TitanFan - I have heard the same WW rumor on the WW boards. I sort of think it was "accidently" leaked so that WW could see what sort of success people had on it...

HERE I AM. The proverbial lurker...

As far as what kind of plan I am on, I have just been counting calories. I am trying to stay around 1200 per day. This forces me to make good food choices in order to have something to eat past breakfast!!! I have also been using WW meals or Lean Cusine meals at work and sometimes at home. These really help me to stay within my target calorie range for the day.

So far it seems to be working for me. I have been OP now for 46 days! I am also down 19 lbs so far. I finally had to go looking through my upstairs clothes closet in order to find some of my smaller size clothes to wear. What a great feeling that is!!!

Believe me, I have tried every diet in the book in my lifetime and if I can do this anyone can. Like Gayle said, you have to have your mindset on making it work. No one can do it for you and you have to be ready to do it. It is not easy! It is really hard work! But we all know how worth it it is when it works!!

So to anyone of you who is struggling to get on plan or stay on plan, I have this to say to you!

YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! JUST BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!
We are here for you and we can feel your pain because we have been there too many times ourselves. But you can and will do this when you are ready... went it clicks for you... Just don't give up on us or you!!
]

Well enough of my soapbox. I just love you gals and wanted to let you know that I am here for you. I am a really good listener.

Hugs
CAROL

WTG CAROL!!!! What a wonderful post!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I should start counting calories too. I have been really doing good by watching my fat grams & serving sizes AND drinking water but it's coming off so slow! I have only lost 18 (it was 19) since March 17th. I think you're doing so much better then me. Feels like I'm in a rut!

How much do you want to lose?

Keep up the great job and please come back often to give us all motivation & support!!

BIG HUGS & HIGH FIVE!!!

WTG Carol!!! I always knew you could do it!!You are such an inspiration to all of us!!

Today I took my granddaughters to see Finding Nemo. It was a cute movie and the girls had a great time. Man they have so much energy...LOL.

My plan is low carbing {Adkins} but can't seem to stay with it more than 2 or 3 days. On days I'm not low carbing, I try to watch fat intake but it's not working very well. I need to stay with the Adkins because I know it works for me when I work it well. Even bought me 2 pair of new shorts today {{size 18}} Said I wasn't going to but I need shorts so bad. I need help!!

Hugs....Debbie

Carol - 19 pounds is terrific! And Sherry, 18 pounds is terrific, too! When I get to 15 lbs. lost, I'm gonna be dancin' in the streets! And Debbie - I bet you're doing better than you think you are. Atkins is a really tough diet to follow - I know I couldn't do it.

CAROL: Your post made me feel so good!! I am so happy for you! I know you have struggled in the past with losing weight. Sounds like you've found the plan that works for you!!! Have you ever tried the healthy choice meals?

DEB: How many carbs are you doing a day? I try to cut my carbs back, but I also like my veggies. I finally decided I would opt for more carbs just so I could get more of the vegetables.

SHERRY: Your doing SUPER!!!!!! You really are doing GREAT for cutting back the portions and still eating like the rest of the family. I can not praise you enough, you have came so far!!!

TO ALL OF THE OTHER FLOOZIES: Wishing you a sucessful, OP day!

WTG Carol!! You are doing fantastic!!

Titan Dee-I have heard about the new WW also. It's all over the WW boards. It seems to be something like the Wendy Plan. I think it would work, because that gives a lot more flexibility to the program.

Cheryl-You ought to check out the WW boards!! I post over at the Close to Goal board on the 25 mile challenge. There is a wealth of information on the boards there!!

Jeanne-It's getting closer and closer!! I bet you are on cloud nine waiting for Hawaii!!

Jennelle-You are doing awesome!! You'll make your birthday goal!

Sherry and Deb-I wish I could come and visit you when you are here in Fl., but Panama City is quite a ways from me.

Ramona- How did hubby's test results turn out? You never told us! I hope he is okay.

To everyone else-Sorry I don't have time to post to everyone, but I am thinking of all of you!!

BTW-Come over to the exercise board and set a goal!! No matter what, anything is better than none at all!!

Gotta go to work!

Angry

Carol and Sherry 19 & 18 lb. losses are TERRIFIC!!!! And Sherry, sometimes it's better to lose the weight slowly, so you won't gain it all back.

Deb, I did really well on Atkins.....That is, until a holiday rolled around and my Aunt made apple pie and homemade ice cream....It was all downhill from there.

I lost 4 1/2 # at my weigh-in last night. My goal for this week is to lose that other 1/2

Hello to everyone!!!! Have a wonderful Hump Day!!!

Way to go Cheryl!!!!!! You did an awsome job!!!!

Shelley, Rick's tests all came back normal except for the glucose tolerance. It was borderline and we will work on controlling it with diet and exercise for now. Thanks for asking.

I need to ask you all something that is off topic as far as weight loss. Have any of you ever used debt consolidation to lower your monthy payments. I'm not talking about borrowing against equity in a house, I mean lumping all of your monthly bills into one to make just one payment. Do you know if this is a good way to go or does it hurt you in the end? Thanks everyone.

Hello to all the Floozies......more later!
Ramona
