Day 1 Results
Level 2 Challenge:
No Fast Food Walk 2 miles each day Completed Day 1 and am into Day 2 :) Mary |
Hello, everyone. Keep it up! I should be back soon.
|
My sinus infection has moved down to my lungs, and I can barely breathe. Luckily, I have antibiotics and inhalers, but I think I'll be missing Zumba for the next few days until this crud clears out. I would've called in sick today so I could stay home and rest...but I have an important meeting at 1 pm. I'm going to leave right afterwards though. My boss just offered to cover for me at the meeting...but I'm already here...so I might as well try and attend. After the meeting though...it's home and to bed for this chick (formerly known as Zumba :queen:).

I'm leaving for a short vacation tomorrow, so I'm afraid I will have to drop my staying OP challenge because I'm sure it will be impossible for me to stay OP while on vacay. Besides, I'm only on day 14, and 2 pause days taken already.
Will have to restart when I get back. |
Hi all. My post got eaten last night. I am travelling for work, and the wifi was acting funky.
Day 11 no soda, 2 pauses left. Day 10 no frappes, 1 pause left. I needed both yesterday for long pre dawn drive, just to keep from drifting into other lanes. Then was tired today after two long days trainiing. Bad girl. Been making ok choices otherwise. Getting workouts in, and even got a post work bike ride in last night. I am having a good time, but miss my dogs, my bed, and my new boxing bag. Splurged, hoping I can feature annoying people on that, instead of eating my frustrations. Michelle, hope you feel better soon. Yorkie, have a good vaca. Hope you are going somewhere fabulous. Everyone else, hope things are going well on your journeys. Keep up thegreat work. |
I've been really busy these last few days and forgot to update!
Level 3: Exercise 60min everyday | 2/21 | 2/3 pause left Level 1: 20 minutes with my hedgehog everyday | 2/21 | 1/1 pause left It turns out my hedgehog fractured his femur in a really odd place (right above the joint) and so the vet is not sure what to do. We might have to just let it grow back on its own, though if we do, it'll always be a little crooked and he's going to lose some function in that leg. I've been somewhat depressed because of all of this. I've had him since he was just 8 weeks old and he's my little baby. Fortunately, he seems to be taking it much better than I am. He's been crawling around on the three working legs nonstop. |
Ok, looks like I will give this a shot! Though I wonder how far I can make it.
Level 3 - Drink only water Level 3 - Burn 500 calories every day Level 2 - Find something to love about myself Level 1 - Write in journal |
Stayed home sick from work yesterday and probably should have today. Can't wait 'till I get to feeling better so I can exercise.
Hope everyone is doing great on your challenges. |
Hello everyone. Things are hopping in here, I see. I hav been knocked flat with what seems like the flu for the past few days. Today, I feel better and am able to get out for a little walk. I haven't had anything like this before or at least not in a long, long time. It came on like a bat out of ****. Severe cold symptoms and then a headache that wouldn't go away and hurt to just cough or sniffle or anything. It was horrible.
I cut out alcohol, cigs and SUGAR so am wondering if it's not some kind of detox symptom. Whatever, it is horrible. I will call these challenges as soon as I feel better enough to feel I am in control of them not vice versa. ;) Later all! |
Red - I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling lousy too. The headache might be detox...but the rest of it may be a cold. Get lots of rest and fluids (of the non-alcoholic, non-sugar variety). That's what I'm doing and it seems to be helping clear out my lung crud.
Since it's a long holiday weekend here in the States, I'm not going to commit to perfection...but I will commit to moving as much as my lungs allow, drinking plenty of water, and making the healthiest possible food choices. I'll start my official challenges on Monday or Tuesday. I REALLY need to get back with regular exercise and counting WW points so that I can take off the pounds I gained while on vacay and being sick. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and for those in the States...wishing you a happy and safe 4th of July weekend. |

Well, I'm still feeling pretty bad and unlike anything I've felt before. It's either that I haven't had this before or I just don't remember it...one of the drawbacks to not getting sick very often. Detox or a cold or the flu or who knows what, whatever it is, it is, and I'll just have to deal with it. In any case, I'm determined to get off sugar again. It's no good for me and is the main reason I crave it. When I go off sugar, I am in far, far better health. It's been nearly a week now for the big three. I don't think I've done them all together for a long time.
So here's my stealth. No alcohol Day 6 completed No cigarettes Day 6 completed No sugar Day 6 completed Will try to get back in the swing of things here soon...right now, it's all I can do to drag myself in here. :^: |
ONE WEEK CLEAN!!! :dancer:
No sugar 7 days done No booze 7 days done No cigs 7 days done!! And, I feel pretty sick, but definitely better! diyana, jolly, girlie, all you newbies! Hello! |
Hi all  Dispite evrything, I managed to lose some weight this week. Definitely got off track with everything this week. Trying hard to get back to my happy place.
So: Day 1 - no soda and no frappes. Level 2 Day 1 - eat 5 servings of fruits/veggies. Level 3 Wish me well. I need to balance checkbook, and get to the gym. Have a good weekend all, feel better those that need it, and here's to hedgehog healing. |
Congrats, jolly! And best of luck!! :goodluck:
I got to change my weight as well. New low!! Being sick and not feeling like eating much helps. Also, I'm determined not to offset my not eating sugar with calorie-dense things. Sweet cravings are to be staved with fruit. Last night I went out and bought some but ended up not eating it. Have to learn that not eating so much is simply the way I'm going to have to be in order to lose weight. Maintaining can be easier but losing has to be tough. Deal with it! |
