Yes, you can have sugar free ice cream. Do watch the sugar alcohols however. They can really do a number on your digestive system. Many people suggest waiting a month or so to get the desire for sweet under control before you start adding those kinds of things. Think of them as a treat and not an every day item.
The canned tomato products are ok if they don't have added sugar. Some of the sugar grams on the nutritional label is from the natural fructose that occurs in the tomato, which is ok. As long as it is three or less grams per sugar per serving, it is ok.

can you have sugar free ice cream on this diet? also how about canned tomato products...if it says no sugar added and no sugar are in the ingredients...but on the label it has like 1 or 3gr of sugar? can you have this? thanks for your help in advance.
