Thanks keller:) Hubbys still working lots & lots super long hours so we haven't celebrated yet:(
How's everyone doing? Are you home yet Fer? What a big trip that is it's got to be hard sticking on track with everything and being on the road! Sorry about the computer trouble Cajan Still have a run buddy Dance? I personally love working out with my mom which is odd becasue we don't have a very close relationship but we modivate each other a lot:) Trying to make the most of my holidays this week I've spent lots of time getting in lots of workouts so I'm pretty happy with that! Weight is still 196.5 although my brain is saying 178 haha don't know why that number is sticking out:lol: not quite there yet but I'm working at it! I'm a little scared once I'm back to work next week I'll slack we'll see I guess. I'm dying to get out of the 90's!! On a happy note I pulled my wedding dress out and it fits well it's snug don't know if I could sit in it but it fit so YAY talk about progress:D Once it is too big I'm thinking of selling it, it's a shame for it to sit in the closet. Anyway I'm done for the day going to put some food in the crock have a shower, sit in the sun do my nails & read until I have to get Ethan from soccer:D |
I'm home in the sense of being at my parents' place in Minnesota. We won't get to Boston until mid-August. We got a very vicious flat on Tuesday, driving across North Dakota. Luckily, we were about 3 miles from a town so could get the donut replaced with a real tire, but I took the car in today and got an entirely new set of tires (the car needed them).
Yellowstone was absolutely mind-blowingly amazing. I'm very glad we decided to take a couple days there, even if it meant making our time on the road longer. Unfortunately, my eating habits have not been so great lately and tonight my mother's throwing a party for me and my husband. I'm going to try to stay good, but we'll see. carved: You'll get to 178 in no time, especially with the way you've been working out! |
marmalade - congrats on fitting into your dress! That's got to make you feel great ;)
fer - good luck at the party! Can you help your mom organize things and slip a few healthy options on to the menu? Still have my friend with me and we went for a run this morning - it definitely helps me get out the door, knowing someone else is depending on me. Scale was in a mean mood this morning - I'm hoping it's just water weight. Will try again tomorrow. Hope you all are doing great... |
dancer: There's plenty of healthy stuff: fruits and veggies. I just need to stay away from the spinach dip, cookies, etc. I'll be fine, there'll just be a lot of temptation.

Hello all. Slowly my eating is getting back to normal following our time at the Dallas Market. Did paper work today at one of my shops, not too busy, it's the summer and it's usually slower that the SPring and December. Will be weighing in tomorrow morning, hope it's good! Have a blessed evening.

Dance-snacking is killer, gotta knock that off. Good job on the workouts over the weekend. The scale is being mean to me too(but I know its all my fault)
Marmalade-happy anniversary(late). All those workouts sound great over your long weekend. I need to get back to my workouts. 178 sounds like a good number to me too, even though my scale loves the high 180s. Thats great your dress fits. I tried mine on when I was at my moms and its too big now, yay. Fer-glad you were able to get different movers. Loading everything in a Uhaul is killer. Sometimes longer time on the road is worth it if you get to see some awesome places. Sucks about the flat Keller-the scale will move, drink lots of water. The pool sounds wonderful. Cajun-bummer about your computer. My mom, sister and niece left early this morning. Now my house is super lonely. Gotta get back into a routine with eating and working out. My sister and I are gonna get back on plan together on Monday. Tomorrow is my 30th birthday so I will celebrate and then monday its on. Gotta get this weight off. Im not at 185 right now. I dont even want to get on the scale(it needs new batteries anyways) We spent a lot of time at the beach while the fam was here. Took the dogs once and ran up and down the beach. Jumped on the trampoline some with my niece and took a few walks. Thats the extent of my workouts for the past week. Bad bad bad. I should be here more regularly now, I need you ladies to keep me accountable. Dance, I might need a virtual running buddy this week some. |
Morning all. Just a short note. Just got back from Mass and are leaving to go see Jeff Dunham live in Lafayette, will do my best to keep the eating sane! Will be back tomorrow. Have a blessed Holy Day.

Gettin a pedi so thought it would be a good time to check in!
Weighed in at 250 the other day, so down two more pounds and been doiing bad with the workouts :( Not weiighing in tomorrow, gonna wait a week buut pplan to hit the gym hard all week. Can't wait to see 249 on the scale.. that's what I weighed in october right before I lost the baby., so its good to see that again. Be out of the 250s! Got my tickets for zac brown band! Sooo excited! Comps still broken so this phone internet is getting annoying! |
keller - how fun to be on the verge of entering a new 'decade' weight-wise!
cajun - you're a trooper keeping in touch by phone - that would wear me out. Are your toes gorgeous now? Pedis are just the best - like a mini-ego boost or something ;) burgundy - post-visitor letdown can be tough! what kind of workouts are you planning this week? Doing well on exercise this weekend - got runs in Fri, Sat and today and am hoping to add in a good walk later as well. Need to keep working on eliminating the late night snack thing - maybe by going to bed earlier! |
Dance late night cravings are the worst! I usually have tea, get in a mini workout or go to bed haha not much help sorry. I wish there was a solution!
Keller yay for the 2 pounds that great think of how fast it'll go when you add more workouts:D Yike internet on the phone props to you i don't think I have the patience for that haha Cajun good luck with food tonight eating out is such a pain when there is such tempting yummy horrible food everywhere  Burgundy I'm sure you'll bounce back into a routine & it'll take your mind off the empty house;) Good luck this week! Back to work tomorrow :( blah don't want to I have really enjoyed being at home when it's nice and quiet, eating regularly is great too haha & working out lots in the mornings is fantastic. I am hoping I can get into a good afternoon routine and eat during the day. We're having a light dinner tonight fish, salad, veggies ate some not so great food for dinner last night and chased it with some wine & beer but kept cals low and no gain as of the morning so whoo!! Making some low cal crockpot lasagna for tomorrow going to try and be more prepared food wise so I have meals to take for lunches big big problem I have! Hope everyone had a good weekend:D |
marmalade - pretty please, will you tell me more about low-cal crockpot lasagna? Sounds too good to be true!

While searching some recipes I found this link. http://www.laaloosh.com/ct/health-an...s/low-calorie/
It's weightwatches recipes it doesn't have nutritional content it has the points system for everything haven't looked at too many of the recipes but some look interesting. Low cal lasagna is really just lasagna haha I haven't made it yet the beef hadn't thawed and I forgot about it but I'll be at it in a second. Heres the recipe I found. Morning Star Crumbles, 3 cups Onions, raw, 1 medium Garlic powder, 1 tbsp Canned Tomatoes, 1.75 cup Water, 1.25 cup Lasagna Noodles Parsley, 1 tbsp Basil, 1 tbsp Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp Fat Free Cottage Cheese, 1 cup Kraft reduced fat parmesan cheese, .25 cup Spaghetti Sauce, 1 cup Spinach, 1 Cup Crumbled No-Cook Lasagna Noodles, 4 oz In a skillet, brown morningstar crumbles with onion and garlic. Drain. Add tomatoes and spaghetti sauce, Stir in parsley, basil, and oregano. Stir in uncooked pasta and bring to boil over 6-7 hours in crockpot. Combine cheeses, add some of the spices to mixture. Add to crockpot, Reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 20 minutes.. Servings Per Recipe: 4 Amount Per Serving Calories: 290.9 Total Fat: 5.0 g Cholesterol: 7.8 mg Sodium: 994.3 mg Total Carbs: 43.9 g Dietary Fiber: 6.3 g Protein: 19.5 g It doesn't say when to add the spinach i'm kinda wondering about that not sure 6-7 hours for spinach is a long time so I might just add it on top before the cheese. I'm going to use ground beef instead of the morning star crumbles add mushrooms, probably peppers and used wholewheat rotini instead of lasagna noodles. I made and inside out lasanga before and it was rotini my husband liked it better so I'm going to try that. I'll figure out the cals and stuff for the changes but it shouldn't be too bad. I was thinking of using it for lunches if it was good I'm sure for a lunch you could get more servings out of it. |
I also found this cheese it tastes kind of like mozzarella it's called Allegro it's lactose free skimmed milk cheese I get a 300g brick for 4.99. The fantastic thing is for 30g it's 60cals, 1g fat, 240mg sodium, 2g carbs and 11g protein.
i'll repost the one I make and the cals and stuff for it I have a feeling it's going to be in the 300-350cal range though |
So I am now, finally, in Michigan. Much wedding planning is going on. Aside from occasional moments like this at a Starbucks, I'm also doing the phone internet thing. At least I can read what everyone else is doing, even if my own posting will be limited.
I haven't been exercising or eating that well, lately. I hate imposing on family -- especially when they're not my own family except by law. So yeah. Need to just be sure I keep my portions small. Hope everyone's well! |
fer - eating right on the road or staying with family is tough! Best of luck!
marmalade - your recipe sounds great - thanks so much for sharing! I may see if I can try a ground turkey version. Got in a good run this morning and am making some progress on the scale - still not back at ticker yet but hope to be by August. Hope you all are doing great! |
