Morning all. TGIF!!!
Happy – Interesting about the road restrictions up there – a lot to be aware of. Do you learn about all this stuff from your cousin, or how – hope it’s not all by trial and error!?!? No, our current governor is certainly no prize either. Doormat more accurate. The person really running the state is the despicable speaker of the IL house of reps. If there’s a reason for term limits, it’s him. Since I’m not sure a burning voodoo doll will do the job, I might have to do my job in the primary and vote for a non-incumbent. Too bad the only person brave (or naïve/stupid?) enough to do run against him has no chance...but still. I dunno if it's worth having to announce to the world (okay, entire polling place) which party's ballot I'm going to vote. I've always hated that...
Oh, I see re the Rx’s . Yes, it’s definitely cheaper to get them through the mail order pharms. How irritating, if only they’d listen! I prefer the massage idea over spending big bucks for expensive pillows. I won’t go over a certain amount, I know that.
Michelle – Good you know you like the reporting work better and are going to go for that. With retirement being so uncertain and/or so far off for a lot of us, it helps to like what you do!! I’m glad you’re going to get some help with the cleaning. But it’s the decluttering first that’s a whole ‘nother job. Just don’t overdo – dh needs you!
Ceejay – Yay, I’m glad you’re going to the Smokey Mountains to join the family.
Shad – I hope you enjoy your weekend at home. I think the guys at the mine will be fine - and not having you at the ready to assist may help them be more resourceful.
Annie – Can’t blame yourself for not being focused on the matters at hand this week. Been a real toughie.

How does the crown feel? If you’re not back here before leaving tomorrow, have a
wonderful time on your vacation.
Mel – Hope the inspections are going well. Is it newbies who get nervous, or is it a regular thing for all of them? I should think knowing what to expect from the past inspections would alleviate some of that…

Ache & pain report: Back/neck felt pretty good yesterday, but back to twinge-y today. Bah. Been wanting to supplement my Pilates classes with some BE workouts, but I haven’t. If I do something this weekend, it’ll be wise if I stick to lower body work.
Did a wee bit of online searching for activities during my mom’s visit. She’s mentioned that my brother doesn’t want to see the minor league baseball team play, but she does, so that’s an option. Just need to pick a time when they’re at home. Also noted an art festival, and there seems to be a farmers’ market too. Have yet to check out the Branson piece.
Gave in to the chicken pot pie craving last night and bf and I tried the ones KFC now offers. Crust was good, but not enough chicken. Boston Market’s pie is better. Not that I can have those very often without feeling very guilty. Especially when the bp monitor's there to rat me out, lol.
Today’s the day for the tree work, and the boss man was sitting in his car at our curb when bf and I left the house this morning (he was dropping me off at the station today). Tonight we’re going to finally have our dinner at the steakhouse.
Dinner with bf’s mom is now a lunch retry on Sunday at the Greek place in which her complaint letter got her a $50 gift cert. Hope it's good... Otherwise, no other firm plans this weekend – yay. I will, however, spend more time in the home office working on the paper organizing and taxes.
Have a good day/evening/weekend everyone! And Happy St. Paddy’s Day if you’re celebrating.
