Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been around .. was doing some emergency baby sitting for my little 6yr old Carley - her grandpa was in the hospital and it was touch and go for a while but he is going to be ok - thank heavens. They are very good friends of ours and we were pretty worried!

Not much going on around here -- still doing my Curves 3 times a week and walking every day - did 4 miles today!

Kim: you're doing well on your weight - hope things calm down at work for you (but not too much) ... How did your yard sale go? Hope you made lots and lots of $$$$$ ...

Where is everyone else??? Hope you all are doing well and hope to hear from you all soon - let us know how you are doing!

We are having out of town company coming tomorrow nite for the weekend but I will try to get back in here -- even if it's very very late.

Did I tell you all how much I am enjoying my high speed internet? Don't miss dial-up at all except it took me a week to stop trying to disconnect when I was done .. lol

HEllo again ladies:

boy its been a FAT summer for me. I cant remember the last time that I ate properly. I am sure that it was before the kids went on vacation. Three weeks of not having to cook, so I did not do it, only once did I fire up the BBQ, and I am not even sure that counts as cooking.

Needless to say I have not stepped back on the scales since summer arrived. I have been busier than ever. Since I work at a golf course I took up golfing. Even though I take a cart arount the course I find that I am walking more than ever. I feel much better and I am using a few muscles that I did not know even still worked!!! Golf is not much physical activity but its more than what I have done in years. I am even planning on taking some lessons to help me out. I really like it and hopefully at some point I may join up with the women at the course. My boyfriend and I took part in a golf fun night on Friday night and I won a prize.....for the most putts.....so by losing I won!!! Was I ever excited.....I got a golf ball....which my boyfriend promptly lost next time we were out. Oh well it was free.

I hope to get "back on the wagon" again in short order. I have doctors orders to get in shape and she is giving me only a few months to make some serious changes to my habits. I have to make a good effort and I think this is the place for me.

Hey there Dallas - great to hear from you! Sounds like you are having a great time with the golfing - don't fret about falling off the wagon for the summer - just get yourself back on - YOU CAN DO IT! Especially if it's for health reasons. Hope to hear from you again soon AND with good news that you are back on the diet wagon! CJ
