I just hope I can celebrate a successful challenge, or rather FOUR successful challenges, here soon.

Daily abs and stretching - 1/21 with 3/3 pauses left I am happy - I had to fast again for my rescheduled bloodwork. Today I packed cereal to eat when I got into my office - no drive throughs! And, even though it was a stressful day (all of them seem to be lately :?:), I ate the lunch I packed. Good choices all around. I am supposed to be at a meeting at church. However, I had a headache roll in that just won't quit, so they will have to do without me. Hello everyone :wave: Quiet right now. Hope everyone is out enjoying summer sun, fresh produce, or whatever trips your trigger (air conditioning and recreational reading here :D). Have a good one. |

Staying on plan so far today. Crazy day, so I have to admit that the food porn is calling. So far, so good. Met my exercise plan and abs/stretching for the day, so as long as I avoid bad beverages, I am all good. Have a good one everyone. |
Almost didn't meet my posting goal - ended up having to tack on a 7 hour coverage shift after my office day. But here I am. Enjoyed the time with the clients, and glad family could take care of my hounds.

Thanks Red. I got to buy myself flowers today, because I lost more than my 2 pound target. Woo hoo. Here's to 18 more days on target.
I have to laugh. When I first heard I had to work last night, I thougt it would be until midnight. My first thought was - crap, now I will have to take a pause on following exercise plan AND posting daily, because I won't get home in time!! Have a good day all :wave: |

jolly, you say you're not doing good, but you are on your challenges, aren't you? I hope the other stuff gets better....Although I'm stil not wanting to drink, smoke or eat sugar, I don't really feel like making them a challenge. It's just before my birthday as well.
Still, I may come up with some other challenges. It's about time. The new thread I will try to get up soon. :wave: |
Thanks REd. I am on my challenges, but that still leaves a world of choices to make, and I am not necessarily choosing healthy. Self medicating my stress again. Not good.

Hey anyone :wave: I got my lab results back. Despite my obesity and family history, I have dodged diabetes yet again. My cholesterol isn't even that far out of wack - need to get triglicerides down a titch and the good cholesterol up a titch. My sodium was even a tad low. My doctor said that was typical for a fasting blood sugar, but with the amount of salt I eat?? I would have a salt block on my desk if I could. :?: I do have some high markers for RA, so have to go in for that. Fascinating. Good night all. |
Thanks, diyana, thanks, jolly. The birthday is on Sunday. I'm not doing too well with anything these days again, but I know it's just a matter of cracking down again...jolly, you're doing great! Don't poo-poo your challenges because the other things aren't so rosy. Actually, me too...I am not doing all that bad and I DO see more, am more aware of things than before. Glad to hear the health is in pretty good shape too, jolly. :yes:
