School sucked today. Someone stole $10 out of my wallet. I am 99.99999% positive I know which student did it, but I have no way of proving it. Plus, this student's mother HATES the assistant principal, and were we to search him we would have probably ended up on the news.

So, the asst. principal gave me $10 from his own wallet, which I know he didn't have to do. I also had a very stern, but quiet talk with my class. They knew I was pissed, and upset, and extremely disappointed.

I'm going to have to bait them, I guess. I don't want to, but I think I'm going to have to.

Jennelle-If that happened at our school, the student would be suspended for 1 or 2 days. Our principal is very strict with the students. If the parent were to give a fight about it, the child would be removed from the school at some point.

Dee-I couldn't stand it!! I looked to see how far I have gone, although I didn't start using the runnersworld journal until Jan. 13. I have jogged 700.29 miles, and walked 10 miles for a total of 710.29. I still need to go out today, though. Don't think I'll be able to catch up with you, but I think that's some pretty good mileage, too!!

Ladies-I have been very depressed, what with money problems (my DH is still struggling with getting the bankruptcy going), eating too much sugar (hard candy!!), the stress of the job, and my stomach problems. I have been feeling like crying everyday. As you know, I already take Prozac, but it doesn't seem to be doing the job---or I can't imagine how I'd feel without it!! I really am feeling like a fat pig that can't stay off the toilet!! I am going to the dr. on Oct. 14 to get more of my prescriptions. I can't afford to have another colonoscopy--I hope he doesn't want to schedule one. The last time it was $700.00 out of pocket, that was WITH insurance!! My DH has sent off for some kind of natural healing book that we read about in the mail. At this point, I'll try anything.

I am so sorry you are having such a rough time. One problem is bad enough, but when they pile up................bummer!!!!

My dad is an herbalist and knows just about every natural remedy there is. I'll talk to him tonight and see if I can give you some ideas that may help your stomach.

I know how hard it is to relax when money troubles come along, but try to do some meditation and affirmations. That always helps me relax and be able to see things in the proper perspective.

Most of all, take care of yourself! Easier said than done, I know;
but try!

Shelley - I wish I had solid proof of who stole my money. My school is HUGE on "you have to be able to testify to it in court" because we have so many parents who are looking for a quick buck and will sue rather than go out and get a damn job. An example: Last year, one of the pre-K teacher's aides put masking tape over the mouths of two children who wouldn't be quiet. (The teacher had stepped out of the room to converse with a parent in the hall.) Now, of course, what the aide did was COMPLETELY wrong, and she was fired immediately. Now, however, one of the parents is suing (sueing?) the school district for 30 MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!!

Shelley my heart goes out to you. I wasn't aware that you were dealing with depression. Make sure when you see the dr in ocober you let him know how you are feeling.....maybe you need an increase in meds or a different type. If there is something I can do for you please just ask.
We are so fortunate in canada we don't have to pay to see the specialisdt or dr's and almost everything in medical tests are payed for. The only thing that we have to pay a portion of (20%) is our medication.
Your mileage is great specially since you jogged it. WTG!!!!

My weigh-in Monday: 174!! Down 2 lbs. from last week!!! Since July 29th, I have lost 9 lbs!!!!! I still have a lot to go....but I'm slowly getting there!!!!

Oh lordy, i know how you feel!! Every time i'm anxious or worrying, my stomach goes to pot!! Call your doctor. and don't try and herbal stuff if you are still taking prozac. Sometimes that stuff doesn't mix well. Sounds like you might need an antianxiety med---something like low dose xanax. I took it for a while when i was having anxiety attacks and it really helped without making me feel drugged out. Please take care!!

Hey everybody else!! Well, i have to put walking on hold this week. You know how they say your dog takes on the personality of it's owner??? Well, i'm a spazmastic cluzt and so is Max!! So, he tripped over a hose and sprained his knee. We had to go to the vet today which was a trip in itself. The vet told me he cannot run and play for a week. That's like telling a small child not to play!! So, he is stuck up under me for a week. Of course he is loving it, but there is dog hair flying everywhere!!

Soo, i will try and ride the stationary bike, tomorrow. I'm too tired today!! Lugging that dog around!!----later girls--debyj

Just wanted to let you know that I cleanned up the albums and labeled the pics so you would know what everything is. Go to album 1 then after you have seen that one look to the left hand side of the page and go to Gecko's grill. For some reason when I cleanned up the albums and renamed it the #2 album doesn't work unless you go to the side.Hope you enjoy it. We sure had fun planning and building our paradise.
