  • It certainly is....our yard is ALREADY covered in leaves! I am hoping to go to an apple orchard or pumpkin patch at some point this weekend! We should have some great weather
  • And the laziness continues...I DON'T want to exercise waaaaahhh, lol. Really not funny though. I do not know what is wrong with me, all I want to do is sleep! I did get 1 1/2 miles done today but that was it, really no excuse for it.

    Had Cambrie and Lily today, kids were out of school. Did a lot of nothing.

    JULES...well, hopefully work gets better for ya.

    SASSY...I feel the same way! Good job on the mile!

    Nothing really planned for the weekend. Kids soccer and football games tomorrow afternoon and that's about it. One is at 3 on one side of town and the other is at 4 on the other side of town, lol. I plan on catching up on some much needed reading, house cleaning and scrapbooking! Oh and exercising for sure!

  • Half way lazy Saturday. That means I have been able to sit down between chores. LOL I cleaned 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms and straightened up the walk in closet. Looks like all I am going to do today. Now I can curl up with my book.

    And..I have been eating ok except for a little over the top last night. I just haven't been getting as much exercise the last few days. (I hear ya Cristina..I don't wanna do it either) So...I am a little frightened to step on the scale Monday. Have forced myself to stay OFF it the last few days.

    Planning a big family dinner next Sunday and then the following Fri. we are off to Las Vegas for 3 nights. It will be nice to get away. Mom is going to stay with my aunt and she is happy to get to visit. Win win situation.

    I have been invited to my stepsiblings family get together at Olive Garden tomorrow...Teri is suppossed to get the boys in time for us to go.
  • Happy Sunday...Not feeling tip top today so I curled up in my chair and caught up on some missed episodes of Top Chef Just Desserts.
    Went out and cleaned out the bird bath and gave my friends fresh water and food. Did then clean the laundry room and prep veggies for dinner. I am fixing a quiche with steamed veggies on the side. Also have a nice salad made, but I will be the only one eating that. I will do big salad, big veggies and a taste of quiche.
    WI tomorrow and I know I am not going to be happy...but I did get my exercises done yesterday and I will tonight too.

    Nothing else happening.

    Cristina..don't quit on us. Hope you get feeling better.
    Jules..Hope the family thing goes well.

    Off to exercise right now before cooking.

    Sue - Quiche sounds really good. I am off to clean my closets today, my place is a pigsty.

    Jules - I hate work.We moved our office clear across the hospital. I spent 3 hrs Saturday putting the office back together,can't function with things not in order. Anyway, I am looking to today off and I vow not to volunteer to work this weekend, need 2 days off in a row!

    It took me all week to lose a whopping .2 oz's. ha ha I WI at 158.2, at least I didn't gain back. This is going to take forever....maybe I will go on a banana diet. Ugh. Off to Goodwill and cleaning the apt. Chat more later.
  • Well..it took me all week to lose 1/2 pound. I was just thrilled not to gain. Maybe by Christmas I will be down to the 160"s. I beat myself up every day for gaining up to 183.5......I mean I had been 170 for such a long time and went the wrong d**n way. All I can blame is SITTING on my butt.

    Okay...I am back on track and MOVING some every day. I actually exercised for 45 min. last night. Gonna go ride the bike before the rain hits.

    SUSAN...I would NEVER quit you ladies, love you too much! So did you find anything good at the Goodwill? I keep meaning to go but never close to it and forget! Enjoy your day off! Oh, good job on the few oz...anything is better than a gain missy!

    JULES...I said that in frustration, and you are right...gkids take a lot of our time. WE need to make some me time for sure. Since J & C don't really NEED me to babysit I am cutting back the days to 2-4 just depends. This week I told Charlotte (she's off today) W & Thurs and Friday is up in the air, not sure. How was your dinner at Olive Garden (my favorite place in the world)?

    SUE...good job on the 1/2 pound! Yeah, why do we do that to ourselves? I am still kicking myself over my gain. Was down to 183 something and then went back up and now struggling to get back there. Such a pain for sure! Sorry you didn't get your bike ride in. Dinner sounded yummy! Making me want to make a quiche...haven't had any in a very long time.

    Well, I pulled my lazy self out of the house today. Thinking that is, maybe, what I need...to get out. I think I am burned out on the mall walking, walking in circles, lol. So decided to go to the park and walk. Got in a good 3 mile walk and some extras. They put in some new little wor stations thru-out the park that are awesome...so did some along the way. Decided I am going to go there at least 3 days a week, wish it were closer, I would go more. I have been so frustrated with this weight crap. I am thinking I am just going to focus on the health part and not so much the weight loss...just tired of it consuming my life. Of course at the same time I guess it always will, I don't know. Anyway, also did a 2 mile dvd...Leslie Sansones Shape and Firm. Still doing my walking challenge but not so sure I am going to worry about the weight loss challenge. Athough, and I don't know how I did it, but I am down a pound this week. Anyway...

    W/I was all over the scale - 156.2-156.4-156.6 so I take the 156.6 = beats 158.2. Wonder about that scale, thinking too much kitty litter has landed on it from Momo kicking it out of his box. It's a miss in that bathroom.

    Sue & Cristina - always impressed w/ your exercising. Ifigure you do it for me, I can sit here,read and live through you guys. haha
    Actually I am thinking of going and buying some walking/running shoes and getting my butt in action. I know, I am always saying this..........this time I mean it though!

    Didn't find anything at Goodwill, tried on a shirt but didn't like it enough for 7.99. I have to go back to work today,getting burnt out. Talk about walking in circles, it gets soooooo boring at times - all I do is walk around.

    *sigh- anyway. Going back to bed for an hour before I have to get Gaby up for school.

  • Ya know I'm about to give up -- again. I walked last week and ate pretty decent and didn't lose a thing!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

    Anywho not feeling too well today. I think its the new meds I'm taking.

    My eating hasn't been perfect by any means, but I have been cranking out awesome workouts! I am shooting for 6 evening workouts and 3 other workouts (walk for 1 hour at lunch 2x's this week and do one morning workout)!

    Its that TOM so I'm thinking I should stay off the scale (i weigh on Fridays) because I look/feel very bloated!

  • Had a good day even though we had to turn on our heat...ugh. I was so enjoying the warmer Fall weather.

    I have almost gotten to the point of not craving anything and not really caring what I eat. (almost) Now as sure as I say that tomorrow will be a day when I can NOT get enough of anything to eat. LOL
    I just figured my calories for the day and I am actually under what I should be..so tomorrow I am going to have to watch it and get enough. We are taking step-son out for lunch, so I know I can get those calories up there..lol.

    Did my exercising this morning. Then had to take mom to the kidney dr. She has still another infection and needs her stent changed again next month. Poor thing just gets over one hurdle and another is thrown in front of her. She got relief from the injections last week, then started having pains in the front of her leg yesterday..now can hardly move. So...gotta call that dr. again tomorrow. Hopefully he can do something to ease her pain because the meds. are not doing it. ):

    Anyway..it did rain me out on the bike ride yesterday, but I exercised inside. Only got about 25 minutes, but better than nothing. I am feeling really good since I lost an inch in my waist, even though the scales are not moving very quickly.

    Getting the house cleaned from top to bottom and preparing for a family dinner Sunday is my agenda the rest of the week. We all pitch in on the food, but I am making a ham, green bean casserole, deviled eggs, rolls, cheese/beef stick plate, Oreo dirt pudding, and whatever else I can think of between now and Sun. I am not even sure how many will be here...I have heard from 14 so far that are definitely coming, plus the 3 of us. We could have as many as 10 more..yikes. (I once had 47 at Thanksgiving)

    Okay..enough of my yakking. I did want to tell Francie that my granddaughter is in LOVE with a Navy man. Looks like we might have a wedding next year as he is on his way to deployment in Nov.
