Hi Heather! Sugarbusters allows foods that are less than 3 grams of sugar per serving, and that do not contain certain foods that are not allowed, like white sugar, white flour, white rice, white potatoes, pineapple, corn in any form (including dextrose!). It does allow whole grains, brown rice, and sweet potatoes in moderation. If you have not read the book, I strongly suggest you do that, just so you understand how the diet works.
