caffeine free mountain dew

That almost sounds like sugar free chocolate as in what's the point -

Seriously tho, I've seen Diet Mountain Dew but don't recall seeing the caffeine free stuff. Althought I think the new diet mantra is "don't drink your calories" since I seem to hear that everywhere I turn. Except how does work for keeping up on the dairy - low fat milk is as many points as a Coca Cola
I'm with Rennie that no one is getting me into a dark pit. I shiver just to think of it. I didn't even like the hallway in the hotel. It was long and narrow and creepy looking if you thought long enough about it.
Just keep doing what you're doing Rennie - it works well for you. Glad you are resting the knee a bit - don't want to do something to take yourself out of the game for a week or two.
Holly - where do I send the money for Ruth's stud muffin?

I think I have at least 7 dollars in Canadian money up in a drawer somewhere in the house.
Mel, I am thrilled to hear that you have found a doctor who cares about getting you well and keeping you there. You can be WELL MEL

Come take my hand sister and commit with me to making this the year we take care of us. Ok?
Ceejay - good for you for getting in the pits. Ick - could NOT do that. Even if tornadoes were charging down the street

I think you have a bit more variation with WW over Best Life. Of course if you don't plan properly you can slip too many treats into the WW plan - guess it depends on how disciplined you are. I find once I start logging on a regular basis, I'm more hesitant to eat the bad stuff, although weekends are my downfall with erratic schedules and eating out. There was a dreadful line of storms this morning that stretched clear across the country. I caught it on the way to work and had to pull over at one point because it was raining so hard and flash flooding that I couldn't see out the window. Of course the crazies are driving 50 mph with no lights on.

The sinus headaches seemed to pass as the weather cleared up.
Shad - good question you asked about how many steps in a mile. I can't seem to find the answer to that. Nearest I come is that it's the same amount of walking steps (approximately 2,000 based on the length of your stride). However, s.Stair climbing burns even more calories than regular walking, so you might consider this a turbo activity - and that is supported by the calories expended charts. Not quite sure that just a 1 level aerobic step would be the same as a flight of stairs. We just have to get you working in a multi-level office building when you get back home. And thank you for the support
Carla - I spent some considerable time yesterday trying to find exercises online for the rebounder. Just about all of the Google hits are advertising videos to buy but I did see a few short clips on You Tube which gave me some ideas. I thought you just jumped on the thing but there's way more you can do. And apparently it's wonderful for cleaning out the sludge in the lymphatic system. Thanks for bringing it up

OMG WOMAN

you're one of those illegal shutdown peeps.

DON'T BE DOING THAT!!!!!! As you found out, you can mess things up big time. Windows is better at handling that but still, it's like punching yourself in the belly 10 times randomly throughout the day.

And a 90 minute spin class?

Wowie Kazoweee - am torn between who I'm more in awe of at the moment - you spinning for an hour and a half or Ceejay in the pit. **bows to you both** No wonder that's such a good fat burner. Kinda makes bouncing on the rebounder kind of a "weenie" task, does it?
As for other exercises Rennie, are you doing weights already? You don't even need dumbells at first - filled water bottles, good size soup cans will work. Tell Wolfie to buy you a resistance ball as there all all sorts of exercises you can do on that one - particularly working on the center "core". Pilates will also give you a good workout while you're resting the hamstring. There's lots of online places that give free exercises Shape.com, ***********.com - just some suggestions.
Well ok, I just jumped on the bandwagon when "Well Mel" - (tho I think I like Swell Mel better tho - not to imply you are bloated or anything

) got so excited about Ruth's birthday. I thought it was yesterday also tho truth be told all I really remember is her saying how she liked being 69.
Are you SURE you want to join up with this lot Annie? We WILL corrupt you
Good stuff in that questions document Painter, thanks again for sharing it. Don't be such a stranger woman, y'all hear?
Ok, one more day in the office - best get it over and done with. Have a good Friday chickees.
