) come out and determine where we could put in a septic system and leach field. And we got the contour maps of the lot. That's it. We have some friends who are planning to build a log camp next summer, so that will provide a little friendly competition/motivation, I'm hoping. We need to spend some time picking out a houseplan and getting actual drawings and hire a contractor. Then I think it will have some momentum of its own. I suspect I will be living with the mildew for another year. I just hope it's not any longer than that. In a new house by Christmas, that would be nice.

I was never neat! I love having stuff all over the place too. My ex was a neat nick. I had to sweep every day, Mop after dinner, dust house on Fridays, laundry everyday,* couldn't have dirty clothing in the laundry room could I?*, bedroom kept spotless, bathrooms cleaned each day, house vacumned each day,etc... I was working full time and doing PTC stuff, was the treasures for a year with that even, all the food cooking, and the grocery shopping. Gee and he wonders why I left his lazy butt?
And it really would be cozy if I was home baking Christmas cookies, but it's a little harder to convince myself when I'm here doing bookkeeping (OK, here hanging out on the computer).

I don't think I could live with his obsessive nature, but at least he's only torturing himself with it.
