Thank you ladies for your condolences!

Welcome Nella!

I have been unable to get back on the wagon since returning from Maine at least when it comes to food. I went to salsa tonight at the very least and got a little exercise in but I still feel really behind though I'm sure to be making up for it when I'm moving all my crap over the next few days. I'm very overwhelmed with all these changes. I just can't wait for things to settle down a bit more so I can get back into the groove of everything.

I am in the same boat as u, gymlee! After the finals, it's been hard ot get back on track - on top of that, my parents are coming to visit == eating out, cooking elaborate meals etc + little to no time for exercise!

Aah well, sooN!

Hi! I'm a total shorty and hoping to join your group.

Loved the date story, esp. the peeling out part. Hysterical!

welcome mb3!

How is everyone doing? I was visiting BF's family and as I said before, no matter what, if I am with them, I gain 3-5 pounds every time. Unfortunately I gained a lot this time and it is right before my vacation- i am going this week for a week, so I won't be around but now I have to be wearing a bikini at my heaviest the whole summer!!! Ugh... now I have about 17-18 pounds to lose.

Hi! I'm whit 5'1 hoping to start my journey soon.

Now I have 6 weeks to go... I have been taking care of myself like never before.

I was in the middle of my journey when I found out that I was preg, I did not want my 20 pounds lose to be a waste ... so I keep writing down everything I ate and keep exercise.

So here I am almost ready to join again......

Congrats on the baby!!! I'm jealous.

You will probably lose the weight so quickly once the baby comes too.

How exciting!

Congrats on the baby!

I hope everyone is doing well. I skipped my workout yesterday to have family board game night and go to school open house for the kids. Yay for school starting again!!

I've been sticking with my diet/ exercise regime for 3 weeks. I think I might try South Beach to really get me going though. I get so discouraged eating better and killing myself working out and not seeing that scale going down. I want instant gratification, lol. I think if I could see 10 or 15 pounds gone, I will feel like I am getting somewhere.

My DH told me the other day that his 20 year high school reunion is in November and he RSVP'd that we would be going, so now I really have motivation to get the pounds off quickly. I've never met any of his HS friends. Plus he's 10 years older than me, so I want to be his "trophy wife" when we show up, hehe

Hello again ladies! I'm sorry that I've seemingly dropped off the face off the earth. I was lurking reading what was here but never writing anything. I decided today that I would though. I'm all settled in my new place but I've been struggling with other changes in my life and trying to make decisions that I've been unable to get back on track. I'm really struggling with recommitting myself to the process since for me it's all about the mindset to really make this work. I'm determined though to work through this rough patch and get back on track. I know I will soon.

How is everyone else doing?

Nella: hahaha good luck! I'm sure you'll be in awesome shape by November!

Gymlee: welcoem back! I've been lurking too... i'm moving this weekend, so it's been a bit busy. The plan is once i'm settled in, to start the diet part again!
