Good morning..
Sassy- as I was reading your post, I looked at my clock and it is 6am here now...'course you are probably asleep by now. Yeah - we
all want flabby abs, don't we...silly man, lol! I just saw a new book at Costco called Don't Eat That, Eat This...or something like that. It shows pictures of stuff like the sundae and it's calories, then pairs it with something more healthy and less caloric so you know a better choice to make. I like the pictures...that's very helpful. My eye opener was looking up a Shari's menu online after I had eaten there..yikes! There are hardly any meals under 1000 calories! Next time I look at the menu
before I go to Shari's !
Francie - orange hair? I'm glad I never tried this at home. I have reddish tones to my hair and blonde highlights have never really looked great on me. Also..I'm too lazy for the maintenance so it looks cheap pretty quickly. So...no blonde for me I'm afraid. Well, maybe when I have way more gray and my hair color is changing anyway. WTG on all that exercise! I did a circuit training at my meeting this week and my arms are sore! Guess that means I need to do more of it, right?
Mindee - sorry the insurance issue has rared its ugly head...I'm sending some good thoughts your ways so that Brandon can get his tubes. My DD is going to see an ENT soon ...had an allergist tell me yesterday he thinks she might need her adenoids removed

That was something I hadn't even thought of as a problem! I guess we'll see what the ENT says.
Susan- Did you make it to Cinco de Mayo? I'm glad you giving McD another chance; he sounds like a nice guy. WTG on your losses.. Watch out for that cheesebread
Cristina - I spent yesterday morning adding a bunch of books to my goodreads list...so sorry if you get an email with a ton o' books on it, lol! I like looking at your list...(Francie's, too you and I have some books in common as well) My TOM came after over a week late and I was so crampy and miserable all I wanted to do was drink tea and look for books online. So I did.
Hi Jules and Sue! Hope you both are having a good day so far.
The allergist confirmed that L has allergies to dust, pollen, mold, and late-blooming trees. All of which aggravate her asthma, of course. Fortunately we really don't have to change too much from what we've been doing...need to get her on claritin, for sure. I also need to get some dust covers for her mattress and work on keeping the dust to a minimum in the house. She did get a more effective prescription for her inhalers.
On a brighter note, I signed up for a spinning class! As in making yarn, not exercise. It's something I've wanted to learn to do for a while, and our Art center offers a day long class for beginners, so I am taking the plunge. Between that, knitting, l's dr. appointments, working in the yard, J's track, and trying to keep the house clean and food in the fridge, that's all that's going on here, lol!
