I've always wanted to be, but I've always hated it, even when young & thin... We have a family membership at the local YMCA, and in September, my 15-yr.-old daughter and I started working out several times a week. We normally do weight training twice a week and kickboxing twice a week. Lately I've been slipping a bit... No, a LOT. I was so frustrated by that long stall that I lost motivation (Why am I doing this if it's doing nothing?) I know that's a stupid way to think, but it's honest...

out there today! Almost didn't go, went and almost turned right back, but pushed myself and did my 4.5 miles in 54:35, thought it took me longer, I felt like I was going so slow!
