I made it another day so yippee.... Two days under my belt. I've done well today.
|
Just popping in to get in some replies.
BOB, I just couldn't believe that silly cat would rather lay down in his litter than to just go and hide somewheres else. He's doing good now since I made him the little bed. I wonder why Skeeter would rub his face in it. Aren't animals funny? Monet, I can't understand why he would hide in his litter either. He's forever "washing" himself. I guess he thought it was the only place he could get peace from the kids because they aren't allowed to mess with him while he's in there. Well that's ok now cause they aren't allowed to mess with him while he's in his little bed. I was shocked that he did so good in the bath; maybe it felt good to him to get the stink off. He normally freaks and runs when he gets near running water. Oh well, he's clean now and that's what matters. Ange, No really I haven't been eating enough. Everyone will tell you that you have got to eat enough or nothing will happen because your body thinks you are starving it. My problem is that I can never find anything I want around here. I am working at it though. Fruit, OMG! I had to laugh about what you said to Willow. Ok, now I'm off to clean up the dishes once again. Talk to you later. Jenn |
Well....I just got home. What a crazy day! I was in 4 of thr 5 boroughs today. I'm exhausted and I really want to eat something (haven't eaten since breakfast that's the kind of day it was) and then get on the TM and go to sleep. I was op all day yesterday (although apparently still not eating enough according to the calorie guidelines Debbie gave me, maybe I need to increas e my carbs).
I don't have much time, but I wanted to thank everyone for their encouragement and sympathy. I want to offer Debbie my condolences for your GM and "ditto" Beachfan's sentiments to you. Tomorrow should be a better day, I have to meet with my mom and the dreaded photographer about my wedding pics to try and straighten that out, but otherwise I'll be home. So I should be able to get on more. Have a good night everyone! :)Steph |
I have pot pies in the toaster oven for Laura and I for dinner. I hate eating this late, but the evening got away from me. Tom decided to head out to a JAVA users group meeting. After I put the pot pies in to cook, I nuked a few rye triscuits with swiss cheese and ate a nectarine. I am probably having too many starchy carb servings, but I am staying OP. I made a pot of decaf with some cinnamon, and am sipping it while I wait for dinner.
There is a Shania Twain special on tonight, so Laura will be glued to the TV. I will probably be able to get on for chat then. :) TONI: Way to go! We can do this! FRUIT: Good for you! I admire your patience with the first graders! I snickered when you said you have to repeat things 450 times. ANGE: Glad your little one is ok! That is scarey when you find something wrong! My three are all pretty much grown, and yet, I remember some of those times...like when my 22 year old was about 8, and had asymetrical growth in the bones behind her ears. The doctor couldn't get her into to Scottish Rite Hospital for tests fast enough... Thankfully, it was just her. Thanks for the encouragement about my lab tests. Actually, my bloodsugar is fine. I just have too much insulin. When you have too much, it tends to throw your whole system off. Thankfully, my blood sugar is still fine. Eventually, however, I can build up enough resistance that that will not be the case anymore. That is enough to get me back on the straight and narrow! :) JECRITES: That poor kitty! If the girls bother him, he really ought to give them a good nip. Then they would learn to give him some space! BASHFUL: Good luck with the photographer. Don't sweat it though. I have TERRIBLE pictures from my wedding. My sister took them, and she got a D in photojournalism! (I did not find that out until AFTER the wedding! ) Even with the terrible pictures, I have the best marriage of anyone I know! Yep, my husband is one in a million! Rest up! Try not to go all day with out eating though! It sets you up to fall! COUNTRY: Thanks for the info on the noodles! ;) I may make a small pan for me, and I can eat it for lunch. I even have some ww lasagna noodles up in the cabinet! BOB: Yes, there is truth to the Glucophage helping with weight loss. The doctor told me that my thyroid stuff should be good to go now, and that I need to take the Glucophage regularly, and it will work now. He has had tremendous success with his patients who take it. I am the lone exception, due to thyroid. He had one patient who started on it, changed nothing in her diet, and dropped 16 pounds in a month. Sounds nice to me! JACK: Pizza? Hmm, that makes me want some. I may have to make some ww crust and indulge! :) Ok, pies are done! Will try and make it to chat! |
HiedieHo All!
PANCHO: I'm only the lead because I'm the only one that doesn't play an instrument! I love most any kind of music so it will be fun. I should say the quartet is a piano player, banjo, trombone and sax! Definitely nothing traditional! When they were warming up I thought "OMG what have I gotten myself inot?", but as the time progressed they grew on you and wasn't bad! Jusr had fun with it! Tomorrow the pino player and I are going to get together, sher said to find my range. That won't do much good as she says she cannot transpose has to play what's written. Today I just found my own key and harmonized woth that. Worked. FRUIT: Okay we are on the same wave length. I too stayed OP! Congrats to us both! TONI too! We can do it! Was out in the pool for a while, had supper and now will stitch a while. Take care, Shirley |
Tuesday Night
Hello Everyone! I just got back from WW. Had a good weigh in. Down 2.2 pounds from last week. And that's after even going out for a birthday lunch for a co-worker today. So I was pretty excited about that. I have 6/10s to lose to get back to my WW low weight of 183.2. So perhaps I'll get there by next week.
Our leader had a really good meeting. She told the story about a very successful business man who was retiring. At his party, he shared what had helped him throughout his career to make him so successful. He kept 17 words on the back of his business cards to help him make the right choices through the years. Here are the words: PREPARE, CARE, BELIEVE, FORGIVE, CHANGE, RISK, LISTEN, CHOOSE, RELAX, PRAY, PERSIST, SMILE, FOCUS, ACT, TRUST, ACCEPT, WAIT. These are words that can really help us as we try to get healthy and make the right choices for our lives. I thought this was really excellent. Okay, on to some responses: MONET---So glad to hear that you are back on program. Don't worry about the amounts right now. Just get back into the habit of eating the right stuff and then get into eating the proper amount. You can do it, WonderWoman!!! TONI---You are doing GREAT!!! Two days down. How are you feeling? I'll bet you feel so much better. I know when I eat the right stuff and the right amount. I feel so much better. Keep going girlfriend! It's FANTASTIC to have you back with us. Don't disappear again, okay??? COUNTRY---I am so proud of you!!!! You are doing so well. Please don't get discouraged that the scale isn't showing the numbers you want. Just hang in there. Even if the scale isn't cooperating, your body is feeling better. It has to be with all that movement. Are you sure you are eating enough? Why don't you try to count your intake calories for the next couple of days to just see where you are coming in for a day. PANCHO---You made me LOL as I pictured myself weighing in at WW in my birthday suit. Oh my gosh, how horrifying!!! I usually wear shorts and take my shoes off and that's about it. Now in the morning after my workout at home, well that's another story. I am usually so sweaty that I do end up weighing in the raw. But that's in my own basement and only the dog and Paul can see me. So that doesn't seem quite so scandalous. Hang in there with your gasoline woes. What a pain. We were talking about it at work today, because a co-worker's daughter is a realtor iin Phoenix and she had to cancel appointments because of the shortage. I hope it's over soon. JENN---That was hilarious about your cat! How funny! I'm with everyone else . . . totally stumped as to WHY he hides in his litter. I have never heard that one. BOB---Sounds like you have it all under control. It's kind of mysterious how people get your email address. I made a mistake of playing games online and giving them my aol address. I think that's where most of my spam comes from. I'll never do that again. I just keep that aol address for anything that I want to sign up for. Just remember that most viruses are not written for the mac platform, so I'm a pretty safe bet. But I'm not immune to having all my address book swiped. At least I don't think so. ANGEL---Thanks for the encouraging words. You are so sweet. Your avatar with your new baby is so sweet. You'll get used to posting. Sometimes I can't get to personal posts with anyone. But it's still okay just to report in. You might want to type up your posts in another program as you read the posts. That's what a lot of us do. Then we can save that document as we go along and not lose any of our wonderful responses. Then you can copy and paste it into the post reply window. That works pretty well. FRUIT---Hey, good for you for doing well on the job. You can do this!!! I am so happy that you got on here and gave yourself the well-deserved pat on the back!!! Good job. Hearing that you are doing well helps us all keep on track. Thanks for the inspiration! Okay, that's it for me today. Hope everybody gets in a little bit of exercise tomorrow and gets to post on the board tomorrow. Take care, Kim |
Ange--Yep, I know the texture of cream. That's why I like it so much!! :)
Pancho--My doctor is an MD but just practices holistic homeopathic medicine. She is not my primary doctor. I get my physicals, pap, etc. from a regular alopathic physician but he really doesn't have much of a clue about thyroid problems. He thought he had me fixed with Synthroid because the one test he had run had good numbers. Unfortunately, those numbers did not show that I had some real problems going on. So I go the the homeopath for the detailed stuff. She was the one who recommended the carnetine. BOB--It's not a real set in concrete recipe for the egg salad. Last time, I used 2 hard boiled eggs and chopped them up kinda coarse. Then I added about a teaspoon full of Dukes mayo (it has no sugar) and a squirt of yellow french's mustard and about a teaspoon of Good seasons Italian salad dressing. The dressing was already made, with oil and vinegar, not just the dry powder. Add a little ground pepper and mix and enjoy. Here's a good lo cal recipe for yummy salad dressing. Use Good season's Italian dressing. Also, use the GS mixing bottle. Pour in canola oil first, up to the first line. This normally is how much vinegar you would add, but, instead, use oil instead. Then, pour red wine vinegar 2/3 way up to the oil line. (ignore the water line) Add the powdered salad dressing mix and then add water to the top of the oil line. Shake well, let sit in refrigerator for at least one hour. Enjoy. This is about 25 calories per Tablespoon. BOB--That's the salad dressing I used. BOB, in the AP poll the Crocs were only 26!! We have NO defense. I think we only have a quarterback and a kicker! |
Good Morning,
It's WIW and I can't believe that I'm first! Ta=dah! Down 4.5 pounds! I'm 234 now, and it's been a crazy week too. So that makes for a total of 36 pounds since May4th. I love this WOE. I was reading about the silly cat, we have 4 of them, they're always spitting and swiping at each other...but we love them anyway. Sounds like everyone is keeping busy. Our County Fair is this week and I'm coordinating work's particiaption, so was there all day yesterday, then went back to the office for more literature and handouts. Will miss it today and tomorrow, but back for Fri, Sat and Sun. Crazy week, lucky I got to post, but had to share about the weight loss! Have to go mke breakfast...take care everyone! Barbara 270/234/135 |
WIW Report---
Good news! Today's scales say that I am at 185.5 which is TWO less than last week. Hooray! I was so apprehensive after going kind of haywire on the weekend. WOODFROGS---Nice going!!! 4.5 is awesome. You are doing great. I'll bet you are getting into clothes that didn't fit before, right? Good luck everyone. Have a great day!!! Kim 204/185.5/140 |
Good morning everyone! I hope WIW is good for everyone! I am down to 155 that is 1 pound less than last week! I was very surprised considering I had pizza over the weekend and leftover pizza Monday - Four slices Sunday and Three on Monday. It seems that the more starchy carbs I eat, legal or not, the easier I loose a pound. Is this possible? My exercise isn't going so well this week. My little girl is sick with an ear infection so I can't resume my walking until tomorrow. Walking is about the only thing I can convince myself to do. Hopefully I will get a Treadmill this weekend. I have been more emotional and stressed this week than normal but I am not like most I don't want to eat when I feel like this I want to clean so needless to say my house looks pretty good. My TOM started yesterday evening and I'm hopeing the cramps stay away. I usually get pretty bad cramps and so far so good. WOW I think this is my longest post since I started! Congratulations to everyone who lost this week and for those that didn't don't worry about this week just look forward to next week it will happen!!! Have a wonderful day!!!

Good WEIGH IN WEDNESDAY Morning:wave:
Wasn't able to get back on the board, much less the computer yesterday. Both kids were using it non-stop. At least when school starts on Monday I'll have the day time to post once again! Hope you all have a great WIW! I for one am NOT getting near the scales yet. TOM is arriving and besides, I know I haven't lost much, if anything and I def. don't want to be a slave to the scale again, so I'm staying off for a little bit, though I'll probably pick a WIW date for next month. I am taking MICHAEL, and his friend ALEX aka son #2 to get new glasses today up in Broward. I am also taking my glasses back. Yesterday, I went to VISIONWORKS and asked them to check my perscription. My perscription is WRONG! No wonder I had trouble! I'm not crazy (okay, matter of opinion on who you ask), it's slightly too strong and one area is too high I think they said. Going to take MICHAEL to order his senior pics as well-they were closed when I went on Monday:shrug: Lunch at OLE OLE for sure - stop at the HFS up there as well. Happy to report that I had a great day staying OP yesterday!!!!:D Even going out to dinner at Outback. Visionworks is right next to OB and since we hadn't taken anything out for dinner and it was just ELI and I, ELI decided for us to there (like you need to twist MY arm). I got something that I never did before and for those who know me, change is usually NOT in my vocabulary when it comes to restaurants-I always order the same thing and at OB it's either the salmon or prime rib. This time I ordered the shrimp and veggie griller minus the glaze, sub the rice with a plain sweet potato and had the house salad with crumbled blue cheese in place of the dressing, minus the croutons and shredded cheddar. I ate some veggies, about 1/3c of the sweet potato and all but one shrimp, and cleaned my salad bowl. Even managed a glass of water in there;) I feel I did quite well, if I do say so myself. Okay, I just HAVE to ask, in regards to this weeks poll - what's OTHER that those of you who've marked it off? Hand Vac? Who else owns a RAINBOW besides me? Don't you just LOVE that thing, as gross as the water is to look at? WHO OWNS THE ROOMBA??? I've read such great reviews about it - need to know if you like it!!! They have them at Linen's and Things for $99 and with 20% off, I think it's a great price for someone who needs one - I personally don't need it, though I'd love to have one! Got 2 DVD's at the library yesterday - one is a French film, the other is THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNERST - anyone see it? I put BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE on hold. I have 15 movies on hold at any given time and just wait for them to trickle in - sure beats paying for them!:D Saw 2 articles in WOMAN'S WORLD magazine yesterday, copied both but could only find one of them, darn it, but here's the jest of it: If you had to pick the most important thing people can do for weight loss, it would be keeping a food record. "This is the one thing that i can say has been proven to work for every single person" And yet 64% of dieters never enven try it. Even if you've tried coutless diets and never found one that did the trick, journaling can help speed you toward your goals. a number of studies have found that when people didn't write down what they underestiamte their intake by 400-1,053 calories a day. That adds up to at least 1460,000 extra calories a year - the equivalent to 42 pounds. Of course, it didn't mention not eating enough was just as bad as eating too much, but of coure, I tell you that all the time! I think tonight I'm going to make dinner. Okay, stop your laughing! Going to try, just not sure what I want to make yet - maybe my popular quiche? I haven't made that in ages. Want to try the BLINTZ SOUFFLE, it sounds good and easy, so that may be a possibility for tonight. May try to find some eggplant to make the EGGPLANT GRATIN as well. My GM's funeral is tomorrow afternoon. I thought maybe my GF would just do a graveside service but it's the funeral home at 12:30pm then a procession up to the cemetary which I found out is far away, about 40 minutes or so, then afterwards it seems everyone is suppose to go out for bagels instead of going back to the house - Jews find any reason to eat, but usually we do what's called sitting shiva, but we are so unreligious, we are taking it the easy route. I don't believe any of my cousins (my GM's other grandchildren) will be flying in, only my sister and I are local. They just saw her at the wedding which is more important that attending the funeral which I agree upon. I don't get the newspaper, but I found her obit on line - short and to the point. Was interesting to see that donations in her name were to be made to Catholic Hospice. I have about an hour before I have to get ready so I need to get in some replies otherwise I won't have the time. I actually was able to do some replies yesterday but it seems I can't find them now, so I have to start anew:shrug: JEC, sounds like you had a bummer day the other day - I hope you've recouped! I too can't stand my house to be a mess but it always is. It would be a cold day in **** when my house was totally spotless. Not that I don't like to have a clean and tidy home, I've resigned to this fact at least til both kids leave for college! My house has the definite "lived in" look (lived in by slobs). Glad to hear the girls liked school-hoping mine say the same. So far, MICHAEL is not happy to be having BIO first thing in the morning, which he found out by it being his homeroom. As for those who have the nerve to say anything about anyones weight, including your own-I think people like them are just trying to make themselves feel better and don't think about other people's feelings. Geez, I'd probably say back to them "thank you for noticing and I hope you saying something like that to me makes yourself feel better about your own weight problem!" TONI, congrats on 2 days OP, for you AND me:cp: Unfortunately, I didn't get the job at the library - it would of been perfect, but I guess I wasn't perfect for the job - it sucks! Unfortunately, I haven't been walking, much less running - basically no exercise this entire summer, and it shows! Now it's because I broke my little toe 6 weeks ago and it's still swollen and a bit sore, but I'm hoping come Monday that I can get back out there, even for a day or two to start-I need to, and more importantly, I want to. JACKK, CONGRATS to DD and her team!!! How'd you do at the Mexican restaurant? I have to say, I'm not a big chip lover and have no problems eating the salsa at OLE OLE with a fork, though it does probably look like I'm a pig to other dinners as I sit with a whole bowl to myself and scarf it down! Do you buy or make your pita chips? Your parents too were married an eternity. It's so rare these days to see people together so long. My other GM, who was my fav. and passed away before LAUREN was born, she too grieved for many years after my GF died in the 1960's-he went way too soon (died when he was in his 50's). I know I would be the same when it comes to ELI, I just can't and don't want to even think about him not being around. I don't deal with issues like this very good at all, esp. when it's someone you love so deeply. With the carbs, it seems when I worry about only taking in 1-3 of them I don't do as well, face it, carbs, and the good carbs we should be eating, are not only filling on the most part, but slow releasing energy which keeps us full longer. Why not eat them? BEACH, thanks for your kind words and don't you worry, I won't dwell on this-doing so wouldn't change a thing and only make me miserable, so I wouldn't bother, what's done is done. Who knows, maybe GM will come to me one day and apologize? COUNTRY, now you KNOW you didn't gain 3 pounds from lasagna! I'm sure it's water, hormones, etc. that has you up 3 and just as flukey as it came on it will come off, so don't fret. Are YOU yourself laying tiles? I hope you and LAWANA do get to do a walk, and possibly a marathon in the future! Your lasagna sounds similiar to one I eat, except I use ricotta and add some spinach in to it. PANCHO, your breakfast yesterday sounded delish! Filling too. There is NO reason you can't eat those oats and add them to your daily menu. It seems, from the news, that we are all going to be facing higher prices, not only in gas, but everything else. The gas prices here have been going up and up and last time I bought gas it was $1.59 a gallon on average. My electric bill last month as almost $300:eek: I remember in the 70's when we had a gas crisis and had to go to the gas station on a certain day depending on the letters in your licence plate and wait in line for hours - not fun at all! I find, if you are looking for something in particular and are patient enough, you'll eventually find it at a garage sale. My kids even brag to their friends of the things I find them, they're proud, if you can believe it! LOL! I can only imagine you crawling through the doggie door!! Thank goodness you had it to crawl through, but then it makes you wonder, who else can be crawling through there that you don't want to crawl through?:?: kittyWILLOW, I did post a response to you above with the welcome but maybe you didn't see it as I shortened your name to WILLOW -wasn't about to shorten it to kitty;) SEF, I think it's very hard to stay OP when at buffets, one of the reasons I don't like them. It's hard to not only find foods that fit, but to keep tab on the amounts, as well as the way foods are cooked and what's in them. We went to RYANS twice when we were away and I had a tough time at it there. Is there any way to order a plate of food and not the buffet? How was it at the casino? BOB, did I miss something, you're going to SC? What's it this time? Flying or driving? On BB, did they do HOH last night? Did I miss it? I can't wait til tomorrow, last AMAZING RACE! I see where they posted a thing at the bottom of the screen for the next Survivor, some Pearl Islands, I believe. My cousin is thinking about contacting AR to see if they'd be interested in coming and doing a part in GUAM. He's trying to drum up some stuff, as he works for the Dept. of the Interior in DC. MONET, when you get like that, food not hitting "the spot" do try to see if you could hit it with some protein. Though, if you are like me and only have ice cream on your mind, it seems nothing else would fit the bill;) I believe it as well, opposites do attract and my GP's were def. opposites in my eyes at least. Hope things at work with that girl pan out - *****y Hispanics can be ugly! ANGE, glad to hear the scare with the baby wasn't anything serious and that she's doing better now. Kids have NO idea what we go through as parents, until they get their own, at least. All the worries! The pot pies are from a company called SHELTONS and I'm SURE you'll be able to find them in DALLAS. When YELLOWROSE comes back on the board (she's getting a new computer) she could tell you where she gets them in DALLAS as I do believe she said she did find them, but if you have a WHOLE FOODS there, they do carry them. You want to make sure you get the ones that say WHOLE WHEAT. I like the chicken over the turkey. They are delish! Speaking of ROSE, she lives in DALLAS 6 months and 6 months in NC where I just saw here and her DH RAY - if ever given the chance to meet her in DALLAS, do so, her and RAY are just priceless!!!!:D FRUIT, YOU GO GIRL! Staying OP AND losing 2lbs - awesome job:bravo: Keep up the great work!!! BASHFUL, sounds like you had a hectic day! Do try to plan ahead for days like that, maybe take a small lunch box size cooler with you to make sure you eat - in worst case, take a protein drink with you, something to keep you going and not get you famished. How many carbs are you eating? QUILTER, awesome loss this week girlfriend, WTG:cp: You are just doing so good, I'm so proud of you!!! I e-mailed the bit about the retired man with the words, I think he'd like reading that. WOOD, CONGRATS on your loss this week, great job! 36 pounds since May is just wonderful!!! Keep up the great work. Have a great time at the County Fair this weekend! DAISEY, CONGRATS on this weeks loss. Seems you and many others on the board are in the losers box;) I wouldn't count on the pizza, unless SB LEGAL to have you keep eating it and losing, it may not hurt you once in a while, but possibly not do you any good if you make it a habit. But, each person is different and you have to see what works for you. I hope DD's ear gets better, that can be so painful for little ones. Seems I've caught up and if I missed someone, it's not intentional. Going to go and hop in the shower. It seems it's going to be a gloomy day, it's dark and I hear some distant thunder:rain: Geez, just as I type that, I hear drops starting to fall! Now it's pouring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will try to check in when I get back later today, until then, have an awesome day! {{{HUGS}}}:grouphug: Debbie |
Good morning everyone..... Glad to get WIW under my belt. I can't really tell much because I started on Monday so will have to wait till next week. But I have lost from when I last weighed which was a couple weeks ago. It gave me encouragement. Glad tomorrow I grocery shop and can't get some more fruit in and a couple extra things. I tried a new recipe I found over at the South Beach diet site last night. Its supposed to be a riceless spanish rice dish. I'll print it off later or at least my version of it.
The Quilter- Yea for those two lbs. You've done really well this week. I bet those WW meetings are so inspirational. I used to go for a long time but they don't have them anymore around. I kind of wish they did just so I could go to get the talks and weigh in. Thanks so much for all the encouragement. woodfrogs-Wow what a wonderful weight loss... Don't forget to pack you a snack bag or lunch for the fair! GatorGAl- Thanks for the recipes. I love to try new yummy stuff. I'm bad to get in a rut and cook the same things.. Sef- Oh gosh you have a pool!!! What great exercise that would be. We live right on the river but thats not the kind of pool I like. LOL.... I'll bet your music group is a hoot!! Monet- What is the name of the pot pies you use? I think Deb told me one time but I forgot and sure would like to get something I could use in a pinch. I hope you made it through the day fine... bashful-I just caught on you're planning a wedding. That must be fun and stressful all at the same time plus not to mention hard to stay OP. Hang in there gal and be sure and take a little time for yourself. jecrites- I live in the part of Missouri going kind of towards the boot heel. Its about two hours from Arkansas in the Ozarks. We live right on the Jacks Fork River. Our place is really in the woods with our nearest neighbor being a mile away. fruitloupe-I'm laughing so hard at your reply to willow.... You're a nut... Sounds like we're on track with our eating once again.... angehaley- That must have been so scarey with the baby. I'm so glad shes doing better now. I'll bet shes really a joy in your life. Yep that starting over is really hard. I even reread the SB book again. Even though to me it is soooo boring. But it is an inspiration. So here "I is" taking one day at a time. Bob- I'm so sorry you've still got numbness. Is there nothing that can be done? You've really had a rough year. Debilli- I sent you a PM with my phone number on it. I would love for you to call anytime. I sure hate you didn't get that job at the library I was sure you were a shoo in for it. I can't believe you broke your toe. Oh my gosh that had to hurt like ****. Its to hot to be out there running around anyway so be oh so careful gal when you do. You sure can make it though the maze of eating places without a hitch. That goes to show you how maintance should work and for this to be a lifetime program. I think I've missed a page somewhere. Huh!!! Thats just like me. Anyway I'll hop back on in a bit. 213/176/130 |
Wednesday
Hello everyone.
Well I'm not going to weigh in again today because of TOM, but I might weigh in next week, depends on if I feel any changes. Way to go to all of you loosers out there!!! Looks like everyone is doing great. I made tacos for supper last night, of course I had a salad out of mine, but I made some "chips" with the soft tortillas, and the family really liked those things. Monet, That's just it though, he bites them all the time, he's a really big biter and doesn't care who he bites. They still bother him though. I haven't figured out why they want to when they know he'll bite them when they make him mad or even if he's just in the mood to bite. His little bed I made for him is working though. He goes and gets in there instead of the litter pan to get away from them. Quilter, I've never heard or seen a cat do that before either. He's a strange kitty though. He doesn't drink his water like a normal cat either. He has to paw it and lick it off his paw. He chases the light from a flashlight too, and I tell you what, that's the funniest thing I have ever saw a cat do, and he'll do it for hours!!! Well I have to run to Wal-Mart and exchange a pair of pants for my oldest, so I gotta hit the shower and get ready. I'll talk to y'all later. Jenn |

Good Morning All
I'm pleased to report that I am down another 1/2 pound since Saturday which brings me to just 1/2 pound higher than my lowest. I've been op all week so far. I've had a busy couple of days. My ds heard that he had to move out of his rented house on Monday as the landlord was selling the house so I was busy helping them look for a place. Luckily they found one yesterday so everyone is relieved. They will be moving in next week, just a day before school starts. Pancho - I got a chuckle from picturing you climbing through the doggy door. :) Woodfrogs - Congratulations on your loss this week. And 34 pounds since May is great. Quilter - Another two pounds gone. WTG :cp: Daisy - You are lucky you can eat all those starchy carbs and still lose but I think it probably depends on what else you are eating. Maybe your total calorie intake for those days was low. Sorry to hear that your dd is sick. Hope she is better soon. Have a great day everyone and good luck for WIW. Marie. |
