:wave: HI THERE ~ well, we woke up to more *** SNOW *** this morning which quickly melted when the sun came out; I did get some laundry done, but it kept snowing (however lightly) all day, so put the last load in the hydro sapper instead ~ LOL! The temps kept going all over the place, but spring will have to get here eventually, right?

Another beautiful sunny day here but we're supposed to get rain later on this afternoon, but it may not come til this evening. Rosebud, I can't believe you've got snow in Ontario, that's only supposed to happen in Newfoundland! We've had snow in June some years. (Of course it's only fleeting and doesn't remain.)

I'm waiting for the public health nurse to come for a visit to see mom. She said she'd be here today or Friday to give her the B12 shot. That means I have to be around until she shows up. I wasn't going to walk outside today but I wanted to start my circuit workout inside. Of course as soon as I start the nurse will show up. She won't come after dinner so maybe I'll put it off until after that.

We had another very cold and rainy day; not quite cold enough for snow, but very close . . . I love Spring . . . hope we actually get to see some soon. :lol:

Spent the whole day out and about doing a lot of expensive shopping stuff. Started out really early because I wanted to get in the line for Wii Fit -- don't know what happened after that; just one of those days. :shrug: Hopefully tomorrow I'll actually get the Wii Fit out of the box.

I am picking up WII fit this weekend. But here is the funny thing the machine does not work on our oooold TV. But we are saving for a new TV in the next month or so. But if I wait till then to get it they will be sold out!

Its still cold here, but at least we have some sun peaking thru the clouds.

Do you already have the Wii Console? Wii Fit is just an add-on game with a special floor pad/scale-like apparatus.

ya "the machine" is what I refer to as the console. Between the kids nintendo ds, dh xbox and the WII...its just to much for me as the "arcade game" ignorant one of the family. DH was thrilled to hear of my interest in the WII fit and argues that he won the debate of whether or not we should buy one. But hey if it were not for "fit" the store would have had one more console on the shelf!

Wow . . . I'm surprised the Wii won't work since the other systems do . . . guess it's just newer technology. Well -- when you do get the new TV don't forget to make it digital and flat panel; they are just a delight. My LCD one is in the sunroom (windows on three sides; most expansive on the southern exposure) and absolutely no glare even on the brightest day.

Its still raining here, going on 4 1/2 days now, KARAZY for us, we never get this much rain....at least my son is picking a lot of worms to go in my garden and compost..lol...we went for a walk today too, just threw a big blanket over the stroller and did it, going stir crazy in the house!! At least with snow, there is lots to do out there!

Julia-Maybe you can get an adapter for your wii- we have an old tv too, and we got an adapter for our 'super' nintendo so we could hook it up, but not sure about the wii one.

Hi Karla, I live in central Newfoundland. Newfoundlanders are quite the migrant lot.

Nah hubby has xbox hooked up to a small tv in our room that is newer. But there is no room to exercise in there. And it would be nice to have a tv that does not take up so much space...then I can get rid of the big hutch it is in that also take up lots of space.

The Meltdown
 

If you tried to check in today, you saw that the server was down. It crashed at 1:40 am. When Suzanne 3FC tried to restore it from the backup, she discovered that the daily backup was corrupted and unusable. Unfortunately, last night was the night when the weekly backup ran too, so its database was also corrupted and unusable.

So we're back, restored to May 22, the date of the last monthly backup. Everything posted since then is lost, I'm sorry to say.

Feel free to repost any threads, questions.

Things seem nice and stable around 3FC this morning; but I did notice that the tickers re-set themselves back to the May 23 level along with everything else -- so you may need to update yours -- I know I did. :yes:

Beautiful day in northern Nova Scotia yesterday, definitely not too hot since the temperature never got above 20. I spent most of the day at the car doctor doing the annual checkup stuff (including new rear brakes and pads). Today, no sun so far and some of the Ontario/Quebec heat and humidity is starting to seep theis way. I've got errands to run so I honestly don't care much if the sun comes out later or not. :shrug:
