Saw on FB where Shad had given you a swift kick in the pants. We understand about the busyness of the spring and work. Annie Went back to read and saw that you two had caught 5 sting rays. Good of the kitchen to fix the catch for you. Sounds like you had a nice vaca. Happy I did pop some arthritis strength Tylenol since Saturday morning but it wasn't really doing the job. I found the mobic/meloxicam and took one of those this morning. I'm pretty sure I stirred up those bones spurs. I'm finally getting some relief. This 61 year old body didn't like what I did to it. Mel Don't you love the quiet week ends. Laura Good for you in having a productive week end. -------------- It's back to work this morning. I haven't slept good in a couple of nights due to the sore back, plus news of a cousin's illness. I'm going to have to make a point to go talk to her by ourselves next time she's home. By the way home is Paragould. |
Hi ladies -
The weekend flew by. I didn't get nearly as much accomplished as I wanted to, and for some reason I was really tired. I took a 2 hour nap Saturday and a 1 hour nap on Sunday. I got the usual stuff done: laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning, and website work. I was up before 4 am today because I had to update a document for this new project I'm working on. I'm really busy at work with 75% of my time allocated to one project, and at least 50% of my time allocated to another, but I will not complain about this. It was chilly here this morning; it got down to 31 degrees overnight. Hopefully the temps will get back to highs in the 60s/70s and lows in the 40s/50s. We were quite spoiled. The lawn is green and growing...so I will likely have to ask one of my neighbors to come over and help me move stuff out of our shed (like the patio furniture) so that I can get to the riding lawn mower which is beneath it all. I tried to move our big wheelbarrow out and tweaked my back a little. I'm not going to make that mistake again. DH said he'd move the stuff, and I keep threatening him that if he overdoes it, I'll take him back to the hospital. :nono: Poor guy, he really has cabin fever, and he hates feeling so feeble. I wish I had time for personals...hopefully later. Right now, I have to type of minutes of a meeting while they're still fresh in my memory. Much love and many hugs, |
Good morning ladies,
not much going on since I posted 9 hours ago. It's Monday so that means gather the trash for garbage day (ours is Tuesday a.m. - really early pick up so it gets set out Monday afternoon), change the sheets and wash the bedding and clean the bathroom. I have some country ribs for supper - last time we made them in the crockpot and they came out really good but it's too late to get them going unless we want a midnight supper tonight. I'm thinking a slow roast... Yesterday we had steaks on the grill - yummy. I did make headway with some of the stuff in the living room. Still more to go. My spice racks came this morning - DH has to get a mounting board and we will put them on one of the cabinet doors in the laundry room. They said light and heat is the enemy of spices so that pretty much eliminates them from going in cabinets near to or around the stove. We talked about putting a small pantry cabinet in the kitchen next to the door but after thinking about it, that's where I have the trash can now and if I put a cabinet there - it would leave no place to put the garbage. Can't put the trash can under the sink because we have lots of pipes there from the water and dishwasher as well as a separate add on piece for the garbage disposal that injects a fluid that I guess is supposed to help break down food bits in the disposal. I don't use the disposal to grind leftover food - that's too taxing on the septic but I do use it to grind the occasional bit of food left on the plates / pots after I wash them. Speaking of washing - review of new dishwasher. Pros: it's VERY quiet. So quiet so you can barely hear it running. It does seem to do a good job of cleaning the dishes - except when DH does not pay attention and puts dirty flatware into the basket of clean stuff, thus contaminating the entire bottom rack :dizzy: Cons: it does not shut off by itself, you have to actually hit the off button to shut the display counter off. We cannot seem to get the end of cycle signal to work, despite following the very easy directions. The reason it's so quiet is because it has extra bulk on the top and sides which greatly reduces the interior cavity space. While this is not a problem for a 2 person household - we fill it up every other day - I can see where this would be an issue for a family of 4. And you have to pay attention to the diagram on how to load the washer as the tines are rather funky compared to what I'm used to which makes loading it a challenge. It has a stainless steel interior - my chosing - as the plastic tends to discolor over time plus I feel the metal holds the heat longer and better (see next complaint...) - but stainless is an oxymoron as I think stainless is one of the most difficult materials to keep clean - the water tends to spot it up not that I am fretting over keeping the inside cover clean but just making an observation. My biggest complaint and I know there is nothing you can do about this is that it that the dry cycle does not get hot enough / stay hot long enough to actually dry the dishes. We had the same issue with our Whirlpool in TN when we replaced the existing Whirlpool with a newer model. The energy efficient ones save water and heat at the expense of drier dishes. I have to let the washer sit for about an hour at the end of the cycle, then open the door for an hour to finish drying. Would I get another Bosch unit? My primary goal was to save water going into the septic so I think it meets my most important criteria. Price wise and for interior space, I would have gone with Whirlpool again (we've had 3 of them and that brand continues to be highly rated). Although I'm sure the Whirlpool is cheaper because it has the plastic interior and lower quality racks. Anyway so much for my morning babble. I think I'll get dressed and go with DH to the "man store" - farm and fleet place and check out the garden area. Have a good Monday chicks. |
Michelle - you get up REALLY early in the morning - no wonder you are tired as well as still dragging from the lung crud. Don't wear yourself out or you'll be restless and in bed next to DH whom I imagine will be starting to get fussy soon ;)

Morning all. The admin asst is out today, so it’s quiet by me.
Happy – Oh, black bears coming out of their hibernation – HUNGRY bears!!! :yikes: I agree, get dh to move the garbage or anything remotely smelling of food somewhere out of reach! Our dishwasher also has to be manually shut off as well. We aren’t in a hurry to empty our DW, so the drying thing never bugs us. For the stainless interior – when it got hazy, I ran a cycle with vinegar in the soap dispenser and that took care of it. I’m fine with the look of stainless steel appliances, but I find them a hassle to keep clean. It sounds like you’re generally satisfied – I hope it continues for the long-term. Mel – We’re having cold temps today – 40’s. Typical spring in Chicago weather, LOL. The cat tripping the alarm is funny to me, but then again, I’m not the one being awoken in the middle of the night with a grumpy cop responding, teehee. Ceejay – Glad the meds are helping your back. :) Hope you can catch up on your sleep tonight! Shad – Wow, that next assignment sounds challenging – and I’m not even talking about the actual work you’d be doing! There are some positives to it I suppose – you’d be earning a good amount of frequent flyer miles, hahaha. But the hours – 8 days straight, and all that travel time. What a decision. And it’s a year-long assignment… oy. :faint: Patty – Hope work calms down for you – sounds really stressful. Nice to have no state taxes – how does the state fund its spending - corporate taxation? Michelle – Your %’s add up to more than 100, so you must be really busy!! Glad you got in a couple naps this weekend – I’m sure you need it after all the stress you’ve had w/ dh and work. Yeh, it was strange bundling up again after all the downright summery weather we had lately. Some folks at the train station didn’t dress for the weather this morning, and they looked cold!! This might have sent me into a funk if I didn’t know milder temps will be returning soon enough. The downside, of course, the growing grass! Ours is getting green but not growing much yet, thankfully, but a lot of other folks in the neighborhood had to mow this weekend. I’m glad you’re going to ask for help to get at the mower – you sure don’t need the back pain, and dh doesn’t need to further weaken himself! Hi Annie, Mary! -- Nothing much else to report. I ended up taking doggy for a walk yesterday before lunch. Poor guy got tired out, and I think it was my fault. We were by the park and I noticed the tennis courts were open, so I took doggy in there and had him go after the tennis ball I had in my fanny pack. I didn’t think that would have tired him – as usual he didn’t want to return the ball, so I only tossed it a few times. Oh well, in our house, we always say that a tired dog is a happy dog… :D Bf and I had a late lunch at a mom & pop restaurant that doesn’t open til 3 pm, so we went to Walmart for a few things first. Aaargh. I was frazzled from start to finish in there. The place was jammed, and negotiating the aisles with all the giant carts is crazy. Bf was shocked about the ever-increasing price of the saline solution (for rinsing our contact lenses), and I was annoyed because once again they were out of the liquid hand soap. I just hope we like what we ended up with – watermelon something-or-other. Our late lunch/early dinner (linner or dunch, whichever you prefer) was fine, and we stopped at the library afterwards. I ended up with 4 dvds. After we got back home, I did one more load of laundry and filed my state tax return. Yay, all done!! C’mon refunds!! BF met a friend to go to a movie, so I had the house to myself and I watched the dvd “Friends with Benefits” (Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake). It was alright – better than the one with a similar plot that starred Natalie Portman & Ashton Kutcher. I can’t recall the title... Had to look it up or have it drive me nuts – it was “No Strings Attached”. Anyway, it was alright. Justin is more enjoyable to see shirtless than Kutcher, lol. Two of my other borrowed dvd’s are “Hot Tub Time Machine” and “Due Date”. Yes, I am finally seeing the fluffy, silly guy movies that I didn’t want to fork over the $$ for at the movie theater, lol. The final dvd is “Blue Valentine” which is a drama with Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams that I heard was very good. Hopefully I can watch all three before they come due in a week. When I was watching the movie last night, a HS kid came to the door trying to sell something. I was ticked off because it was a bit after 8 pm on a Sunday and she thinks that’s a good time to come around??!! And I was annoyed with how dumb she must have been to come up in the first place because I had our main door open, with just the storm door between doggy (who likes to lay by the door and look out) and whoever’s on the other side. So he’s barking ferociously and she still decides to come up to the door? I should think she would have moved on to the next house instead of dealing with that, but no. I shook my head and sent her away. Sigh. I need to post a “no solicitors” sign. Well, that's about it for me. Pilates class tonight, as usual. Cheers! |

Hello,
Annie - I know what you mean by the emails. I get around 80 to 120 emails a day... yes a day.. Plus phone calls at work and if they can't find me at work, they call on my work mobile. Dinner sounds good. I am sure your cooking is good. Have you started in your garden? I planted several flower pots this weekend and will start planting my tomatos next week. Mel- I hope you get lots of sunshine tomorrow. Yes, you need to be careful when visiting. Let Jen know where you are going. Laura - do you do pilates at home or go somewhere? I would like to take a class but no classes near my house. I agree with you on the girl knocking at the door after 8pm. I won't open my door and now with no doggie I don't like to leave it open when it gets dark. We have sales tax with every purchase, tax on gas, land etc. Happy - I would love to get a new dishwasher but with only 1 in the house It takes a week to fill up. I don't have patience so I run it sooner and then waste water, so I would end up washing by hand. I didn't run it for quite a while and the rubber, gaskets thingy got stuck or dried up... so now I need a new one. I hope you found lots of fun things at the man store. :) We have casinos about 100 miles from here. I'm thinking of making a visit this weekend. Michellez - Don't overdo it. Focus on DH, furbabies and you. The rest can wait. I'm sure DH is going stir crazy with being housebound. Keeping him in my prayers. Ceejay - Yep, she gave me a good kick. I hope your back is feeling better. Shad - Hello, hope all is going well with you. I hope I didn't miss anyone.. |
A grandchild and a wedding, things to look forward. Better not kick the bucket between now and then should I.
Annie - things to remember. Winter is between May and September here, always depending on where you want to be. Winter in the tropics is warm days, clear skies, no cyclones and precious few bugs. Nights are cool but great for snuggling! 'cough, cough, nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Then you need to think about what sort of wedding - beach, mountain, desert. It might have to be in a place where I know people so that you have witnesses (if the family is not coming down as well) but fear not, we have cooks, bottle washers, dog walkers, kids for flower girls, drivers, sparkies and other trades to make the day special if you do decide to have it here. Plenty of time to make decisions unless you plan to bring over the MP and half the army - although if we go to Darwin, you can get married on an American Army base - should be in place by then. Patty - good to see you back and posting. We all need a :kick: from time to time. Does us the world of good. I find dishwashers smell if you don't run them regularly. That's where the drawers come in handy. Ceejay - hope you get past the spurs and pain shortly. Happy - good review on the dishwasher. Always a toss up on buying appliances. I've just bought a new vacuum. German make and so far seems okay. We shall see when I really ask it for the goods after the cat has moulted. Interested to read about the bears. Guess they just want food like everyone else and it's easier to be in the rubbish bin than having to fish in a lake. Mel - Dementia abounds. Should you get it, I will come over and shoot myself when I get there, I think, should I remember. Horrible, horrible disease. Michelle - I am not surprised you are tired and need a nap. You have been living on stress and worry for months and it is now settling down somewhat. There is always payback. Take it from one who has been there. Laura - always nice to have the house to yourself for a bit. Doesn't mean you have to rush around and do things, but it does mean that the house is nice and quiet - or loud if you like your music like that. Better go and get on with cleaning my room. Time for a spring clean there. And DS2 has arrived home as well. |
Good morning ladies -
Yes, things are busy at work. Early last week, when I thought I would only have 2 or 3 reports to build by mid-April, I volunteered to assist with another project (that's the 50+% of my time project). Then, by the end of last week, I learned I had to revise/rebuild 17 additional reports by mid-April...some involve more complex changes than others. So I'll have to manage my time very carefully, and have to work some long days - but you won't hear me complaining. Today, I'll be in training all day, but that's a good thing too. As for the "difficulties" at work...I won't know much more until I get my review. But I've decided not to worry about it and just focus on working hard. DH is hopefully going to work on the taxes today. He's up and around for an hour or two at a time, usually working on computers, then he rests and bit and gets back up later. Yesterday, I had some errands after work, so DH came with me to get out of the house. And since the errands were close by, I let him drive...his first time driving since before the surgery. But I told him that until his oxygen level improves and gets more stabilized, I don't want him driving by himself anywhere. ********************* Annie - Australia in 2014? Okay...we'll start saving up. DH and I would LOVE to go to Australia for your wedding; although our finances would probably prefer a Vegas wedding. As for when you and Curtis can come visit...DH would rather wait until he's feeling better so we can actually show you around and do fun stuff...maybe summer or autumn would work better. Let me know what Curtis' vacation dates are. BTW, I got the email with the ring and necklace photos...absolutely gorgeous!! I can imagine how lovely they look on you, and I can't wait to see you in person wearing them!! Shad - That potential new job sounds very tempting due to the pay and all expenses covered, plus being near the new grandchild. That is a lot of traveling and time away from home for a whole year, especially since they aren't known for family values. Trust your instincts, girlfriend. Mel - I'm glad you're giving the employees answers they don't like. It is NOT your job to do their job for which they are paid much more than you, I'm sure! Arrrgh! People like that get me SO mad! I used to watch Carol Duvall's craft show all the time - back when I had time for crafts and made stuff to sell at craft fairs. I cracked up when I read that a cat pulled a medical alarm! Too funny!! Definitely let Jen know before you go visiting tenants that have dementia. Happy - On occasion, we get black bears down here. In fact, they have been spotted in the suburbs of Milwaukee. But thankfully, they aren't nearly as common down here as up north. I've never heard of bears getting into bird feeders, but I imagine they're starving when they first wake up from hibernation. I know when we used to go camping in Yosemite National Park in CA, the park rangers warn campers to not leave ANYTHING out (or in your tent) that has a scent (including toothpaste, deodorant, dish soap, etc.). The campgrounds had metal boxes (called bear boxes) that can be locked, which is where you store all food and scented items. You can't even keep a cooler of soda in your vehicle because bears recognize the shape of coolers and know that coolers mean food, and they will break into vehicles to get at the cooler. As for bears and their cubs, when DH and I were hiking in Yosemite, some other hikers came upon an adorable bear cub and they surrounded it and kept getting closer trying to pet it. Not us though...for we knew that Momma Bear was not far away, so we hightailed it out of there. I love and have profound respect for pretty much all animals, but some animals are best respected from a distance. Bummer that you missed out on the crab leg dinner. I also hate black flies and any biting insect. I don't mind the "real" RED ladybugs...but those nasty ORANGE Asian beetles pack a mean bite. OUCH! That's weird that the dishwasher doesn't shut off by itself. I've never heard of such a thing. Our dishwasher doesn't put out too much water to the septic...at least not compared to the washer. So we just make sure that we don't do more than 2 (or on a rare occasion - 3) loads of wash per day. Laura - Good on ya' for getting your taxes done. I think I missed the type of pillow you ordered. A good pillow is SO important. Ceejay - So sorry to hear about the bone spurs acting up. When I overdo it, I take Aleve (with food so it doesn't upset my stomach); that seems to help a lot. I've got a bone spur in my ankle that acted up last night...but thankfully it only acts up occasionally. Bummer that the sore back has been keeping you up at night. I can definitely relate. There are many nights I have to take meds to ease the back pain enough so I can sleep. I'm so sorry to hear of your cousin's illness. I'll keep her (and you) in my prayers. Patty - So glad that you're back. I hope your training was good. I think the class I'm taking today will be a good one. :) Okay...time to head upstairs for training. Much love and many hugs to all my dear friends, |
Morning all.
Mel - Scary situation if you encountered violent behavior! Please be careful. Hope the grocery shopping goes well and you have plenty of time to enjoy the weather today. :) :flow1: Ah ha, you used the "tire 'em out" strategy on your pet too!! It's either do more laundry or buy more clothes, sheets and towels, and I actually prefer doing laundry over shopping, LOL. Besides, I don't have room to store more stuff... Annie - You just painted such a perfect domestic picture there, too bad the return to work stuff has to be there! OMG that's a lot of VM & EM!!! :faint: :headache: Good luck sorting it all out. I'm glad you still feel that the vacay was worth all that - means it was a really good one!! :) Wow, no small plans - a wedding in Aus. sounds fantastic! I would love to go back there and see another part of the country (I was only in the Sydney area). Course I wouldn't mind going back to Las Vegas either, LOL! Let us know how that Spike Spice works out! Patty - So you get that much EM and VM on a daily basis! :yikes: No wonder you're stressed! Pilates could definitely help with that. Well any exercise really. I take Pilates twice a week at a park district facility that's a five minute drive from home. Maybe there's classes close to your work that you could take if there's nothing close to home?? Shad - Yeh, nothing like a quiet house. Bf benefits more from that than me. I need to send him on outings more regularly. :D Michelle - Hope the training today is worth the time, given your busy schedule. I went to two lunchtime workshops last week and both were interesting. I learned that my conflict management style is heavily weighted towards a combo of accomodation or avoidance (vs. compromising, competing, or collaborating). Not surprised by that. So dh is feeling better? The pillow I ordered is filled with buckwheat hulls. It is a pillow that can be shaped to suit you and provides more neck support. Hellos to Ceejay, Happy & Mary. --- It started out sort of gloomy and chilly this morning, but I think it's supposed to brighten up and warm up, so that'll be nice. I'll see how it is at lunchtime. I won't mind being overdressed on the way home. :D Last night was Pilates class. My Wed. night instructor filled in for the Mon. instructor. I was okay with that. I watched the last half of DWTS and then something else I can't recall at the moment. Oh, Castle. It was alright. I heard that a new series called Mary and Rhoda is coming on the Hallmark channel. I love the Mary Tyler Moore show! I'll have to tune in to see what this series will be like. Tonight is supposedly ribs for dinner, but we'll see if something comes up to throw a wrench into that plan. That's about it for me. TTFN Worldlies! |

THE ONLY THING MY DAD KNEW WAS THE LOCATION OF EVERY GIN MILL WITHIN A 25 MILE RADIUS OF OUR HOME!!!! |
Mary and Rhoda show - I had to find out more about that - Hallmark channel was pretty mum about it...
Valentine's Day is just around the corner and "love is all around" as The Hallmark Channel has acquired the rights to the classic CBS '70s sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show! Who can turn the world on with her smile? Only the great Mary Tyler Moore can, along with the help of the rest of the brilliant cast: Betty White, Valerie Harper, Cloris Leachman, Ted Knight, Ed Asner, Gavin McLeod, and Georgia Engel. The series of course was about Mary Richards who was jilted by her fiancé, so she moves to Minneapolis and eventually winds up as Associate Producer of The Six O'Clock News. She also befriends her new neighbor, Rhoda Morgenstern, with whom she is initially at odds. While Valentine's Day is next week, Hallmark will not premiere the classic sitcom until Sunday, April 1, 2012. The series will premiere with a marathon on Sunday, April 1 (and no, we're not foolin') with an all-day marathon. Details are still to come, but the marathon will also feature the 2000 ABC Monday Night TV movie Mary & Rhoda, starring Mary Tyler Moore and Valerie Harper. In the movie, Mary Richards and Rhoda Morgenstern find themselves alone after the death of Mary's husband and Rhoda's divorce. Both have relocated to New York City and try to jumpstart their dormant careers and reconnect with their daughters. Currently, the classic sitcom airs on the digital network MeTV Network and on cable on FamilyNet, so Hallmark's rights are not exclusive. Hallmark Channel recently added The Bob Newhart Show to its schedule (started in mornings, now in late night), so it looks like they are adding classic sitcoms (both this and Mary Tyler Moore Show are MTM Enterprises sitcoms). We can't reveal the April 2012 schedule just yet, but stay with us in the coming weeks to see if The Mary Tyler Moore Show does indeed "make it after all" on the regular schedule after this marathon event. More details on the marathon are still to come, too, so stay tuned. Read more: http://blog.sitcomsonline.com/2012/0...#ixzz1qL8bcRFW |
You guys with the hundreds of emails and voicemails have my utmost sympathies. Worst job I ever had in my life was like that. I remember coming into my office at 7am and feeling a huge sigh of relief if my V/M light button on the phone was not blinking! There's no way to possibly keep up with that stuff.
Well Annie - here's one regret in advance for your wedding - I can't afford to go to my niece's wedding in Houston much less clear around the world, much as both of us would dearly love to see Shad on her home court. But I'm glad you are getting married. Maybe you, Sissy and DS could make it a threesome :D Hope John sells his house Mel - :crossed: things are picking up slowly in the housing market. I heard the people across the yard from us sold their house close to asking price which I am shocked about - but they had the place on the market for close to 2 years on and off and the outside needs expensive replacement work. They were sneering at people like us who "gave their house away" and brought down home values by selling under market. Oh well those people did not offer to keep the place up, mow the lawn, rake leaves and pay our taxes, insurance and utilities while we left the house vacant waiting for the best price. :snooty: Mel - please do be careful with some of the folks who might not be mentally in this world at the moment. Don't want to see you get hurt. Laura - I have some leftover ribs from last night in case you aren't feeling like cooking yours today ;) They came out good. I might feed them to DH tonight. Michelle - what ever happened to your next job at work or are you caught in the middle? You talked about applying for a developers job then talked about going with another reporting group. Are you still stuck in limbo? I hope not for your sake. Crazy sometimes (often actually) what goofiness defines a re-org. Glad to hear that DH got out for a bit. A good thing that you won't let him go out alone yet. Shad - ok, word of the day - what's a sparkie? As for bears, I think they will wade into a shallow stream if the "fishing" is easy and food leaps right into their mouth - ie. spawing fish, but they are not swimmers by nature and will not walk into the lake and go flapping about for their dinner. I'm sure the fish hang too low and are way too fast for them. Especially when they first wake up and are sleepy  I hear noises on the deck at night - probably the bear cub sized raccoons we see on the back lot. I was in the gazebo for a minute today and noticed that something has been chewing the floor boards right outside it :yikes: Did quite a bit of damage - I'm betting it was those (not so) cute pine squirrels trying to get at the seed that fell through the cracks. Apparently digging through wood is easier than just going down to the grass and walking beneath the deck to get at the loose seed  Smart they are not! Patty - I would have to agree with you on the dishwasher - would not do me much good if I were a party of 1. Actually I don't mind hand washing except that it puts alot of water down the drain. Have fun at the casino - 2 hours drive each way - do you make that an overnight stay? Annie - couldn't agree with you more re: the amount of work before AND after vacation to get ready / catch up. Almost makes yah wonder if it's worth it. But usually it IS. I see we are close in cycle on the meal planning again - must be the stores are coordinating sales  Just a comment about the taxes - TN is a no income tax state BUT they more than make up for it being the FEE capital of the world. Everything has a fee (and often more than one) attached to it. I think I'd rather pay the tax. But down there taxes are a bad word (don't know how the people think things get paid for) and I guess they don't think of fees as money coming out of their pocket. People will live in one town but not another where housing is less expensive because "we're NOT paying county AND city taxes". People will not live across the border in Mississippi because tho housing is cheaper and you can get more land for your dollar - "I'm not paying no state income tax". Yet, they will drive across the border to shop because sales tax in MS is far less than the 9.25% in the greater Memphis area. Screwy :dizzy: So yes Laura, when you come down to it, the money has to come from somewhere -taxes, increased sales price, less product for your money, special assessments or just plain do without and be like my sister's town in which the high schools are ancient and horridly overcrowded because every referendum to build a new high school gets voted down by the seniors who don't have kids and don't want their taxes raised. :dunno: I found a yummy cinnamon cake I am dying to make from a site on Pinterest. It will use up some of the extra baking ingredients I have laying around and will no doubt make the house smell fabulous too. Later kids... |
Hey Girls....
Dinner was fabulous...Curtis was going to be late getting home...Tuesday and Thursday are his late nights....plus he had some errands after work. I fixed asparagus and mushrooms...potatos and onions....cabbage n cheese wrapped in bacon...all 3 each wrapped in foil with spices and what not on the grill then made burgers (95% lean with NO pink slime filler) all on the grill...it was sooooooo good. My goodness..it was delish... Today was another worked filled day with no lunch....man...it was a long day...then they are doing construction where I get on the highway...took 25 mins to get through a normally 3 minute light/get on the highway ordeal. I got home 40 minutes later than usual. BLAH! Not doing personals as I am going to bed...I am so tired...old age is getting to me. Loves and Hugs...happy evening/morning/day! |
