Beaka - IDT Miss Coco is vegan but phase 1 of fat smash has no meat it in it... my WI went for any week except today. I lost 2 POUNDS which is great! But I am POINT 6 away from my 50 lbs!!!!! I know I will have los that by the weekend but i wanted my 50 LB coin last night ....*whine, whine* I still didn't get a chance to check out your pics cause I didn't even open the laptop last night. But I didn't forget and as I soon as I do I will be reporting back LOL
MissCoco - I LOVED zumba....but I LOVE to dance! But I take it at the gym, I didn't know there was a freaking DVD....I want that! WHere are you getting it? Matilda - The elliptical is absolutely my favorite equipment after TM (you know cause I run) Has anyone ever heard of Ardyss. I was invited to a "party" ( I guess they are high-priced girdles) I want to support my friend, but uhm I am losing to weight to NOT wear a girdle, shaper whatever you want to call it. I haven't worn one in at LEAST 30lbs. Anyone know anythign about them, she kept pushing that they are supposed to help you lose belly fat permamnently due to sweating or your muscles workign or something IDK. I just know you can't spot reduce, so it seems wierd, AND she work as much I do if not more so she should know that too, unless they really do work????? |
CAKE: I say don't waste your money. There was some hype about them in Atlanta and they were on CNN. Wearing them on the regular can mess up your core muscles because they stop having to work. http://www.cnn.com/2009/LIVING/09/01/body.magic/
And I am so proud of you!!! We'll all be celebrating with you when you get that 50 lb coin :) Sooo... I went to work today and only lasted a few hours. I'm home sick again and I plan to get some rest this weekend. |

I can't believe you are still working out through it. Yes she an ani-mal.....animal thug actually (hehe haven't heard that one in a while) So for me I haven't worked out in two days. Rest days is all. I will be back in there this afternoon when I leave work. After I woekout I am going to jump on this scale and see if I lost point 6 hehehe. Oh I am so proud of myself cause I cooked on a FRIDAY NIGHT, therefore I did not have to go over my points....so take that DOMINO's. I am cooking pepper steak tonight. I made beef and broccoli last night! :D |

So after three days of cool, rainy bliss, the Texas heat is back on full force. :dz: It was good while it lasted, I guess. I'm dealing with a super headache today, a sugary caffiene (sp?) withdrawal syptom (god, I can't even spell today!). How's everyone doing? |

Cake- Animal Thuggin! I love it! So glad you resurrected that phrase! :D I did made the decision to take a break on the Shred today. Yesterday I was too high on cough syrup to realize I needed to sit down somewhere. And good job with the cooking! JasonsLea- It's been raining here too. I've been staying in all weekend. I'm feeling better today. Made some soup and have been laid on the couch watching TV. This experience has reminded why I gotta get a man. I can't die sick and alone. :p |
I lost 50 pounds ya'll i weigh 165!!! :D Ooooow! :carrot::carrot: i can't change my ticker till Thursday though ya'll know the deal....when I get my coin. Okay so Pepper Steak was a hit. that was most definitely a new recipe for me and I WILL be making that again.

So... for the past few days I've been using being sick as an excuse to sit on the couch and eat junk. I feel like such a fatty right now. I don't even know if I want to weigh in in the morning. Feel free to :rollpin: and :kickbutt:.

Yea but once you admit it (like out loud to us) you get back on plan. sometimes I feel like if no one knows about it the calories won't count...haha. anyway that's just me. I didn't do so hot yesterday....I went like 8 points over projected...anyway I ran 8 miles saturday and I aiming for 9 or 10 today...i SHOULD be okay

Good afternoon ladies. I'm so glad I found this thread. What's so funny is the other day as I was looking at the posts I thought to myself Hmmmm I don't see any african american faces. The only one I saw in the last week was MAtilda08.
This thread is definitely burried I had to bookmark it to find it again. When I looked under support groups I still couldn't find it againl Anyway I'm just getting started on this journey. But I have a few obstacles. I have arthritis in my knees and I have a problem with my feet. So basically I ache. The past 3 days I did some walking 15 - 20 minutes and that hurt my knees but I pushed thru. Now ladies, I need a kick here ...... I need /should take water aerobics which would be best for me. I live 10 minutes from the YMCA which has the classes. Couple of issues the time for the easiest class is 9am......when like most people in the world I'm at work. The hardest class is at 7pm.......dinner time. But the biggest issue is............MY HAIR now you know we don't like to get our hair wet. It doesn't just bounde right back. you know the deal. I'm going to wait until the weather gets colder before I think about joining the YMCA I'm going to try and walk and I also did a couple of videos on EXERCISE ON DEMAND. IF you have that on your television you should definitely give it a try. Okay now the stats 5' 8" 255 lbs age 53: Okay I'm ready for my kick. I might even take some pictures. LOL |

sooo i have been apartment hunting and i found the perfect place and was approved today so i officially am a resident of st. louis again as of oct 7. the apartment is newly remodeled and everything is brand new. and i love it i cant wait to be living ALONE. roommates and parents are overrated. that being said ive once again been ripping up and down the road to stl and am mildly on plan. i have a pretty bad inner ear infection and TOM is here so im craving lots of comfort food but trying to resist. im going to try to get to the gym at least 3x this week but i wont lie WL is at the bottom of my priority list until i get settled. still i want to be down from where i am by new years so im trying not to stray too far. 2feelbetter :wel3fc: this is a wonderful and supportive group and i hope you stick around with us! matilda08 - girl we all fall but you gotta get back up and keep going. thats what im going to do as soon as im settled in. here's some :dust: for you and me! ashlan - :bravo: YAYYYY! alright girl! i'm going to need a :mag: to see you if you keep on! im soo proud of you and so happy for you and i want u to know yr a role model! you have stuck to the fight and i know it feels good! beaka- get up and put the junk food away! and i will too...promise! |
Junk food is my middle name. I have very little will power. I took 1/2 sandwich to work 1 apple and water. What did I do. Came home at 3:30 are scarfed down. cookies & chips. My husband was eating some ravoli and I ate 2 of those:stress:
