Good Afternoon, Flowers! We got up to a light crunchy snow cover, rain, thunder, and lightning! There might possibly have been 40 people in church with 9 of them singing in Bob's group. Bob said 2nd service wasn't much better. I don't blame the older people for not coming although the crunchy snow was not slippery to walk on. This is a good day to stay home where it is warm!

Maggie -- Enjoy your new printer! I would love to get rid of all the cords stashed behind my desk, but everything is still working fine so will have cords until something quits working. Why don't you dry onions? When Bob's parents lived in AZ they had an orange and a grapefruit tree. The fruit was delicious!

"Gma" -- I definitely would get the mice cuff links! Thomas would get a kick out of them. The ice house that was leaning on one corner is gone from the lake, and I noticed fishermen sitting in lawn chairs and on buckets yesterday when I went into town. They were close to shore so wouldn't have far to fall if the ice gave way. I lost a lot of respect for the Kennedys when JFK's affairs became public as well as Ted's party at Chapadwick (I don't think the name is right, but you know what I mean). I always felt sorry for Jackie and Joan. We haven't gotten any new snow yet today. According to the weather map, it is supposed to be along the MN/IA border north of us. I think it is time to threaten your neighbor's owner with legal action!

Gail -- I know all about slow weight loss. I'm still not into the new program 100% -- the old was much easier for me. I knew the points on everything I regularly ate so hate figuring new points when I know they will be higher. I wouldn't like a long commute either. I could make it to school in 7 minutes if I didn't get caught at a stop light. I hope that Wayne's job will be ok and/or he is able to find something else. Retirement doesn't appeal to him?

Susan -- on your maintain; better than a gain any time. Beth has low bp too, plus recently diagnosed with asthma for which she has an inhaler. Do you have to take meds for low bp? I'm glad you are breathing easier. I don't like the too short sleeves either. I used to buy t-shirts from Lands End, but the sleeves have been shortened a lot. I expressed my displeasure but nothing came of it.

Bob has a meeting at church in an hour. We're hoping there will be a couple of new pastor candidates. Have a nice evening and enjoy whatever you are doing!

Jean -- from Iowa!
