Dee-I loved the article and the pictures, wow! You've really created a cool space for yourselves. Made me feel like I was in Mexico. Very cute and creative. Looks like you enjoyed the process of putting it together too.
I haven't been posting as much lately because they did a website report on all of us at work and told us to cool it on the personal use...geeze, I can hear it now "what does 3fatchicks.com have to do with entertainment law?"... maybe I was researching a potential story line for an MOW, yeah, that's it!
I'm still plugging away at Atkins...not much to report weight loss wise...still down 18 lbs...I guess my camping food forays didn't help but I'm okay with it.
Time for me to sign off....Keep on losing Floozies...all of you are such great inspiration to me! Thank you!
Thank you Jeanne for the compliment. We did love putting our Paradise together. It was a lot of fun. I really hope that you will be able to work your way around posting here. We all enjoy your input.
Hey Farmer Dee, no time to visit the link now, but will later on today. Have fun today in the cucumber patch!
Jeanne: You just tell that silly ol' boss of your's that there is important business to be taken care of with us Floozies! No such time to goof around and actually take care of work/business!!
WOW, we got hit yesterday by storms and just got our power back on......18 hours later!
Man, I sure don't long for the good ole days if it means no electricity!!! lololol
Thanks everyone for the good wishes on the house. Like I said, if it's meant to happen, it will.
Sherry, not only did mine and hubby's grandfather's work together, but our mother's went to work for the telephone co. together right out of high school. Our dad's were both overseas in the Korean war at the same time, and one of hubby's brothers was married in the church where my other grandfather was the preacher!........weird huh????
I'll be back to catch up with everyone in a bit.....gotta go get all the equipment plugged back in and running.
Ramona: When I was a child, my Aunt had a very best friend to the point of you never seen one of them without the other. She had a young boy about my age and we would play together. It was a family joke that we would one day grow up and marry each other. In high school, I had a girlfriend that I considered to be my best friend. Now, lets go forward about 15 years.... I apply for a job, the young man interviewing me is cute, in a geeky, nerdy sort of way.... we date and marry...turns out the two kids that I ran around with are his cousins and the Aunts best friend was his Aunt! Gets better... so by now it turns out that all of the families knew each other, but Steve and I had never crossed paths... one night we were all sitting and talking and Steves Dad mentioned a house to my Mom, turns out that the same house that my Mother lived in as a child, was purchase later by Steves Grandad and Grandma and his Dad lived in the same house!! WEIRD HUH???? I just hope there isn't any in-breeding going on!!!!
Gayle, I humming the theme from the "Twilight Zone" LOL
Isn't it strange how you can not even know a person and yet have so much background together. I was working in the mall when my hubby(before I knew him) saw me and wanted to ask me out. His kid brother was with him and said he knew me because we went to church together. He actually sent his 10 year old brother into the store to see if I would go out with him!!!!! I did, we hated each other, tried it again 6 months later and the rest is history!!! hahaha
I may need to check out that inbreeding thing myself! LOL
It's funny when we get together for one of the kid's birthday... Steve and I sit back while the rest of the family taks about old times!
Girls: Who do you think is going to win American Idol????? I miss it tonight...damn meeting My personal vote is for CLAY...ALL THE WAY!!! Did you catch him last night singing the last song?
