just popping in to change my ticker after doing 30mins on treadmill.
|
Oops -- I did it again --
-- but at least I do wear underpants when I go out in public.:o Yep, I got into the chocolate again last night. Well I can't do it anymore because I burried the rest deeply in the compost bin, under lots of other crud. Hey, I proved one more time that I cannot handle having chocolate in the house. It's always good to learn from your mistakes . . . right? :^:
Amazingly enough, when I totalled up my calories for the week, the average was within acceptable limits although I certainly could not call the last two days "good" from a nutritional standpoint. And now we come to my WWI . . . the nice little FFM let me get back to my ticker weight . . . and I know there is a downward movement in my future as long as I can just keep my act together. So, all in all, not too bad. :) The sun is still shining around here and it is a couple of degress less cold (almost said warmer; but decided that would not really describe it) than it was yesterday. I've got to go out and pick up some tap washers so I can try to fix my kitchen faucet before I can no longer turn off the hot water -- the tap is almost going around in a circle. I probably should just call the plumber now and put him on a retainer or something; but I keep telling myself I should be able to do something this simple all by myself. :dizzy: I hope, I hope, I hope. Anyway, Chickies . . . hope you all have a great moving and shaking kind of day. If we just keep doing the good stuff as much as we can, we will be rewarded. See you soon. :carrot: |
Well, well, well, ladies....weigh in was yesterday at 6 pm. I'm beaming with joy and pride to announce ::drum roll please:: a 2.4 lb loss for the week!!! YAY YAY YAY!!! TOM hasn't yet got the better of me!!!!!! (YET!) If I don't start pretty soon, I'll be making a trip to the drug store for testing supplies!!! LOL I'm gettin' skeered! (That's redneck for scared!)
I'm at work so not much time for posting...just wanted to share my wonderful news (oh how I wish it were onederful news!!! I guess it time....I never was a patient one!) Have a wonderful day everyone! |
Good morning ladies! Well between now and tomorrow morning we're suppose to be getting close to 15cm of snow not to mention the temps are going to feel like (-) 25 with the windchill. Uhhhhh...I was really wishing for spring, hopefully after this spring can make at least an effort to getting closer. I've so had enough of shoveling and freezing and slipping and did I say shoveling? ;)
My mind has been so preoccupied lately that I haven't given my all to my weight loss. I'm embarassed to say that I haven't exercised seriously in over a week. I haven't grocery shopped for my menus, I've just been flying by the seat of my pants hoping not to gain which in actuallity I've been pretty lucky with maintaining. I feel so bad and I'm looking forward to getting back to a schedule and routine. Now I just have to convince my body it's ready for some hard exercise...hehehe! Liza, girl you're amazing. You're quite inspiring in fact. Quite the exercise junky...LOL! Keep it up girl, you can't go wrong right! Oh Linda, from one choco-holic to another. I feel your anguish. It's a very hard, tough, almost impossible addiction to overcome. Unfortunately I feel that I can't and almost to the point where I say I won't. I keep telling myself that chocolate is good for you, but deep down I know it's only the really dark pure chocolate...bitter in other words that is. But hey, if I can have an ounce of that a day..it's better than none! Hang in there girl! Diana, woo hoo! Congrats! I'm so proud of you, you're really sticking this through. You my dear are quite motivating too. It's great to watch you really in the zone. Have a great day ladies! TTFN! |
Meowee; I found that entry at the beginning of this thread, I'll reproduce it here for you;

RHIANNON . . . . . . Of course, now I remember. I loved that little story the first time I read it . . . sometimes, we get these senior moments at my ripe age. :)
LIZA . . . . . . Yep, my Mother was one of those who always said . . . "Make sure you are wearing clean underwear when you go out because you never know when you might get hit by a bus" See you later, girls . . . :carrot: |
5 minutes intentional exercise done!! Plus all that painting yesterday, I suppose that counts for something too. I finally bought a scale, so now my ticker a little more accurate. Truthfully I'm not entirely sure what my weight was originally, so I thought 227 was a good place to start. I'll find out exactly what it was the next time I go to my doctor.
In other news my cat weighs 16 pounds, my dressing gown weighs 2 pounds, and my pjamasa 1.5. Meowee; Honey I get those moments at the ripe old age of 26!! Nothing to be ashamed of! Everyone; Thanks for the welcomes:cheer: they make everything a lot easier, knowing that I have a team beind me. And remember, I'm on your team too!!! |
rhiannon, lol at you weighing everything on your new scales!
just done a 45min workout 40mins treadmill and 5 mins stepper. wish my weight loss ticker was moving as quick as my exercise ticker! hope y'all have had a good day. night night XX |
Hi gang . . .
Just a quick little HELLO . . . it's been a busy day and now I'm dozing off over the keyboard. Keep moving and shaking, ladies . . . see you tomorrow. :carrot: |
Hi Gals
Nope I didn't fall off the edge of the earth, I have just been extremely busy. Hope that you are all doing well and taking care of yourselves. I am away for the weekend.. off to my leadership program, but I will try and make it here more often next week. Take Care  |
Good morning all! Yesterday was my birthday and hubby came home with 2 dozen roses, a beautiful card and a cake that was/is to die for!! Need I say more? Scales came up a bit, but I know they'll come down again soon. I really gotta pull myself together next week. I say next week because the weekends (for me) are hopeless. I'm gonna sit down and plan my menus, once I do that it seems that everything else around me falls into place. I really can't say enough how important meal planning is...again...for me.
Rhiannon, it's good that you're still keeping health on the front burner while helping your friend. A couple of weekends ago I was helping my aunt and uncle move, and like you experienced...a lot of take out. I worked so hard that it totally balanced out in the end, just make sure you keep drinking plenty of water. Liza, this body shouldn't deserve a break! It's been on one since last summer, I've been pretty much maintaining since then. Which I know isn't a bad thing, but this is far from my goal. I just would love to get to goal and then maintain..LOL! Thanks for the pep though! Linda, Hi! Hope you're keeping well...I imagine you're a lot better now that the chocolate is on it's way to decomposition..hehe! Dare I tell you about the cake that's in my fridge with icing that melts on your tongue on contact...ohhh gosh it's good and even though he bought a small cake there's still too much left over. It'll be gone as soon as my dad gets here though! :) Louie, Hi girl! Glad to know your still here, looking forward to hearing a lot more from you next week. Don't work too hard now, try to have some fun over the weekend! Hope you're all having a great day! TTFN! |
Hi everyone! Well, yesterday was not a great day for me. I overdid it....not hugely, but hugely enough that it made me upset with myself. I didn't brave the scales this morning.....they scared me away. AND, we're going out of town this weekend with another family so I don't know how that's going to go. Hopefully it'll mean more exercise, though, so I can be a little overboard without it hurting me. If I've maintained at weigh in on Tuesday, I'll count it a success and not get discouraged. I'm not discouraged yet....hopefully won't get that way. Anybody got some pre-discouragement encouraging words for me??? :)
Have a great weekend everyone.....I'll be back later, but may not have time to post before leaving for the weekend. :) Diana |
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TINA!!!!

Happy Friday, chickies . . .
Another cold, but mostly sunny day and the long term forecast says we are in for the whole month of February being colder than normal. I can handle that as long as they continue sending the sun, too. Well, yesterday was so busy I hardly had time to think about chocolate and my calories came out a little too much on the low side  So far today, we are right on track and I hope I can hold it together for the week. :^: Think I've found a way to calm the choco- . . . a little cocoa and some Splenda stirred into FF/NSA yogurt . . . amazingly good. TINA . . . . . . Happy, belated Birthday, girl. Remember now, you never get older; just better. Glad your Dad is coming to polish off the cake for you. ;) DIANA . . . . . . All you can ask of yourself is to do the best you can under the circumstances. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other, girl and eventually you will get to the destination. LOUIE . . . . . . Well; Hi there, Chickie. Hope to see you again soon. RHIANNON . . . . . . I've got a cat about that size (actually, almost 20 lbs.), too. He looks even bigger because of the hair. The vet says he is NOT overweight. I've attached his picture. Let's see your little 'lightweight'. LIZA . . . . . . never you fear, kiddo . . . the weight ticker will do you proud, eventually . . . keep up the good work. There was a thread on the boards a little while ago about how to weigh your boobs . . . thought you'd get a kick out of it (especially Rhiannon who is going a little scale crazy at the moment). Here's a link . . . http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/show...=breasts+weigh Keep on moving and shaking everybody . . . see you all tomorrow. :carrot: |
Hi ladies, I'm so far behind that I can't possibly catch up on personals, although I find time everyday to pop in and read.
Welcome RhiannonC! I'm glad to see you posting. Linda, I love your fluffy kitty! We have two here, but I don't have any photos on this computer. Congrats to all of the losers. If you're not losing, I can commiserate, although I have had some high calorie days lately (Tuesday was a total binge day, don't know where that came from). I've been in a dieting funk lately. Kind of a cycle where if the scale would move I would feel better, but it's not moving, so I eat too much, then it still doesn't move (no surprise there), so I feel bad and eat too much, etc. I may need to hide the scales for awhile. Maybe then I wouldn't mind so much. Oh well, have a great night! |
hey gals,
i was kinda tired yesterday so didnt do any exercise, but iv done pretty good on that side all week so i guess im allowed one day off. im going on holidays on october1st, i just booked it, so i have 7months to lose as much weight as possible. wonder how much i can lose by then,:?: id need to lose a heck of a lot to even think about wearing a swimsuit, and its a holiday park place so to go on rides and in the waterworld and stuff with my son im gonna need to lose lots.:( but maybe this is the motivation i need to keep me on target...my sons gonna have a pretty rubbish holiday if i dont lose weight so i need to do this:^: :^: |
Just dropping in quickly; I had a 13 hour day at work today, so I'm off to bed asap. I'll be back tomorrow (though I gues it is tomorrow now!!), so expect to hear from me soo. Oh, I manages to keep on track with everything but my 5 minutes intentional exercise so I'm really happy!!
|
just popping in quickly, needed to sit down for 5mins to catch my breath. i upped my speed a notch on the treadmill and omg it was a hardworkout, i lasted for 32 minutes tho so im pleased with myself. also did 5mins on stepper this morning. off to update my ticker now, catch you gals later xx
|
i sat down for a couple mins and had a big glass of water and then got an energy burst! so got back on treadmill and did 6more minutes! and at the new speed too! urgh im so sweaty now, i wouldnt mind exercise if it wasnt for the sweat! have changed my ticker again and im off for a shower!
bye again! |
where is everyone, feels like im talking to myself lol! :?:
just done my 30minutes for today, had a bit of a bad day food wise, couldnt resist burger king while i was out. :( weigh in day tomorow, hopefully my one bad day wont have undone all my hard work :^: hope y'all are having a good weekend XXX |
Hi everybody . . . don't think I'll ever understand how quiet it gets around here on the weekends . . . sometimes I think everybody has a busy life but me.:dizzy:
LIZA . . . . . . you definiitely deserve an exercise rest once in a bit, girl. Hope you are still enjoying the sweating stuff. ;) RHIANNON . . . . . . hope you had a restful night after such a long day. :) TAMMY . . . . . . Hi there, girl. Glad to see you. Hope the scale comes out of its 'funk' soon. Well . . . I'm not having a great day today. I ache everywhere; I don't seem to be able to stay awake; but I also want to eat everything in sight. So right now I'm trying to stuff myself full of water in the hope it will help some. Okay, girls . . . have a great Sunday evening wherever you are. Keep things moving and shaking as much as you can and I'll be seeing you soon. :carrot: |
Hi ladies,
Liza, Your vacation sounds like good motivation for staying on track. You are doing great on the treadmill! :cheer: Don't let your bad meal at Burger King throw you off track. That happens to us all, just get right back on track. I *used* to love Burger King. It would be hard for me to resist too. Linda, I guess weekends are busy for most of us, although mine are not necessarily busy "fun". Just busy errands and doing chores that I don't have time to do during the week. I hope you are feeling better soon. Keep chugging that water! I'm back on track after having the meltdown that I mentioned on Tuesday (a 4300 :fr: calorie day where I was eating everything I saw). I was nursing a cold and I think I went carb crazy... Surprisingly enough, I never really saw it on the scale, and I think I'm past the point of seeing it now. I even had a loss yesterday. Now I'm considering adding a cheat meal once every two weeks. NOT a 4300 calorie cheat meal, but a meal where I don't have to log it into fitday. I have started bike riding again, something I haven't done for almost 20 years. So far I'm riding DH's bike, but next weekend I plan to go and purchase my own bike. I'm excited about it, and I'm planning to set some long term distance goals soon. DS and DD have been riding with me. DH is recuperating from surgery he had about 2 weeks ago, so once he is healed, he'll be able to go with us too. I like my Walk Away the Pounds DVDs that I have been using for exercise, but I get really excited about bike riding. Have a great week everyone! |
:( :( :( :( :( :(   :( :( :( :( :( :(
no loss this week :( :( i want to cry    |
Hey girls, sorry I have been MIA but life has a way of making days too short to find a little me time. I have been so busy I can't seem to find the time to breath.
My scales are not moving, but I expected that, I think they would have been down today if I had not indulged over the weekend. I have set a fet goals for myself this week and one of them is to make sure I check in here every single day. I hate to run but it is time to clock into work. Check back soon. |
I don't suppose I could visit and not discuss how my weekend out of town went, huh?? :) It wasn't horribly horrible, but it could've definitely gone better. We did semi-okay until yesterday. We left Saturday am at 6:30. We snacked on fat free chips and fat free pretzels until lunch. We went to Burger King where I had a grilled chicken sandwich (mustard, lettuce and pickle only) and a medium order of fries. We went to Ryan's Saturday night where I had 1 rotiserre (sp?) chicken breast, salad (ff dressing), 1 serving mashed potatoes, and an ice cream cone. (Also nibbled a couple bites of chicken pot pie off hubby's plate). Sunday was the BAD day!! We went to CiCi's pizza (the kids had endured without pizza for long enough....they'd been begging for it alllllllll weekend). Let's just suffice it to say that I told my husband that if I was having pizza, I was going to do it up right! I had quite a few cheesy breadsticks, probably 3 pieces of pizza, and two brownies. OMG....when I left there I felt like I was going to BARF my guts up!! I didn't eat anything else alllllll day. And I've not had anything so far today.....I still feel miserable. And I've had diarrhea this morning. The grease really did me in, I'm afraid. :( But I guess in a way that's a good thing....I won't want to do it again. So the weekend wasn't a total loss, I don't suppose. I dread weigh in tomorrow. I'm just going to have to have a really good day today and tomorrow. Hopefully I can atleast break even when I weigh in tomorrow.
Well, I'm off to begin recovering from my weekend "off the wagon." Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday! And happy belated birthday Tina! Diana |
Hello Ladies . . .
My little section of rural Nova Scotia woke up with a bang this morning -- literally! :dizzy: There was a major explosion at the local Home Hardware Building Centre at about 6:30 this morning. I live about 2 miles away and on higher ground and the view of the leaping flames and billowing smoke was actually quite terrifying, but spectacular. Fire departments from four different localities could not contain the fire and the building was totally destroyed in very short order. Luckily it was a free-standing structure and separated from our local mall by a couple of very large parking lots, or things could have been a lot worse. Nothing on the news yet about the cause of the problem -- imagine it will take them a while to sift through the debris and sort things out. :( Other than that, it has been another cold, but sunny day. I've been doing good stuff today and hopefully the good streak will continue through the evening. Slugging down the water again -- and making lots of trips to the bathroom, of course. I try to envision that a little bit of 'me' is heading down the drain along with the water every time I have to go. :D TAMMY . . . . . . Glad to hear you are back in the groove, girl. I do think the old calorie 'zig-zag' routine has it's benefits . . . but I'm definitely not sure that the high day is meant to be quite that high. :o Hey, life happens, sometimes. ;) LIZA . . . . . . Oh sweetie, you've been doing so well . . . don't you dare let this get you down. We all know that things are just not fair sometimes . . . you've just got to hang in there and keep doing the good stuff. :^: ROBBIN . . . . . . Great idea . . . No matter how busy stuff gets, make a little time for us. It will pay off in the end. DIANA . . . . . . Yep, put the weekend behind you and get right back on the long downward journey. Isn't it amazing how quickly our bodies adapt to a better diet and rebel when we give them the wrong stuff. Listen to the signals, kiddo. ;) Well, time to go and get the big salad ready for dinner . . . going to have it with some cauliflower-topped Shepherd's Pie tonight. Amazing how much it tastes like rich, gooey mashed potatoes . . . love it, love it. Keep things moving and shaking this evening, gang. Here's a nice dose of :dust: to keep us all heading in the great downward direction. See you soon. :carrot: |
I've been recording everything I eat on fitday.com, and I've realized thaty I don't eat enough protein. I've been keeping under 2000 calories a day with very little effort, mostly because I've beren drinking insane amounts of tea and coffee, and plus I have very little time to eat at work anyway. However, 12% of calories from protein is not enough!!! Certainly this diet cannot be sustainable as it currently is. Do you guys have any recommendations for me? I'm feeling rather lost right now, and I'd prefer not to just eat a can of fish everyday . . . how boring would that be!!!
|
hey linda, thanks for the words of encouragement. unfortunatly i did let it get me down yesterday, i had a total binge day ate around a million calories and did no exercise :(
back on track today tho |
Liza, Keep moving towards your goal. Sometimes the scale doesn't immediately reflect our efforts, but if you continue eating right and exercising it will show on the scales. I'm so glad you're back on track today. Keep going.
Diana, Good luck on your weigh in. Isn't it funny how after a few weeks of eating well, our bodies revolt when we put that junk back in it. If it keeps us from craving it again, it's probably calories pretty well spent. Linda, Did you ever hear what caused the explosion? That sounds like it was quite a show. Was anyone injured? Robbin, glad to see you pop in. I want to check in more often too. It helps keep me accountable. I'm back on track with my food. No movement on the scale yet, but that's okay. I have gotten off track with my exercise. I've gone from 5 - 6 days a week to 3 days a week. I've got to get moving, and I've already slept in this morning and missed my time. Maybe at lunch, although we've had tons of rain, and it is supposed to rain more today. Well, time to get to work. TTYL. |
Miracle of miracles!!! I'm actually DOWN a lb this morning. How does that happen? Yesterday, even though I felt like I was overeating, I had a pretty good point day. The popcorn really helped. That's what made me feel like I was overeating. I ate yesterday even when I wasn't hungry. I guess that made me feel like I overate too. I ate low point foods, though. I guess that's the difference. We eat a lot of Subway sandwiches. That's what we ate last night. Did you know you can have a foot long ham Subway sandwich for 10 points?? That rocks! It seems like a lot of food and it totally fills me up...all the way!
Sounds like there's a lot of positive stuff going on with everyone now. Everyone seems so motivated. It helps me soooo much to come here throughout the week in between weigh ins. Keeps me motivated and encouraged. Again, thanks guys! Well, I'm off. Wish me well as I go to bake cookies for my children's grandparents for Valentine's Day. I WILL NOT CAVE!!!!! I WILL NOT EAT COOKIES! There are only twelve of them, so if I eat any, grandparents won't get any! I'm also going today to buy NEW JEANS! Mine are too big! YAY!!! Have a great day, everyone! Say a prayer for my weigh in today that it'll actually show the same 1 lb loss that my scales show! hehe Byeeeeeee!! Diana |
Hi Chickies . . . . . . It's pretty quiet around here, today -- well, it is if you don't count the hissing and growling. :D
As some of you may remember, I had to have my little orange cat, Goldi, put down at the end of November. Finally decided today it was time to bring the cat-count back up to three. The new one -- named Purrecious is a 'dilute' calico (grey, white, honey-beige; rather than the black, white, rust colouring of the original calico); female (obviously - if you ever come across a male calico, grab it, you could be rich ;) ; and about 9 months old. A real little sweety who just could not stop purring until I got her home :o So far she and Jazz (the black, easy-going one) are definitely NOT hitting it off. Poor little girl, she hasn't even met Mouse (the not so easy-going one) yet. He's hiding in the closet, hoping it's all a bad dream that he's got another roommate. He's the type that would like to be an 'only' cat. :) I'm sure they'll all work it out in due course, but so far Purrecious is not too sure she's going to like it here. Just wait until next week, girl, when you go to the vet for your little nip/tuck operation. ;) Other than that, not much going on -- I've been staying pretty good with the eating and the water guzzling. RHIANNON . . . . . . Well fish is about the best (lowest calorie, healthiest fat) type of protein you can get; but chicken and turkey (without the skin, of course) is pretty good too. If you like beans, they are wonderful, especially in soup, which is so filling anyway. You also might try some of the low-fat cheeses . . . personally, I don't like them, but that's just me. One thing I do eat quite a bit is an egg-white omlette with lots of veggies thrown in. Good luck on finding some things you like. :) LIZA . . . . . . Good girl for getting back on track. Just hang in there, kid . . . the body has it's own timetable about these things. I know how you feel, though; I seem to have been looking at this same number for sooooooo long. But I know it will eventually move if I just keep the faith as much as I can. TAMMY . . . . . . Nothing on the cause of the explosion yet, but nobody was hurt. I drove past there a couple of times today . . . it's amazing how little there is left. Funniest thing . . . there was a little out-building (housed an emergency generator or something) tucked in behind, and a few feet away from, the main structure and it is still standing and doesn't even look to be scorched. :dizzy: Weird. DIANA . . . . . . That is great news. Now . . . stay away from those cookies . . . you can do it. Actually I came across a recipe for a flourless oatmeal cookie the other day. I'm going to try them. If they turn out like anything edible, I'll post the recipe . . . it sounds yucky, but the Chick who posted the recipe says it is amazingly good. I like the new picture. Well, I'd better go check out the source of the noises coming from down stairs. Hope you all have a great moving and shaking evening. See you soon. :carrot: |
Somebody has to remind me not to talk to my friends/family about this diet thing!! All I get are opinions on what I should be eating, or how they did it, or "oh, you don't actually burn any calories in only 5 minutes of exercise" which, besides being an infuriating thing to say, is also an impossibility! God forbid that anyone other than my aunt is simply supportive without offering ten trillion pieces of unsolicited advice!!! I think I'm just going to keep this whole thing private, the way my aforementioned aunt did (she lost 100+ lbs and has kept them off for 4 years!!!). It seems to me like its my business what I choose to do and I'm fed up with unsolicited advice.
|
Well girls another quick fly by for me. Scales are still sitting at 220 but I indulged last night and had a brownie. MMM it was good but not worth the calories. Other than that I have been on track and exercising. Hope to see a drop soon.
Linda sounds like you have a very special new kitty. We plan on getting a new one soon. We have been without for about a year now and I think its time. Well better get a move on. Check back soon. |
Rhiannon, isn't it GREAT to have a place to come to vent??? :) If what you're doing works for you, then you're right, it's nobody else's business!! You're trying to be healthier and that's a good thing! I think you're wise to listen to your aunt who knows firsthand.....Let what everyone else says go "in your ear and out your rear" (as my parents used to put it). Kinda gross, huh?? lololol :)
Well everyone, weigh in was last night. I'm down 1.6. Considering my weekend, I'm happy with that. Yesterday was okay, pointwise, I believe. Today's not off to a great start, though. I woke up with a migraine....usually I have to eat to make it go away. So far, I've had 4 points. And it's not even 9 am!! But I think headache's getting better. I've lost a total of 13 and some tenths, but can't remember how many. Last night was 6 weeks I've been at it. Not too bad, huh? And yesterday as I baked cookies, I wasn't even tempted to eat one...although I did lick some chocolate off my finger.....Happy Valentine's Day to me! lololol Well, I think I'm off to steam some vegetables for later. I can snack on broccoli all day...no points! :) Good luck today everyone!! And Happy Valentines Day!! |
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, everybody . . . :val1: The FFM gave me a little pressie this morning by letting me finally move my ticker. :D Not a lot, mind you, but I'm always thankful for every little bit.
Not too much improvement on the cat front . . . Mouse is living in denial (maybe if I ignore her she will go away) . . . Jazz just keeps giving her dirty looks (don't you dare touch my stuff) . . . Purrecious is still doing a lot of growling and hissing as she trys to stake out a little piece of territory to call her own in a house that smells totally of 'them'. :dizzy: At least she has decided I'm OK, again. :) RHIANNON . . . . . . Just try to ignore them. When they notice that you've been losing, just give them a little Thank You and smile. If they ask what you are doing, just tell them that you are eating less and moving more and then change the subject. We all have people like that around us and, unfortunately, there always seems to be ten of 'that' kind for every one that actually understands. Hey, that's why we've got 3FC. We understand each other. :yay: ROBBIN . . . . . . Good attitude. Keep on doing the good stuff and it will pay off. If it was easy, it wouldn't be so very worth it. Hey, I know we all wish it could be a little easier and a little faster -- make that a lot easier and a lot faster. :dizzy: DIANA . . . . . . Good going, girl; you are doing really well. That much chocolate is healthy . . . at least it is so long as it doesn't lead you into more and more and more. ;) Broccoli is good. :D Too bad it doesn't come in chocolate flavour. :( Well gang, nothing too much else is new. We are being threatened with a really nasty pile of weather. Snow followed by freezing rain followed by more snow followed by regular rain. so far, the temp is getting warmer, but nothing has started to fall from the sky, yet . . . hope the forecast is wrong. :) You all keep things moving and shaking this evening, ladies. I'll see you soon.:carrot: |
Hi everyone...Sorry I have been MIA, but I got my socks knocked off for the second time with the flu. I've been sick almost a week and today is the first day I don't have chills or a temp. I did go to weight watchers today and I loss 4.9 lbs, soooooo I'm very excited about that.
I'll try to catch up with personals tomorrow. Cheryl |
Scales are still holding steady at 220 but you know you really can't expect them to move when I don't stay on track. I fell off yesterday, pretty hard. Pizza for lunch and hamburgers for dinner.
I am back today though with turkey sausage and dry toast for breakfast and grilled fish and broccoli for lunch. Not sure about dinner tonight though. Our water pipes have busted and we will spend most of our evening under the house trying to fix it. YUCK cold and wet. Temp is 15 here today so we will be freezing our buns off tonight. Cheryl sorry to hear you have been sick but yay on the loss. Dianne Congrats on your loss for the week, you are doing great. Linda I am sure those cats will find a way to live with each other it's just gonna take a bit of time. Well ladies gotta get to work. Check back later. |

Hi gang . . .
Well . . . we did not get the snow we were promised, but we definitely got the ice. Today is relatively mild but it's also dull and not warm enough to start melting the ice and the wind is absolutely wild. Definitely happy I don't have to go anywhere today. :) CHERYL . . . . . . Wow, glad to hear you are finally feeling better and hope it stays that way, too. The weight-loss is great but not when you have to suffer the flu to get it. ;) ROBBIN . . . . . . Yep that is definitely one of the unfortunate facts of life. :dizzy: I feel that way about the various exercise videos I own . . . somehow they don't work too well if you don't put them in the machine and actually use them. :o Jazz and Purrescious seem to have decided on a semi-peace treaty. Mouse now lives under my bed and uses the bathtub as his littler box so he doesn't have to come down stairs and risk the chance of actually 'seeing her'. (Hey, he could have picked a lot of worse places). I figure hunger will force him out eventually because I refuse to take food up to him and in the meantime he can stand to lose a pound. :( It's strange that he is so traumatized because he's more than twice her size and he's always been a bit of a bully -- but, I guess, like all bullies; he's really a coward at heart. ;) Anyway, Chickies . . . you keep things moving and shaking today (it'll help us to stay warm) and I'll see you again later. :carrot: Oh . . . here are a couple of pictures of Purrecious in the basket she has adopted as her bed. |
Hi Gang...Hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day. My Hubby gave me a box of surgar free turtles..(candy)...Just what I didn't need, but I'm treating myself to one piece a day. I'm down another 2 pounds this morning, so I moved the ticker. :woohoo: Terrible way to do it, but I'll do about anything to move the scales in the downward direction.
Robbin...So sorry you have frozen/broken pipes to deal with.:( 15 degrees sound darn right balmy to me!! We are suppose to make it to 8 today, after being -25 for a low. Linda...Cute pictures of your cat. She's very pretty by the way. Have a good day. Cheryl :luck2you: |
