Congrats on passing the written though that is an accomplish completed
Since passing the written can you at least get a permit that allows you to ride on your own bike as long as you are with a licensed driver on their bike?
Let us know if you get into another class?
I am going to be very busy this week my new store opens on Thursday so starting tomorrow we start stocking shelves, all the vendors will come in tuesday and wednesday like pop, beer, Frito, Bread, Novelty stuff so I will try to log in sometime but may not be daily this week.
Have a great week though!!
Reda Reda, thank you for the encouragement. I might be going down there again as a standby this Friday. Hopefully I'll be able to get in. My friend says that I should do it as soon as possible while it's still fresh in mind so I may just go ahead and do it all over again. Blah! Going through that book was putting me to sleep!
Also, I'm so excited for you! It would be a dream of mine to have my own business. I'm wishing you the best!!!
Hey Gina! Well, I have to use their crappy bikes. And it's so frustrating too. When I let up off the clutch I want to just go...it takes forever and if I let up too much the darn bike cuts off...bleh. My bike was the worst because the breaks squeaked so loud and we had to use the same bike the whole time. Not being sure of myself is what made me fail and my coach said that. Both of them said I progressed a lot and now I know that I really want to ride. Some people try things out and find that it isn't for them and riding is totally for me. I won't give up. Thank you for the encouragement!
As far as sliding back into bad habits...I did that a week ago when I was in D.C. I was around food I hadn't eaten in a while and I just went for it. I blamed it on the boyfriend because he loves to eat, but the's a solid guy and his weight never fluctuates like me so that's what got me into bad habits. One day I ate over 4,000 calories and probably more the next day. I got back home and I was not happy so I buckled down and went back to my old ways. I basically set myself back, but I think it was worth it cuz I was on vacation so it wasn't that bad...I had gained almost 4lbs. Anyway, just get back to it and look the other way when you come into contact with evil food.

well if a rainy Monday isn't bad enough, how about one that is cloudy, rainy AND spitting snow, bleh!
I was really, really hoping to have nice weather for tomorrow, Veterans Day, because I wanted to ride to a Veterans ceremony in southern Vermont. Don't think that will be possible tomorrow, though.
have a great day chicks!
Hey Holly! Now that I think about it, me being last in line to perform is what threw me off. Had I been in the middle of the line it wouldn't have been so bad. Anyway, I ended up at the end of the line because I talk too much. I had too many questions and trying to seek guidance...never again. I'm just going to listen and do. I learned how to downshift and I'm quite good at it. Thankfully I did learn something. I need to stop second guessing myself and I need to remind myself that I shouldn't break during swerves. I guess I can make believe I'm riding a bike as I am a good biker...it's the same concept right? Thanks for the encouragement!
Oh and I wanted to tell you that I'm down 39lbs. so far and my belly is starting to look like yours...well, not quite but you get what I mean. I've heard so many times before that it's totally impossible to get rid of lower belly fat. Well, mine is shrinking up and the crunches are working. I still have more fat to burn, but I'm getting started on that tonight with adding in more cardio into my fitness plan. You're my "flat abs inspiration".
Hey Michelle! Cool bike!! I want one...if only I could pass the basic riders course!! Bleh! Love your bike.
