Definitely no snow around here. It actually got almost hot yesterday. Today it is a strange combination of overcast, relatively cool, but muggy feeling. :shrug:

As I said before the melt-down . . . wish I still lived in Kitchener. Stratford beside the river is gorgeous this time of year.

:wave: Did someone have snow at the end of May beside us? I even got some pics that snow we had too! When I get them downloaded, you can see the snow we got when we shoulda had rain! But the last two days we had very hot weather, so we just stayed home in the comfy of our air conditioner: now, how's that for ironic?

Yeppers, the snow is gone; now we just have to battle the black flies and skitters ~ LOL! Help ... we're getting eatin' alive up here!!!

So far, we are having a gorgeous morning with sunshine at a predicted high in the mid-20's. although it does still seem a little muggy -- but all in all I appreciate the fact that places west of here are keeping the really hot stuff to themselves so far. :lol:

Hey gang! Love the thunger storms last night and this am. Wished for alittle more BOOM! But at least it cut the humidity for now. Getting house work done before the next wave starts!

Struggling to stay OP but TOM was a monster this month. And I blew it over the last few evenings. Gotta stay strong!

:wave: we had rain all day today to cool things off so we just stayed indoors. It seems what we get eventually travels eastwards ... so sorry! DH says that all these weather changes just keep us on our toes ~ LOL!

Well . . . the second morning for northern Nova Scotia and it's sunny as can be right now . . . when I first got up things were looking extremely different and then we had a violent cell of thunder storms come barrelling through around 8 am and that seems to have changed everything, for the better. :lo::

How's everyone doing? Enjoying this lovely, sunny, humid weather we've been having? I wish it could be summer all year round. Maybe when I retire I'll buy a little straw hut in the Caribbean. :cool:

I've been doing great, still truckin along... down to 240 lbs now, 13 lbs total since April 4th (8" lost as well) I'm like the tortoise... slow and steady.... LOL

I had my birthday yesterday and went out to dinner and stuffed myself. Man it felt good to taste cake again :) I even managed to have a martini while I was out, been so long that I was drunk off 2 sips of it. :dizzy:

Anyway, gotta go attempt to get my son settled down for the night... I'll check back in later to see what's new.

Another cool but sunny day, even though it is Friday the 13th. :lol: No big plans for me other than feeling sorry for myself because both the weight and the blood sugar took an upward blip this morning. This too will pass. :lol:
