I had a wonderful day today: upon waking, I felt impressed that today was the day that I should brave my scale again and I got a wonderful surprise: I have finally hit the 200's after 18+ years!!!

I know my boss would just tell me to make a quick Timmies run but I don't want to go outside. So I'll have to settle for water with a crystal light.

I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I've been working for some time now for a Canadian production company from my little computer on the other side of Lake Erie and now it looks like we will finally be able to make our big move up to Nova Scotia this fall!
I am trying to use that as my motivation to get this weight off!
TO CANADA ~ IRISH SARAH ~ well, you are almost living in our country and hope to be citizens soon ... so that's A-OK with us. Actually, anyone can post in any thread here -- we are glad you have dropped by for a visit and hope you do so again ...
did peak out and melt it as it fell so we don't have any now. My tiny yellow and purple crocuses have been blooming for the last 4 days or so; but the cold weather hasn't hurt them -- so glad for that.
sun is shining, a small spring breeze that isn't too cold, or hot. I love this weather! No flowers here yet, but I did notice today that grass is now almost half green half brown
hehe
HI THERE ~ we had lovely
for the last two days. We bought a nice lunch and went to a favorite lake and had a lovely little picnic today -- it was so nice with the sun reflecting off the water (now that the ice has finally melted). Supposed to have sunshine all weekend so will find some nice outdoorsy stuff to do ... fun, fun, fun!
TO ATHENE & AMY ~ we do have others from Alberta and BC on this thread; they will drop by sometime soon, I'm sure. We do have one or two ladies on this site from Montreal, but haven't seen them around lately, but you never know, they may surprise us with a visit too!
Glad both you ladies found our thread; come back often, we do indeed like to make new friends, the more the merrier, I say ...
