Good Morning, Flowers! It's cloudy and cool here. It was 55 degrees earlier but has warmed up to 69 -- supposed to have sunshine and hit 80 this afternoon. I could easily take a nap right about now. We didn't get home until late (for us) last night. Not as many people came to the reunion as said they would, but we did have a good time. I knew pretty much everyone or at least recognized faces.

Maggie -- I'm glad your headache is gone. Headaches make me nervous since I rarely have one. It sounds like you had a delicious steak. It's nice to have some new people attend church -- new ideas, etc.

"Gma" -- Actually the weather cooperated nicely yesterday. It was cloudy and cool when we left home so dressed in jeans and took jackets along. By the time we got to our cabin the sun had come out, but it was just a nice temperature. We took the boat out and showed Bob's secretary some of the fancy homes and boats around the area. On the weekends most of the boats are in the hoists; I assume they must "play" during the week when the tourists aren't around. The reunion picnic was in a very nice wooded area with the cleanest restrooms I have ever seen in a park. When the sun went down it was time for jackets; we helped gather food items by car headlights.

Susan -- I hope you are feeling better today. Rest and love Cupid; I'll bet he missed you.

I need to do some serious cleaning today! A light bulb burned out in the bathroom and there was enough dust on it to plant a flower! I may get a call to help staple packets at Bob's office today; that would be more fun than cleaning!

I need to get busy! Hope you all have a nice day.

Good morning all! We are supposed to have showers possibly but nothing yet so I am going to try and go and get a swim in again today if I can. I try to do 3 hours a week. My muscles were yelling at me yesterday when I was through, but it is good for them.

Jean: It is always nice to go somewhere and find clean facilities. Glad you had a nice time at both events. I see it is already getting cooler in your area. We are still heating up to the low 90's midday so that keeps the pool decently temped, not too hot not too cool. It is completely shaded pretty much so it never gets really uncomfortably warm like the condo pool does as it is in total sun. I see they still have the cover off, which is ridiculous when no one can swim. I haven't been over there for a couple weekends to check out and see if they opened it up, but there has been no noise and we are right across the walkway from it. I find places with cobwebs or such all the time. It drives me nuts, but not much you can do about it unless you are superwoman. I keep up with it the best I can.

I have gotten into the habit after my morning chores are done watching old movies on tv. Yesterday must have been Jennifer Jone's birthday because she was in a ton of them one right after the other. Two of the films I had seen and then I watched one about Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Her father was a real tyrant and sort of unnaturally fond of his dd. It was a great movie and gave me some insight into what her life was life before she married Robert Browning.

Well, better get back to things and get them done. Have a great Tuesday and hope your day goes well.

Good Morning, Flowers! It was 50 degrees this morning! BRRRRR! The sun is shining brightly and there is just a slight breeze; it looks like it is going to be another nice day. Tonight is Bob's annual meeting and I will go along for the first time in many years. We have a meal, a short meeting to vote on officers for next year, and a singing/acting/comedy entertainment group that is really good. Otherwise my plan for the day is to sort through some more piles and do some more laundry. I think I need to make a schedule as it seems like I start in one room/project and never seem to finish that project before starting another. I'm terrible at that!

"Gma" -- It is really too bad you can't use your own pool! I still think you should raise a stink after having to pay maintenance fees and the pool is definitely part of that! Every once in awhile I will run across a movie that has just started and will watch it. More often than not though, it's in the middle and I never get to see the whole thing. I don't remember the movie but Bob has watched bits and pieces of it at different times, but never the whole movie from start to finish. To me that would be like reading a book backwards.

I need to get busy and at least vacuum the fur/dust bunnies. Have a great day!

Good morning, ladies! A lovely day in the 80s today.

I feeling some better but still have a ways to go. I'm just so tired of sitting/laying around the house. I haven't felt like quilting or reading so I know I need the rest.

Have a good day.
