Morning all - quick post.

Michelle - Hope the PT session went well. It's so great you've made strides in the pain dept, and that you're learning safer movements for your back that allow you to be more active! Go girl!

Ceejay - Has the rocker/recliner been delivered yet? Sounds comfy. :cloud9: Good luck re-installing the shelves elsewhere. We need some storage in our 3-season room - that's where we store a lot of stuff, but we either put it on the floor or on one of those long party tables which we only intended to use for the occasional party buffet but ended up keeping up year round because we don't have anyplace else to put the stuff... Need some nice cubbies or something. I hope the sinuses give you a break. I'm just walking in the Relay. It's not like one of those events where it's a race, or where you commit to walk or run a certain distance. You and your team just walk around a track as much or as little as you want, no requirements. There are special laps for survivors, caregivers, etc. and theme laps that sound like fun. I'll try and walk a good amount tonight because I've been such a slacker with exercise this week!

Annie - Words really can hurt, so I get your anger. I hope it passes quickly - life's too short to carry around those feelings. Thoughts are one thing, but actually saying something and how it's said are quite another. I wish you lived closer - bf has a punching bag in the basement you could vent on! Don't work too hard today/tonight.

Happy - I'll miss your posts if you pack away the computer, but I totally understand that the tv and computer can be huge time-eaters. Enjoy the rest of your mom's visit and I hope you have a productive weekend packing up the house. :)

Shad - Safe travels, and enjoy your time back at home!

Hellos to Ellen and Mel!

Quiet again today. Last night I couldn't escape the neighbors on each side mowing their lawns after work (and it was bf the night before with the mower, the weedwacker and the blower - thought it would never end!).

Then a house behind the house directly across the street from us was burning their tree debris. Grrr. Very smokey, and with the wind direction, it came right into our house. My lungs felt it right away. I phoned the police and the dumba$$ I spoke with was no help at all - asking me if it was their firepit because if it was, he couldn't do anything, blah blah, so I hung up and bf and I went over there and asked the woman to stop burning stuff. She didn't speak much English, but I think she had already been asked to knock it off and indicated she would stop. Sigh. I might just need to move to the middle of nowhere for some peace and quiet and fresh air.

That's about it, so I'll post. TGIF - everyone try and enjoy their weekends!!

diyana 06-24-2011 12:52 PM

Wooo Hooo! Finally, finally, finally, got the design/layout AND the ridiculous navigation menu to work in both IE and Firefox! Now it's just a matter of working the content to fit the new categories. :woohoo: :dancer:

But first, I've been sitting at my computer for way too many hours...so it's time to get up, move my body and do some cleaning! I wonder if I can Zumba while vacuuming or mopping the floor!

How is everyone else doing on this fine day?

Lots of love,

annie175 06-24-2011 12:53 PM

Good Afternoon!!!

Missing Shad and MELLIE, hope this worldlie home gets back to normal soon....and Ellen has been MIA some too! Hope you all are doing well.

Laura...between all the cut grass and the smoke from the neighbors, it is a wonder you can breath at all. Wow! I looked around Humana but didn't find any oxygen or masks that I could send to you. lol Maybe I just need to invest in a punching bag, there are other frustrations out there I could punch out. Hope your weekend goes well and you enjoy it!

CHELLE....hey girl, you even sound better now that you get to exercise a bit more. Bright and cheery! And knocking off those 6+ lbs kind of gives you the extra power to keep going. Hope you get to enjoy at least some of your weekend, but I know the website work brings in those extra $$ for things that come up unexpectedly. Hugs.

Happy..with your computer packed, can you still post from work?

Not much on the agenda this weekend. Guess it will be a quiet, lonely time. Stop on in if you wanna.

Guess I'd better get this posted and get back at it.

Much love and many hugs,

annie175 06-24-2011 12:54 PM

Chelle, you snuck in right above me...if I could do a cartwheel without breaking my neck, I would do one for you on the design/layout thing. YGG!!

annie175 06-24-2011 12:56 PM

Ceejay.,,what are you up to today and this weekend?

ceejay52 06-24-2011 05:49 PM

Annie
Right now I'm waiting for the rocker/recliner to be delivered. Went to visit with a friend this afternoon also. Who own's the furniture store where I bought the recliner.

Michelle
Don't know why you can't do some of those Zumba move while you are cleaning. It would make the time go by more quickly.

Laura
I understand about all the noise the lawnmowers make and all the grass that they stir up. I have the same problem at work in the winter time when the auto body shop next to us burns wood for heat. Even with the doors closed the smoke still seems to seep through the cracks.

-----
My sinuses are a lot better today, just groggy from the histamine I took last night. We had a brief shower this afternoon and cooled things down.
I may do some yard work later if the grass isn't to wet.

Shad 06-24-2011 09:09 PM

Morning all,
Sorry to be MIA so much. I just had another training session from **** and I really don't feel like doing much talking. I had a note from Mel overnight and she is feeling better but it will take a long time for her to recover completely - if she ever does.
Here it is:
GOOD MORNING CHICKS.

TODAY SEEMS A LITTLE BIT MORE PROMISING.
I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE OLD DOCTORS ADVISE. MORE BEDREST THAN SITTING UP. MORE LIQUIDS. A PROTEIN SHAKE. ONLY CANNED FRUITS & VEGGIES. OF COURSE THE BABY FOODS & FARINA. SOME ALEVE & PROBIOTICS. I CAN FEEL AN IMPROVEMENT NOW AND HOPING FOR A FULL RECOVERY. HE ON THE OTHER HAND IS OPTIMISTIC BUT TELLS ME TO TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME. NOT RUSHING INTO ANYTHING. OF COURSE HE IS GOING ON THE ASSUMPTION THAT THERE IS NOT A REALLY PROPER DIAGOSIS. HE'S NEVER SEEN THE SCANS.
HE GAVE ME A LETTER TO FAX OUT TO THE CLINIC ON THE 5TH. TOLD ME I NEED A FOLLOW-UP VISIT WITH SOMEONE NO MATTER IF I GET WELL OR NOT.

I HAVE NOT GONE DOWNSTAIRS TO KEEP THE STRESS LOWER. BUT JUST KNOWING WHAT WAS GOING "WRONG" WAS MAKING ME NUTS AND CAUSING THE PAIN TO RISE. SO VISITING EITHER WAY IS VERBOTEN AGAIN. ONE POLITICIAN CAME HERE AND TOLD ME "I AM THE GO TO GAL"....I TOLD HIM THEY BETTER LEARN TO GO TO SOME OTHER PERSON. HE'S THE 2ND ONE TO TELL ME THAT SINCE I GOT HOME.
WHAT A FOOKING SUMMER!!

THE PAIN LEVEL IS REDUCED TO BETWEEN A #1 & 2 ON A SCALE OF 10. IT WAS ABOUT A 20+ AS JOHN CALLED THE AMBULANCE THAT DAY. WHEN I RAN INTO THE OLD DOCTOR IT WAS ABOUT A STEADY 6. THE CONSTANT PAIN WAS EXHAUSTING ME AND WEARING ME DOWN EMOTIONALLY.

HE WAS RIGHT..... I WAS TRYING TO SIT UP TOO MUCH AND "DO LITTLE THINGS". IT PUT STRESS I ON THE AREA WITH JUST SITTING AND BENDING. THERE WAS JUST TOO MUCH INFLAMMATION ADDED TO MY ALREADY INFLAMED BODY. SOMEHOW I LOST SIGHT OF THAT. I THINK IT WAS BOREDOM AND FEAR MOVING ME. AT THE MDA CLINIC THEY TELL YOU TO GET OUT OF BED AS SOON AS YOU CAN SO THE BODY DOESN'T ATROPHY FASTER.
KIND OF A CATCH -22 IN THIS CASE.

PLEASE SAY HELLO TO ALL THE CHICKS FOR ME. SORRY IF WE KEEP SCARING OR UPSETTING EVERYONE. THIS HAS BEEN A BUMPY RIDE AND I DIDN'T HAVE MY FRASSING SEATBELT ON EITHER!! ROFL
SENSE OF HUMOR IS RETURNING!! GOTTA BE A GOOD SIGN.

OK.....GOTTA GET OFF THIS THING AND LEAVE MY ARMS IDLE. THAT ALONE HAS IMPROVED THE HEALING. WHAT A PITA THIS ALL IS!!

NOW I AM OFF TO BEECHNUT BABY LAND FOR BREAKFAST.
YUMMO........ NOT!!
LOVE, MEL

So you see she is on the improve. Still haven't worked out anything for her. I am still working on it. Maybe we should find some voice activated computer program so she can lie down and talk to the computer - ie us via computer.

Today I am just going to do the mountain of washing I have, and work on unpacking and very little else. I'm not feeling exactly enthusiastic and need some more sleep as well. So the body will dictate the terms today. I need to get over this depression quickly. I have a meeting with the boss man on Monday and quite frankly I need to dig up some diplomacy or I might just find myself telling him and his management style about his parentage or lack there of. I need to gather words together and use them to the best advantage for me, the project and the company. Not tell him he is a useless, conniving, uncommitted ******* who will only keep this project on the track it is only to get the bonus he doesn't deserve. Top project management get a bonus for getting the job done on time and under budget. Bugger the fact that it isn't working the way that it should and certain decisions that should have been made long ago still haven't been made or have been made so wishy washy that you would be hard pushed to figure out what the decision actually means.

Anyway, the w/machine has just finished. I need to go and hang that lot out and put in the next one. Back later. Maybe even with personals.

happy2bme 06-25-2011 10:33 AM

Good morning girls,

I miss those days when I would wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to take on the world (at least until I had a cigarette and it made me all tired again  ) The last time I woke up feeling good in the morning was 1997. I remember that because DH and I stayed at this gorgeous hotel in California - our room had a balcony that opened up over Monterey Bay. We left the balcony doors open and fell asleep and woke to the sound and smell of the surf. It was heaven. I remember waking up early one morning on my own. DH was still asleep but I couldn't stay in bed. I got dressed and went out for a walk on the beach. I just felt AMAZING and couldn't put my finger on it. Then it dawned on me - I was well rested. For the first time in a long, long time. At the time I was working a very demanding job and getting by on 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night during the week so being tired was a natural state for me. Even though I was at a conference that trip, we still had the very best time. I remember the date because about a month or so after we left, John Denver passed away when his experimental aircraft took a dive into the Bay close to where we were and he drowned. We tried to recreate that trip a few years later but it didn't have the same effect. Instead of a gentle lulling of the surf, we were woken up to the screeching of the gulls all night long. I used to blame smoking for always feeling tired and not well rested. Don't know what the issue is. I have been tested for sleep apnea and that's not the issue. Don't have a problem falling asleep either and generally only wake up once to go to the bathroom unless I drank alot in the evening. So I don't know what the deal is other than each morning I never feel rested and always feel achey. I tried sleeping in other beds in the house too with no difference. oh well...

Lots to do this weekend. I'm going to get to it as soon as I post.

Shad - glad you finally got home. Hope you get some rest and catch up sleep yourself until you are back on the road again. I totally relate to your frustration with the manager at work. You know as well as I do that it won't do any good. Bit by bit they are killing the drive of the best workers as we just get tired of the fight. They won't change and they will blacklist you. Better to write all your frustrations in a letter and tear it up. It's depressing, isn't it? I feel the same way at work. The only thing that is keeping me from blowing up is knowing my days are limited.

I sent Mel a note yesterday.

Ceejay - hope the new chair is nice and comfy. Take a test nap in it to make sure you got the right one  Get the lawn work done this weekend - the blazing heat is on it's way back again I hear.

Annie - you know girl you love you those motorcycles. Maybe you need to get yourself a Harley Sportster and learn how to ride. Then you could join an enthusiasts group - they take rides for fun and charity. It would get you in with a group of people who are in to loving what they do instead of haters tearing people down. DH road for a while with those peeps in Illinois and enjoyed it. Yeah, I know - the only problem is coming up with the cash for the thing

Oops the guys are coming for the bathroom - be back later...

annie175 06-25-2011 02:23 PM

Hey what a day, sky is blue with a few clouds....mostly sunny...grass cut..garden hoed....replanted the onions and more spinach and lettuce...ate up the last batch....going our the enjoy the rest of the day!!

Happy....I love your California story....so wonderful, like a dream. WOW!! Yes I think I need to take up motorcycles...just lack of funds stop me...maybe I will start with getting my MC license and a class...something I have always wanted to do anyways....altho I love riding on the back of one just as well......sounds like you and I have lots to do this weekend with no time to do it in....got some stuff done, but really need an entire weekend....haveta work tomorrow at CVS 11-7 tho....

Girls...I am taking July 1 through July 10 off from BOTH jobs. I am doing some much needed stuff around here, cleaning carpets, relaxing, doing a bunch of nothing, having a garage sale with Sissy, I will be hit and miss during that time, altho as much as I love you girls, I will more than likely check in than rather than not. I am sure to have a bit of time on my hands....Hella B is going to have me full time....lol. She may not like that, cause I make her stay outside on nice days, she is not used to that, and does a LOT of nonsense barking, then at night she is plum tuckered. Might do her some good...I probably should do the same...hahaha...

Shaddie...glad you are home and in your own realm....maybe you can get some normalacy and forget about the J>O>B... thanks for the MELLIE update....hugs to you sista.....

Gotta get back at it...already 2:30 and the day is getting away from me....

Much Love and Many Hugs to my worldie Sistas.....

ceejay52 06-26-2011 08:36 AM

Annie
You deserve those day's off from both jobs.

Happy
Maybe when you get moved you'll feel more rested. All this packing can be a pain by itself.

Shad
It sounds like you need some down time. Thanks for the note from Mel.

I feel more rested when I'm around my youngest sister that lives in Missouri. Don't know why because it's a long drive there. I think it's because her boy's (both young men) treat me like a queen. Plus I love the rock and hills.

happy2bme 06-26-2011 08:53 AM

Good morning ladies,

Busy day yesterday. Got alot of the extra stuff in the kitchen packed up. DH was painting, the guys were back to finally work on the bathroom and we were stepping all over each other. I sent Mom upstairs to read. I did get alot done. Today is church shortly, then over to Target as I am just about out of paper goods, get gas and and Sunday paper and stop and pick Mom up some of her favorite Cinnamon Crispy snacks. Back to plant my herbs and tackle the back bedroom. The new bath is starting to take shape but not without it's issues. The granite is gorgeous and we picked the right color for the walls. The 1/2 bath that DH repainted looks fresh and renovated too. I had wanted to get into the pool yesterday but didn't sit down until about 9pm. This whole week is going to be run run in prep for vacation.

Annie - that's nice that you are finally taking some time off - are you going to help Sissy decorate a nursery?

Ceejay - I agree with you with what I've seen Missouri is very pretty and peaceful.

Shad - hope you are feeling a bit rested up today.

Love to you Mel

 to Ellen

Happy Zumba'ing Michelle.

I hope you are finally getting some sun Laura - seems like all it's doing is raining by you. Did you get the big storms this week?

I have to go get dressed for church. Talk to you later chicks.

Shad 06-27-2011 05:38 AM

Evening all,
I'm back in Mackay for a couple of days. I had a stand up fight with the project manager on Sunday and suggested that maybe we needed to come up with Plan B because of the way the system was performing. But then it was apparently all my fault because I didn't go through every user and check out their permissions and things. Useless to try and argue that the system wasn't right - it was my fault.

Got my own back this morning. I went to log on and lo and behold the system went into a loop never to be broken. I went and got him and showed him how much it is my fault. He didn't apologise but came close. Apparently it is still my fault but I am redeemed because I can't help it!!!!

Happy - hope you are enjoying the time with Mum. That bathroom sure is taking a time to finish.

Ceejay - glad you are enjoying time with family.

Annie - time to have a bit of downtime and sort out the sleep patterns.

Better go get ready for tomorrow.

MELODY525 06-27-2011 06:44 AM

:coffee: MORNING CHICKS

NO ONE HERE BUT SHAD SO THIS IS SHORT AGAIN. THINGS ARE ABOUT THE SAME. NO MIRACLE AS YET. THE BLDG REMAINED QUIET YESTERDAY. I HAD TO GO TO THE LOBBY TO LET SOMEONE UNLOAD SOME TABLES AND FELT LIGHT HEADED FOR SOME REASON SO I LEFT THEM TO IT.
MAYBE SINUSES I THINK. ANYWAY I FELT BETTER LATER ON.
TIDIED UP THE LIVINGROOM AND TODAY I'LL TRY THE BATHROOM.

I STILL HAVE TO READ YOUR POSTS. MAYBE LATER ON. BUT FOR NOW I NED TO GET THE APT READY FOR THAT INSPECTION. BABY STEPS.
HAVE A GREAT DAY :moped:

SHAD.....SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE WOES IN MACKAY. DO MEN EVER REALLY APOLOGISE?? FOR THAT MATTER....DO I??? SOMETIMES I COME CLOSE THOUGH  HOPE THIS WEEK GETS BETTER. SAFE TRAVELS:hug:

happy2bme 06-27-2011 07:59 AM

Run, run, run, run, run. Good morning girls. This week is going to fly by like a bullet train. I am trying to multi-task in an insane way. It is hot and sticky here which doesn't help matters any. Will probably do more reading than posting with you guys. Know that I am here in spirit.

Shad - of course it's your fault. That's today's mantra. Sounds like this is a doozer of an assignment for you. Hope it gets better for you.

Mel - WHAT are you going down in the office???? I guess we have to find Carla and her cattle prod to stand guard at your door when Jen is not there. :rollpin: 17 pounds down, eh? Geez woman - that's a terrible way to diet! Just keep resting and getting better and don't be over doing things.

I hope the rest of you had a good weekend. I have to get hustling, will try and check in at lunch.

See yahs

diyana 06-27-2011 08:52 AM

Happy Monday everyone -

I had a great long weekend. Got some website work done (though unfortunately not enough), mowed both the front and back yard, and finished up the housecleaning before my niece arrived on Saturday evening. Sunday, she and I went to Strawberry Festival, which was a very nice arts & crafts fair, and they had lots of yummy food, including delicious strawberry shortcake...yes, I indulged. Afterwards, she and I went to Panera where we had salads for lunch. We did A LOT of walking at the festival. Around 4 miles according to my pedometer. I had to bring/use my walker (that has a seat)...so I could rest when needed, but I'm really impressed I was able to walk that much. This coming Saturday, I'll have to take my walker again when we go to Chicago.

I'm in a couple challenges on the Chicks Up For A Challenge section, and my first week was a success. I lost 3 lbs. :woohoo: I'm not making 100% perfect food choices, 100% of the time. But I am moving as much as my body will allow.

************

Annie - I'm so glad you're taking time off from both jobs! You so deserve it!! I wish you lived a bit closer so we could hang out together during your vacay. Good for you on getting so much gardening/yard work done. I need to weed and fertilise my plants.

Ceejay - Are you enjoying the new rocker/recliner? I hope your sinuses are doing better today.

Shad - Sorry that your training sessions are so awful and the management is even worse. :( What a total jerk! I hope that the systems and management attitude improve.

Mel - So great to hear from you!! Please, please, please don't overdo it with all the cleaning. How inconsiderate of someone to ask something of you at 10:30 pm. Sheesh! Don't they get it that you're still recuperating?! :tantrum: Maybe you need to remember that too, young lady. As long as you're having pain, you should take it easy. :rollpin:

Happy - Your California memories are so lovely. Bummer that you can't figure out why you don't sleep soundly. Remember it won't be long until you have the gentle sounds of the northwoods to sing you to sleep, and you can sleep in. I'm impressed at all the packing you're accomplishing. I can imagine how this week will be rush rush rush with getting work tied up, and then doing as much packing as possible at home, along with trip preparations. Glad to hear the bathroom and painting projects are coming together.

 to Laura and Ellen!

We're supposed to get bad storms today...but hopefully no tornados. I'm hoping to go to the gym this afternoon, but if the storms are really bad, I'll work out at home with the Wii Fit instead.

Love and hugs,

ceejay52 06-27-2011 10:35 AM

Mel
So good to see you back--don't over do. That was very inconsiderate of the senior that told you to call and have the car removed at 10 3.0 p.m. They must think you are 100% back to work since you've been going downstairs.

Happy
I fully understand about all this packing you are having to endure. It will be worth it. Try to spend some time with mom.

Michelle
I'm proud of you at how well you are doing. :bravo: on those pounds lost.

Shad
How long do you have at Mackay? Hope you get the kink's worked out of the computer.

----
Last night I decided that it was time to get back into the swing of things. I stopped by Sonic Drive In and got a foot long cheese coney. It sat on my stomach all night long. Today I've packed healthy food. Also last night rode the stamina bike for 3 miles. It took me a little over 10 minutes. I was traveling at 14 to 15 miles per hour. It's going to take a while to build my stamina back.
I do have a doctor's appointment Thursday for blood work. Maybe he'll give me my thyorid meds back. I've started taking a B12 on a daily basis and that's helping.

diyana 06-27-2011 11:21 AM

Ceejay - :bravo: to you for packing healthy food and for riding the bike last night!! You were pedaling at a pretty good pace! :cp: :cp: Glad to hear the B12 is helping. It helps me a lot too. I hope the blood work turns out okay. As for the Sonic cheese coney dog...I'm a sucker for their chili cheese coney dogs, as well as their chili cheese fries. Luckily, the closest Sonic is roughly 30 minutes from work and an hour from home, so it's easy for me to avoid the temptation. :)

MELODY525 06-27-2011 12:22 PM

I WAS DOWNSTAIRS FOR A LITTLE WHILE. THE OLD GENT FROM INDIA IS BACK AND HE IS SICK. LOTS OF SAD NEWS BUT I COULDN'T NOT GO DOWN AND SPEND SOME TIME WITH HIM. THIS IS PROBABLY HIS LAST VISIT HERE IN THE USA. WE HAD A GOOD CHAT AND LAUGHS. LOTS OF OLD MEMORIES. WE'VE KNOWN EACH OTHER OVER 15 YEARS I THINK. ANYWAY....

:book2:I JUST WENT BACK A COUPLE OF PAGES AND READ A FEW POSTS.

FIRST....DON'T BUY ANYTHING ELSE!! I HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED AND OR CAN USE. THE THOUGHTS WERE VERY SWEET BUT I AM SURE I AM ON THE RECOVERY ROAD. IT MAY END UP WITH EITHER AN APPENDIX OP OR I HAVE A BLOCKAGE IN THE INTESTINE THAT EVERYONE MISSED. ONE DAY I WILL GET A PROPER DIAGNOSIS. :lol3: BUT FOR NOW ALL INFECRTONS ARE CLEARED UP, THE SKIN IS CLEARED UP, THE EYES TOO AND I ALMOST FEEL LIKE MY OLD SELF EXCEPT FOR THE SIDE PAIN. THANK YOU ANYWAY:grouphug:

ANNIE....I AM SO SORRY THAT DAVE IS A FOOKING AZZHOLE. WHY WOULD YOU EVEN LISTEN TO SOMETHING HE SAID. I KNOW IT'S EASIER SAID THAN DONE BUT S C R E W HIM....NOT LITERALLY OF COURSE:hug: IF I GOT HUNG FOR EVERY MEAN THING I SAID IN PRIVATE....I'D BE LONG DEAD BY NOW.:faint: I AM VERY HAPPY TO HEAR YOU'RE TAKING TIME OFF FROM BOTH JOBS:beach: YOU NEED A BREAK AND SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF. BEEN BURNING THE CANDLE AT BOTH ENDS WITH THESE 2 JOBS AND HAVE NO SUPPORT OR FINANCES FROM A PARTNER. I AM PROUD OF YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE TO HELP YOURSELF AND THE KIDS AND DAD ETC!!! GIVE YOURSELF A PAT ON THE BACK FOR ME AND A HUG:hug: MY POOPY SISTER.

MICHELLE....NO ZUMBA WHILE CLEANING!! I WILL HAVE TO GO THERE AND SMACK YOU IN THE HEAD. CONGRATS ON THE DESIGN LAYOUT (I THINK THAT WAS WHAT I READ...SHOULD HAVE TAKEN NOTES) I AM GLAD YOU CAN ADD EXERCISES ON AND HOPE THE BACK WILL BE FRIENDS WITH IT:hug: HOW IS THE DMIL FEELING NOW? ARE YOU AND SHE ALL HEALED UP AND READY FOR THE SUMMER HEAT & FUN TIMES?????

CEEJAY....HOWS THE NEW RECLINER CHAIR??? ARE THE SHELVES STILL HANGIN ON THE WALL??? OR DID YOU GET THE BRACKETS!! LOL WILL YOU BE POSTING FROM HOME FROM NOW ON AND ARE THERE NOSY PEOPLE AT WORK THAT KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING?? REMEMBER TO ERASE YOUR HISTORY ON THEIR PC!!! I HAD TO STOP USING THE PC DOWNSTAIRS FOR THAT VERY REASON...AND NOW THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO USE IT FOR PERSONAL USE ANYHOW.

LAURA....CAN'T BELIEVE THE COPS AND THE FIRE PIT. I HAD NO IDEA THEY COUD USE IT FOR THAT PURPOSE. SHAME. GLAD YOU WENT OVER THERE AND SHE WAS "DONE".....THERE IS A HOUSE NEAR HERE AND THEY HAVE A HUGE BBQ....LATE AT NIGHT THEY USE WOOD AND SIT AROUND IT I THINK....NOT SURE WHAT THEY DO. EVEN WITH MY A/C ON I CAN SMELL SMOKE IN MY ROOM AND IT BOTHERS MY LUNGS. SO WHEN YOU MOVE OUT INTO THE COUNTRY TAKE ME WITH YOU!!

HAPPY.....I WAS THINKING OF JOHN DENVER THE OTHER DAY AND WATCH HIS CHRISTMAS MOVE "THE CHRISTMAS GIFT". I THINK THAT'S THE TITLE. ANYWAY, ONE DAY I WILL GOOGLE IT AND SEE IF THEY STILL SELL IT AND GET IT. I MISS HIM EVEN THO HE WAS A BIT DESTRUCTIVE IN HIS NATURE TO HIMSELF. POOR SOD. HOPE THE PACKING GOES WELL AND THE MAN CAVE WILL BE FILLED TO THE BRIM!!!!

SHAD...POOR YOU WITH THESE GUYS TO DEAL WITH. SEND THEM TO ME....I AM MBEGINNING TO FEEL BETTER CAUSE JOHN SAID I MUST BE GETTING WELL CAUSE I WAS GIVING ALREADY OUT ORDERS TODAY!! ONCE A QUEEN....ALWAYS A QUEEN:queen:

ELLEN....HOPE YOU ARE DOING OK AND THE MEDS STILL ARE WORKING. HOW IS THE SUMMER GOING WITH THE KIDS ALL HOME NOW???? HANG ON TO YOUR SANITY TILL SEPTEMBER!! I WAS CHATTING TO FRIENDS IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM AND THOUGHT OF YOU AND MY MT WASHMORE. WE WILL FOREVER BE DOING WASH TOGETHER!!

diyana 06-27-2011 12:42 PM

diyana 06-27-2011 02:58 PM

Laura - How was Relay for Life and the graduation party?

Laura705 06-27-2011 03:06 PM

Hey everyone.

Shad - Jeez, this assignment is something else isn't it? And the project manager sounds like a jerk. How do you restrain yourself from doing him bodily harm??!!

Happy - Sounds like a very productive weekend. Hope you have just as productive a week before you head out for your trip. Sorry you haven't been getting restful sleep - try to hit the pool in the evenings for some relaxation this week. Just floating around in the pool sounds so tranquil.

Michelle - The fest sounded fun. Glad you were able to walk more than before - progress - yay!! What are your Chicago plans?

Ceejay - Keep at it with the stamina bike!! Did you get that rocker/recliner yet?

Annie - Ooh, bet you're looking forward to having time off from both jobs all at once!! Cleaning carpets and a garage sale sound like a lot of something, but I guess you'll have time for a lot of nothing as well. Don't get into trouble now with all that time on your hands, LOL!!

Mel - Good to see you stopping in here and that your pain is getting to a lower/minimal level. What are you doing in the lobby getting lightheaded - you want to spend the whole summer in bed?!! Take it easy if you don't want to end up relapsing.

Hello Ellen!!

Well, very Monday day today. I need another weekend to recover from Friday and Saturday. I was at the Relay for Life event from just before 6 pm until 1 am. It was a nice event and a fun time. I walked a total of 5 miles, but it was waking up too early Sat. morning that made me tired! Still, I had a great time at my friend's graduation party that afternoon. A group of us ended up going to a bar for some karoake that night. It was another fun but late night, but this time I got about 7 hours of sleep.

Sunday was lazy - I pulled some weeds while I talked on the phone w/ my mom, walked the dog, and bf and I did a bit of shopping at Trader Joe's. Otherwise, I read the paper & my book and that was about it. What a gorgeous day on Sunday!!! :sunny:

Tonight is finally my hair appointment. Working on something icky today, and the boss and I are meeting on another icky thing right after we hear the Blago trial verdict (Blago is our corrupt ex-governor).

Okay, gotta run. TTFN.

annie175 06-27-2011 03:10 PM

Good Afternoon My Fair Ladies......oh it is Monday AGAIN...and raining...I think there is a song in there somewhere...lol

MELLIE...YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, so glad to see you, don't over do it tho and for Pete's sake, let downstairs take care of downstairs. We need/want/miss you more than they could even think about. Hugs to you my sweet poopy sista!!

Hey there, hi there's to everyone else...it has been disasterous here for a couple of weeks...we FINALLY migrated TO Outlook FROM Lotus Notes...Shoot Shaddie you want to see a screwed I.T. department, have a looksee of this place. Nothing run correctly, everything locks up, runs as slow as turtles, or cannot even access it half the time. What a mess, I told them to hire you!! Free trip to the states and a entirely new bunch of idiots to work with.....real enticing...NOT. Anyway it takes me a half a day or more to do a 2 hour job. FRUSTRATING.

Going by dad's on way home from work then out to dinner with friends to celebrate a birthday for another. Nothing spectacular, as I am trying to watch the funds. Mostly watching them float right on out the door!!

Gotta get...

Much love and many hugs,

Laura705 06-27-2011 03:12 PM

Mel - Slow lane - that's more like it!!

Michelle - At the graduation party two people from my (and my friend's) HS days attended and it was interesting seeing them for the first time in 25 years! One guy was still the same bonehead I thought he was back then, and the other is still pretty much the same - nice normal guy. I had a great time, but I still haven't really recovered from lack of sleep!

diyana 06-27-2011 04:04 PM

Mel - So glad to have you back. But don't you dare overdo it. Annie's right...we want/need/miss you so much when you're gone. :( I'm so sorry to hear that the gentleman from India is ill and this could be his last visit. :( I hope the pain in your side goes away without any surgery or hospitalization or procedures or anything of that sort. I'm glad to hear the infections, your skin and your eyes have all cleared up. Don't worry, Mellie, I didn't Zumba while cleaning, I just used Zumba music for motivation! DMIL is doing good, but working way too hard in the yard so she can't do fun things with us. We try to get her to stop and rest, but she says she loves working in the yard, and when she's at DH's sister, they don't really have gardens or anything to putter with.

Laura - Our friend who lives in Chicago suggested the botanical gardens which are north of downtown. But since it's supposed to be SO WARM AND MUGGY this Saturday, DH and I suggested the Museum of Science and Industry. My niece is a teacher and sort of a science/technology geek (like DH and I are), plus it's air conditioned. We'll see. I've heard that Taste of Chicago is this weekend and that it is pretty much jam packed with people (hopefully we'll be able to get to the museum okay). The good thing is that I should have my temporary handicapped parking permit by this weekend. My doctor agreed that with all the things I want to do this summer, and my limited walking ability, I don't want to waste all my walking around a parking lot. Glad you had a nice time at the Relay and the grad party. We did have gorgeous weather both days didn't we? I'm not looking forward to the hot and muggy that's heading our way. :( I wonder what the Blago verdict will be. Bummer that you have all that icky stuff to work on. I hope you can get caught up on your sleep.

Annie - It's raining off and on here too, but the garden needs it so I won't complain. Aww, you poor thing to convert to outlook. We use Lotus Notes, but may be switching to Google corporate email...or whatever it's called. Bummer that the conversion has slowed your productivity to a stand still. Have a great evening with dad and then with your friends!

Almost time for me to start packing up for the day! :woohoo:

Catch up with y'all later or tomorrow!

Love and hugs,

ceejay52 06-27-2011 06:58 PM

Laura
Yep, the rocker/recliner sits in my living room. It was delivered the same day.

Mel
Also love the new avatar and manta.

Annie
I hate slow computers but what I hate the most is when some one hacks the computer. I may end up buying a new laptop soon. The battery on mine doeesn't last more than 2 minutes!!!!!

annie175 06-27-2011 11:11 PM

Evening/Morning all.....

I took dad his favorite Coffee Nip candy that he loves...it is not sugar free, however we (us kids) all decided, dad doesn't have much more time with us, his heart is bad and he struggles to do just a little walking/treadmilling, and that by golly if at 84 years young, he wants his coffee nip candies, then he gets them. He tried to pay me for them but I would have none of it...besides the pleasure was such a small price.....1.27 a box with my 20% discount...what? like a dollar...and as I have said before I am all about the dollar.

Leah's BD dinner was very fun. One guy gave her a huge gift bag full of "re-gift" items...too hilarious, and said he wanted his gift bag back...lol, I laughed till I cried. Some gifts he said he even stole from his sister. Keep in mind all these KIDS from CVS age from 20 to about 28, but they love me and I love them...I was comfortable being the only ABOVE 28 year old...lol. I am just glad they feel comfortable enough to invite me.

Chelle...my garden was crying for some rain water also....10 minutes of rain is much better than 1 hour of the hose, I truly believe that. We are not expected to get any rain until Saturday....of course. Next four days dry and 90, whew the air conditioner is sure to be turned back on....$$$$$$$

Ceejay...I hate it when we have to bite the bullet and make a large purchase like a computer....however the computer is becoming one of those things that people like us cannot live without. Sad.

Laura...I had the most fun at my 30 year reunion back in 2008. If you recall, I walked into the reunion and looked around and wondered who all the old people were....my classmates..I certainly did not look like that....hahahahhaha

Me thinks I need to hit the hay...11:10 pm...way past my bed time....YIKES....

Nighty nite chicklets....

HAPPY TUESDAY:sunny:

TODAY IS A MELIDAY. JEN AND THE DD ARE COMING DOWN TO SPEND SOME TIME TODAY LATER ON. THE MORNING IS GOING TO BE MELLIE RESTING.
I AM READY FOR INSPECTION. I AM FINDING THAT IT'S SO MUCH EASIER TO GET THE APT READY FOR COMPANY SINCE I REALLY GAVE THE HEAVE H O
TO ALL THE CLUTTER. AMAZING HOW FAST CLEANING GOES. I THINK MY SINUSES APPRECIATE IT TOO. LESS DUST COLLECTORS.

NOTHING NEW HERE. TIME FOR BREAKFAST. COULDN'T SLEEP IN FOR SOME REASON. STARTING THE DAY NEARLY. HAVE A GOOD ONE :moped:

LAURA...GOOD TO HEAR THE GRADUATION PARTY FOR YOUR FRIEND WAS NICE. HOPE SHE HAD A GOOD TIME TOO. 5 MILES!! YOU GO GIRL. THIS GETTING UP EARLY IS FOR THE BIRDS!!! THAT'S ALL I COULD HEAR AT 5:15 THIS MORNING!! FRASSING LOUD BIRDS!!! IT MUST HAVE BEEN FUNNY SEEING SUCH OLD FRIENDS. SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT WEEKEND WAS HAD BY ALL!!

CEEJAY.......DO THEY SELL REPLACEMENT BATTERIES FOR THE LAPTOPS?? I WAS WONDERING CAUSE JEN & RICHIE HAD A LAPTOP THAT DOESN'T HOLD A CHARGE TOO. THEIRS WORKS SCREWY TOO.

ANNIE...FEELS GOOD TO BE BACK. I "need/want/miss you" ALL TOO. WE HAD 2 TENANTS THAT A WERE NIP FANATICS. EVERY MONTH THEY WENT TO CVS TO LOAD UP FOR THE MONTH. ONE WAS DIABETIC BUT SHE HAD TO HAVE HER NIPS. SHE DIED AT 98 YRS OLD STILL EATING THEM :lol3: :lol3: MAYBE NIPS ARE THE SECRET TO LONGEVITY!!!

MICHELLE....I THINK THE DMIL IS GOING TO MISS YOU, DH AND THE FREEDOM OF THE GARDEN MORE AND MORE AS TIME GOES BY. GLAD EVERYONE IS DOING OK OVER BY YOU AND THAT IT WAS JUST ZUMBA MUSIC!! EVERY TIME I RUN INTO A COMMERCIAL FOR THOSE DVDS, I THINK OF YOU!!

HAPPY....I HOPE THE TRIP GOES OFF WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. HOPE TOO THAT THE TIME WITH MOM HAS BEE A GOOD TIME. HOW IS THE SL;EEPING GOING. SO MUCH ON YOUR MIND THAT IT MUST BE HARD TO TURN THE THOUGHTS OFF AT NIGHT. STAY WELL.

WHERE DID SHAD GO:?:....PERHAPS THE MEN ARE HOLDING HER HOSTAGE!! WE BETTER BEGIN TAKING UP A COLLECTION JUST IN CASE!!

diyana 06-28-2011 07:29 AM

Good Tuesday morning ladies -

Okay...maybe it wasn't the *best* idea to help DH plant annuals and perennials in the beautiful new planter ring he built. The ring is about 3' high and the planting involved a lot of bending and a bit of climbing. Not smart. But I really wanted to help. Now, the stabbing pain is my back's not so subtle way of saying, "nope, you shouldn't have done that." :( You ladies may all yell at me and come after me with the rolling pins. I really deserve it for pushing myself too hard. Thankfully, I have a massage today. I'm going to a different masseuse (got a coupon)...so I'm not sure if this will be a wimpy light touch massage or a deep pressure, muscle releasing massage. I suppose I should request what I want when I get there. Right now, I'm not sure what it is that I want.

******************

Ceejay - Laptop batteries do wear out over time. DH and I each have laptops where the batteries only last a couple minutes. Hackers don't really affect the battery life, just the processing speed of the computer. They do sell replacement batteries for laptops, if the laptop works okay (fast enough, reliable enough) when plugged in. Not sure how much they are or how to install though. DH takes care of all the computer hardware stuff. He says that me, being a programmer, breaks the computers due to overuse, and he fixes them.

Annie - I love Coffee Nip candy. I felt the same way with the little indulgences my parents' enjoyed, and those that my DMIL enjoys. By that age, heck, give 'em what they want. DMIL tries to pay me for little things I pick up for her too. It's like seriously? Don't bother. Glad you had a great time at Leah's BD dinner. Too funny about the re-gifted items!! That's great that they see you as one of the kids! I hear ya' about rain water being better than hose water. We got about 10 min. of rain yesterday, though we were hoping for a little more. We'll be putting our A/C back on by the end of the week too. Friday it's supposed to be in the mid-90s here, and that's pretty warm for our area. DH and I both have Friday off to spend time with my niece. So maybe we'll take a drive along the shore of Lake Michigan...it's nearly always "cooler by the lake". Too funny what you said about the "old" people at your reunion. I seriously say stuff like that when I hear of my friends' kids getting older, going to college, etc. How did they get older when I sure as heck didn't? I still feel in my heart and mind like I'm in my late 20s/early 30s. Of course, my back often feels like that of an 80 year old. Chronologically, I guess I am probably getting older, but I sure as heck REFUSE to GROW UP!

Mel - Awww, I love the flower, butterfly and ladybug graphic you posted! So cheerful!! It's so great to come online and see you've already posted. I've really missed that. I'm so glad you're feeling well enough to do more...just don't overdo it, okay? I'm glad you are taking a Meliday today!! :D You, Happy and the rest of the chicks are really inspiring me to declutter!! After my niece leaves, I'm going to promise myself that I'll spend at least two hours a week decluttering (tossing, donating, etc.). I enjoy getting up early and hearing the birds serenade me. :) They do sell replacement batteries for laptops. Do you have a Batteries Plus store near you? They have replacement laptop batteries. As for the men holding Shad hostage...if they were hotties and not b**tards, she might not mind. But since the guys she's dealing with are a**holes, we should send out a rescue party. Party? Did someone say Party? Crank up the Zumba music and let's dance! :dancer: :dancer:

Laura - Congrats again on the 5 miles you did for the Relay! Are you getting to the gym classes this week so you can workout in air conditioning?

Shad - Hope everything is going okay. And that you're able to come to terms with the project managers.

Well, gotta get get. Talk to y'all later.

Much love and big hugs,

annie175 06-28-2011 09:32 AM

Good Morning All....

MELLIE...I am with Chelle...so wonderful to have you back and open the page to your post!! Both you and Chelle are doing a little too much and causing yourselves pain.....I guess I need to make a road trip and wallop both of you over the head with my wooden rolling pin. MELLIE...don't make me spank you! lol

CHELLE....I ended up getting dad 3 boxes of coffee nip and 1 box of peanut butter nip candies. He loves peanutbutter, anything, also. Got him a bag of Dunkin' Donuts extra strong dark roast coffee, as he likes the kind of coffee that stands up without support....blah. not me. Also a puzzle book and hankerchiefs. (sp) That should keep him busy for a while. lol. I am with you...I don't feel 51 in my mind, however my body (obviously, fat, saggy and wrinkled, according to some) feels and looks it.

Shaddie...send up flairs or some kind of signal if you are needing rescued. Right now, I would like to say men are at the bottom of my list, but actually they do not even qualify for my list. There are only a handful that are not *ssh*les. And we chicklets know who they are. Rambling Sheesh

Better get back at it, my Outlook FINALLY is loaded this morning. Only took an hour and half for it to work. Slow to log on, slow running, guess it is in line with my cluttered, slow brain this morning. Only had 1/2 cup of coffee so far, got to bed late as a friend called late and kept me on the phone till 12:30. Evidently, her S.O. b*st*rd man she lives with tried to choke her. Drama which I want no part of, but felt I should listen to her. I did tell her she should of call 911 and not put up with that crap. I just don't understand why women do?

Anyway, have a wonderful day/night....hello to all.

Loves and Hugs.

MELODY525 06-28-2011 09:52 AM

http://ts4.mm.bing.net/images/thumbn...-boots-txt.gif

ANNIE....YOU BETTER PUT YOUR BUTT KICKING BOOTS ON BEFORE YOU LEAVE ON THAT ROAD TRIP TO MICHELLE AND I!! YOU'RE GONNA NEED THEM BY THE TIME YOU CATCH US!!
SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR FRIEND. HOPE SHE WISES UP. BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT MYSELF. I WAS A SLOW LEARNER  HOPE YOUR DAY GOES BY FASTER AND YOU WAKEY WAKEY!!!

MICHELLE....HOPE THE BACK FEELS BETTER AND THE MASSAGE HELPS. IT'S TOUGH NOT DOING THINGS YOU REALLY WANT TO DO. I STARTED TO LOSE TRACK OF MY DAY YESTERDAY AND PAID A SMALL PRICE LAST NIGHT. ONE DAY WE WILL BOTH GET IT RIGHT!! YA THINK???? I TOLD JEN ABOUT THE BATTERIES AND SHE SAID THEY GAVE THE LAPTOP BACK TO HIS DAD WHEN THEY WERE IN FLORIDA. IT WAS A CHEAP HP AND NEVER WORKED RIGHT. SUPPOSEDLY THE DAD IS FIGHTING WITH THEM FOR A REPLACEMENT OR A "FREE FIX". I SAID GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MY DAY WILL BE EVEN QUIETER NOW. JEN HAS CRAMPS AND CANCELED. JUST AS WELL CAUSE I REALLY NEED SOME SILENCE AND INACTIVITY TODAY. I TALKED TOO MUCH AND MOVED TOO MUCH YESTERDAY. SO A NICE HOT SHOWER AND THEN SOME MINDLESS IS IN ORDER. MAYBE A BOOK. :book2:
EITHER WAY....THE SIGN IS ON THE DOOR & THE PHONE IS OFF THE HOOK! :beach:

diyana 06-28-2011 10:34 AM

Annie - I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I hope she does the smart thing and get out of that violent situation. to your friend. And  to you too for listening to her and being there for her.

Mel - I hope you get the much needed and much deserved silence and inactivity today. I'm glad you took the phone off the hook and put the sign on the door.

Laura705 06-28-2011 10:42 AM

Morning all. I have to try and make this quick.

Michelle - The MSI sounds like a great idea to beat the heat, and I would think that with this being the 4th of July weekend, a lot of people will be doing the cookout/beach/pool type stuff vs. a museum. I really want to get to both MSI and the Botanic Garden - need to get better at being a planner instead of a "go-alonger". Sorry you overdid it with the planting and your back is suffering the consequences. Hope the massage tonite helps. You've done enough of them by now that I'm sure you'll be telling the new masseuse exactly what she needs to do!!

Mel - Good morning. :) Nice to see your AM posts once again. Good that you'll have a nice quiet day to make up for your overdoing it yesterday. Live and learn m'dear...

Annie - Not a coffee person, but those peanut butter Nips sound yummy. Sorry the Outlook is working like crap for you - we moved from Lotus Notes to Outlook in March 2010, but we didn't have the slowness issues. I've had my beefs with it, but in general I'm okay with it - it's the purging and archiving policies and procedures I detest!

Ceejay - Soooo - how's that new chair? Have you fallen asleep in it yet?? :D

Hellos to Happy, Ellen and Shad!!

Nothing much to report. Had my hair colored after work. Bf sold our tandem bike last night! :) We still have my mountain bike, his bike components and our old bike rack to sell. I think all those will be an easier sell than the tandem was, so yay for that. It'll be nice to have new bikes for both of us and hit some bike trails this summer. The only thing is that a battle will ensue between bf and I about how much $$ we really need to spend on bikes... Of course I'm probably out of touch with the cost of a lightweight quality bike. I flip through the Sunday paper sales flyers and see prices of $100 - $300 at the various discount and sporting goods stores, but I'm pretty sure all of those are for heavier steel-framed bikes.

There's so much that needs to be done around the house because nothing got done over the weekend that I'm feeling torn about going to an exercise class tonight - really should do a Walmart run at the very least. But my body feels rusty from lack of exercise, so I'm just gonna go to the class and be good to myself.

Well, Blago got guilty verdicts on 17 counts. Let's see what the sentencing will be, although those country club Federal prisons don't seem like punishment enough, IMO. I feel bad for his daughters. :(

TTFN

diyana 06-28-2011 01:38 PM

Laura - So nice that you got your hair colored yesterday and that bf sold your tandem bike. New bikes are so much fun. I hope there's not too much of an argument about the cost. I got a nice bike for my DH a couple years ago. It's lightweight and was on sale for around $300. Definitely go to the gym or at least do a BE workout. Can you stop at WalMart on the way to or from the gym? I heard the Blago verdicts on the news yesterday (listening to WBBM). I hope the sentencing is harsh enough to fit the crimes.

It's going to be a busy afternoon/evening. I've got a meeting that hopefully will get out by 3:30, because then I'm going to get a hair cut (about a 2" trim actually). I'd love to get the color touched up as well, but there's just not time. My hair appt is at 4, and my massage (which is 20 minutes from the hair salon) is at 5. If it weren't for the meeting, I'd ask to leave early...but c'est la vie. After the massage, I'm picking up my niece at her hotel and taking her out to dinner (probably to Panera). Lots of running around, but it should be fun. I just wish I could think of a haircut that would allow my hair to be long, but look good "windblown". As it is now, I either pull it back in a ponytail or it looks like a rat's nest when it gets windblown.

ceejay52 06-28-2011 01:42 PM

Whew is all I can say to the thunderstorm that rolled through this morning around 7.30 a.m. As my grandmother used to say I made haste---hurry up and get it done. It was black as night here and the power went out also.
even here at the plant but I had shut down the plant to save the water in the filters.
I think most of the power came back on. At least the main office is catching most of those calls.

Michelle
I will not hit you with a rolling pin but please be careful on bending and climbinig from now on. You've really come a long long way to hurt yourself again.

Mel
I'm going to change the tune a bit in one of your graphics to just singing in the rain. I'm so glad to see that you are well enough to come join us. Enjoy the quiet time. We all need this.

Laura
I haven't cat napped in the chair yet but may this week end. It really is comfy.

Annie
I agree to let your dad have what he enjoy's out of life. I feel that way about my uncle too--He's 80 and still is able to get outside to work a bit in the garden. My aunt detest it.

Happy
Thought about you this morning. Is your mom afraid of the storms?

Ellen
Where are you? Busy taking care of the little one!!!!!!

Shad 06-28-2011 03:46 PM

Not kidnapped and not hostaged - and certainly not held for ransom. I think this lot might just give me away!

Back to Brisbane after the final course tonight. Should be home around 9.00pm. I think this is the last of the travel. If they want me to do any more, it will come with a proviso - I book my own airfares. This cheapest flight business is crap. Try the airline with the skinniest seats and least room between seats and sticky vinyl seats at that and put me beside a big miner who overflows the seat and has no room for his legs and has to use my limited space for his knees. Heck I'm not huge and I can only just fit. Poor guy on Monday was nearly crippled when he went to stand up.

Anyway, time to go and get on with it. I'll let you know if I wave the white flag. Next time round, I will be a check out chick.

annie175 06-28-2011 10:38 PM

Hey Shaddie...nuttin' wrong with check out chicks...we kind of ROCK!! and I love dealin' with the good lookin customers. It's the cranky old geesers that drive me nuts....lol Enjoy time at home sista!

annie175 06-28-2011 10:42 PM

Geez, it is hotter than three kinds of h*ll in this house, me thinks me have to turn on the central air....I hate giving into the heat...drives me bonkers.

One more night at CVS then off for the next 12-14 days at CVS, depending on the schedule. After Friday noon, off at Humana too! I won't know what to do with all my time off and end up depressed and wanting to go back to work...I know, I am a sick person.....Once I get through the 4th of July, I will be ok, I think. Must remember to take my drugs.
