Default DH quitting cigarettes....

He's doing well so far, nearly 4 days in. He's also losing weight, and this is the problem.

To keep his mouth busy he's been working through the cravings with sugar free gum and breath mints. But he's sick of the sweet stuff now and wants something else. Something "savory" he says...

What kinds of things would you suggest that are very low calorie that will keep his mouth busy while he's quitting?

I use an e-cig to quit. They come in a huge, huge variety of flavors- anything from fruit to pipe tobacco to clove to food. Not only have they stopped my cravings for cigarettes (you exhale water vapor and it feels like you're smoking) but they help with food cravings too because of all the yummy flavors.

If he's not into that, I'd try toothpicks. I have some tea-tree oil ones I bought from the whole foods store that are excellent.

I've suggested carrots, celery, broccoli and cauliflower, even pickle spears, pickled okra, a pickled "hot mix" of veggies....his suggestion was caramel or butterscotch. Idk how that's NOT sweet...men....can't live with 'em....
