Just a buzz by. This week is insane. ANd I'm fighting a cold. I'm talking my 'Get Well Soon' stuff and it seems to be holding it off. I CAN'T get sick before Sunday. WAY too mcuh going on for that.
Eating has been good. Exercise has been great. Hoping for a loss again next week

Good morning all you Sugar Buster's. Can't believe its Friday and brrrrrr its cold here in Missouri this morning. It was supposed to get in the 30's last night. Our heater is sure going on lots. This has been an awful week for me. I've walked all around the Sugar Busters program and even cheated and had potato soup one night of all things. Have you ever been so happy the week is over so you can start again and do better. Then next week end we're going to Texas so I don't know what that will bring. But I'm looking forward to our little trip to see our son one last time before he leaves for Iraq.
Solly- I've never tasted a vinegarette. I may have to try one. That would be great to have one with you. You're such an inspiration!
Tech- Hope your knitting club was fun. Wish I could do that. But I have no talent in any type of sewing. I'm getting my spraggetti sauce made today so we can put it in the crockpot tomorrow and let it just cook slow all day.
Bob- Good job getting the pats on the back. Hope you're resting better. Which movies are up for this week end?
Talitha- NO don't get sick. I'm worried about catching DH's cold.....

Sure wanted to skip the gym last night and go have a margarita, but I didn't. It was a crazy day and traffic was a mess. I did relax with a glass of wine at dinner. No big plans for the weekend. Have WW, then clean, then my DD & I are going to Zappos to look for shoes and then shopping. Sunday, she and I are volunteering to work at the breast cancer store they have in the mall for the month of Oct. We will work 3 nights.
Bob, glad you got some rest. You go girl, I knew you had it in you. Tell the boss you are all that. Good luck to your Vols.

Toni, Start again, Bob will bring the wagon around. Sometimes we have those weeks. I am going out of town next week too and am worried about eating, but mostly drinking. Sending prayers for your son. I can't even imagine the fear you must have. Tell him "thank you" for doing this for us. You must be so proud.

Yes! It’s Friday and it was cold here too! 44 this morning. Craig and I are chaperoning the football game tonight and I need to remember to pack in a jacket!
I weighed this morning and I’m back to my ticker weight. I have a plan to try to do really well next week. I think I will start by making sure I get in some good walks in the weather this weekend!
Last night I made a pasta salad that was wonderful! I put in my pasta, green beans, mushrooms, tomato, onion and bell peppers. Then I made vinaigrette from balsamic vinegar, tiny squirt of mayo, salt, pepper, garlic and olive oil. Mix all together! Craig was surprised at how good it was and Sean had a small serving to try and then went back for some more! It’s great when you find something that everyone likes!
Talitha- Way to go on the exercise! I am going to try to fit in some walking or something whenever I can sneak it in next week and see if it makes a difference.
Bob- Way to go with your job! Sounds like things are going well!

It's been so beautiful down here today....no humidity, but still hot....no where near 44 degrees, but I'll take the gulf breeze!
TONI...No movies this weekend...I forgot to mail them back! Hope there's some good football on! I know that MY VOLS play on ESPN at NOON....but after that, I don't know what I'll watch....

Happy Saturday! I've got spraggetti sauce in the crock pot with italian sausage and just finished baking a loaf of sour dough french bread to go with it. A friend came over for tea this morning. So its a nice peaceful Sat. Hope everyone is having a good day.
Just at quick fly-by. Did my walk yesterday to the boat launch and back...the short walk...which used to be my long walk before the lighthouse became my long walk. I'll likely be going to the lighthouse tomorrow. I get less Junior-curious people that way and I get a real sweat working up.
I got my scale working normally and now I'm at about 157. I'm planning on a walk every day this week except Thursday I have an appoinment in Watertown. I'll be gone most of the day.
The Bills are playing the Vikings today. I expect the Vikings to hand the Bills their butt on a platter, and if it gets bad, on the other channel, Peyton will be playing...so at least I have options.
It's a beautiful day here on the GULF COAST of FLA!! I went to work to make up some time this morning and couldn't get on the UNITED HEALTHCARE website so I went to the grocery instead! Came home, getting the bags out of the car and was on my way to the car again and FELL OUT THE FRONT DOOR!! I tripped over the threshold and down my big arse went! Went down on the knee that I broke a year ago, but I don't think I didn't anything except skin it..it's sore, but when I broke it, it swelled immediately and so far, it's ok. I did twist my ankle though...but it hasn't swelled either. Just achey...
TECH...Good going on the walking...My VOLS won....BIG TIME!!! 41 - 7...almost a shut out, but not quite...I don't think we get PEYTON today, but I know KATE is watching THE SAINTS...she's very taken with them since they got back into the DOME...

Y'all have got to check this out...it's a "WATERING HOLE" in AFRICA...it's interesting to watch the different kinds of animals come to drink and clean themselves. I'll move this to the new board tomorrow so everyone is sure to see it!

Just flying by to let you all know we are home. The trip went well, and we were very glad we went. I am exhausted, even though I slept in the car a good deal of the way home. I slept poorly all three nights we were gone.
We need to leave for church in an hour...so I need to go get unpacked and get my ducks in a row before we have to leave.
