Wow Painter - all that chocolate on the hoof. Tell me, if you wanted to eat something like that, where would you start?
Just as a matter of interest where would anyone start? Please tell me.
Rennie, welcome to the nut house and wild life refuge centre. And I am only talking about me! I was debating the other day whether it was intro time again or not. We do it every so often - or at least I usually find something weird and wonderful to say about everyone. I won't try it just now since I am supposed to be working. So I will just have to talk about me.
I'm a Kiwi, (New Zealander) who lives in Australia to raise the iq over here. At present I'm living in Perth on the West Coast of the continent. Normally I live in tropical Queensland on the East Coast. I have 2 sons, 31 and 33. One lives in Queensland and the other in South Australia. One repairs crushing machinery and is doing an electrical apprenticeship and the other is in IT and currently changing his job to work in the (no) help desk at the University of SA where he will probably study for another degree at the same time. He holds a pilots licence and speaks Italian. Makes for an interesting resume! The other one is locally known as action man - his time off is spent jet skiing, climbing cliffs and jumping out of perfectly good aeroplanes (however he never tells me about it until he has landed). I work as a workplace trainer. I train in computer programs for large companies, mostly mines and resources. It gives me a good living (although I always whinge about the job when I am doing it) and I get to travel alot. I've just come back from a jaunt around the States and Canada and very nice it was too. I wouldn't mind finding some work over there, but then again I don't have a green card and probably wouldn't win the green card lottery if I applied 10,000,000 times.
Enough about me.
Ruth - do we get to see photos of the lady in the 1812 Overture - uh sorry, the 1811 outfit. Better not make you younger than you are. Glad that you had a good time at the Open Doors project and naturally enough Lucy would be right in there when the food was being handed out. That red pepper puree sounds so good. If they ever come down in price here, I might do the same. I love roasted red peppers - yum meeeeeeee.
450 lunch boxes!!!!

450 boiled egg!!!

Is there enough hens in Delta to provide that many eggs (sorry Happy - aigs!)

I though Doug and Claire had a great place. Please pass on my regards and say g'day to the dog!!!! Lovely people. I'm sure you will be well fed.
Holly - enjoy the party. Glad the Avon is going so well. I've always found with my kids that if I let them know what I expect of them, then they are more likely to conform and be pleasant. Aren't DH's just big kids???
Gotta go and do some work. I'll be back tomorrow. Lemme see if I can attach a piccy of the wildflowers. Just a moment please.
Nah the pictures are too large apparently. I'll try again from webshots.
Okay, I have the photos on Webshots. Someone else will need to find the addy because when I do, you lot can't see them.
Also, one or two of them are sideways on. I can't rotate them unless I have webshots desktop on my computer and the system won't let me download it. But you can just lean over anyway.
