good morning chicks! How's your weather been this summer? we didn't have a record-breaking amount of rain for July, but alot higher than usual. I've been caught in the rain so many times now, but it's always a warm rain so not that bad.
What kind of gardens do you have, if you plant? I don't

I bought two big tomato plants in patio pots in June, and they produced lots of green tomatoes right away, and my husband and I were wondering if they were ever going to get some color! and finally two of them are approaching real redness. Yum!
I planted a long window box of morning glories and sweet peas and tacked a jute fishing net on the side of the house for them to climb on. The morning glory vines have done very well, tons of those pretty heart shaped leaves but like only two flowers so far!

The sweet peas have produced about 5 very pretty fragrant flowers.
also planted two pots of nastursiums, I pick them every day and carefully transport them by motorcycle to work, and use them as garnish on dessert plates, they look so very nice.
At work it is very cool also, that I can walk to the little babbling brook just about 100 feet from the kitchen and pick fresh brook mint, which I then wash well, dry and place on dessert plates, and dust with confectioners' sugar. I love my summer job

but it is about to get killer busy for August; for each meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) we already are booked and the numbers each day all month are like 50 or 60 for breakfast (we've been doing like 20) 40 or 50 for lunch (we've been doing like 12!) and 70 or so for dinners.
It's just a real test for professionalism, I think, to be able to step up your production and deal with the increase of flurry/activity from having more waitstaff buzzing around without losing your cool, and keeping a good working personality. At least that is what I strive for. And not to eat the goodies
well I sure hope everyone is doing great

and that we're getting LOTS of riding!
