Yes, I would agree, puppyhood is hard!! And it's been a challenge for me too, in terms of organization and cleanliness...the house training period was a challenge (and hence my major steam cleaning of the whole house, she's finally completely trained with no accidents!!). And lots of things have been chewed, no question. Mostly kids toys I'm not too worried about, but still. Anyhow as long as you can deal with some chaos for a while, puppies are great and I think well worth it. But if the idea of chaos is too alarming, perhaps an adult dog that's already trained might be a great idea. A puppy with two little kids has been harder than I thought it would be, to be honest. I don't think I'd recommend it to very many people. But now it's getting better, and I'm happy we did it, but even still I have moments where I am like "WTF was I thinking???"
At this very moment though I am watching her play with Jacob in the backyard in the snow, and they're having a great time, so it's all good!! haha
Susie - Congrats on the awesome weigh in!! And for making a great choice afterwards too!
T - How was the spaghetti squash? I am determined to try that - I've never had it. I have one in my fridge right now, I am going to cook it tonight!
