Hello all. Happy Saturday. I slept in and now have a late day. I haven't even eaten yet. But am having coffee and thought I would check in. I got on the scale this morning and it looks like I'm doing good. Can't wait till Thursday to see if it holds. Tomorrow I start my treadmill again. I'm trying hard this week end to make it though. LOL everyday is a struggle for me. I'm sure it will have to get easier. Tonights dinner is a small steak, salad and baby brussel sprouts. Well hope everyone has a good day. Be back later.

Sorry! Somehow my week has just gotten away from me. We got home from Florida on Wednesday. had shopping to do on Thursday, and labwork and allergy shots yesterday. Sean went to an away football game last night that was about 2 hours away and he got in about 1am!! Today has been a lazy day here for me, Craig is at work for the unusual Saturday, and I have been doing laundry. I am going to have to leave shortly to take Rachel to spend the night with a friend.
I tried the cauliflower salad and the spinach pie and I really like the spinach better. I love to try new veggie recipes! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hello everyone! I have spent at least five hours in the garage today, cleaning, tossing out stuff and rearranging. I now have more room to put my stuff in, and my garagio area is looking MUCH better. I found a box of kiln furniture, which delighted me. Now I have all the stilts I could ever want or need! Another shelf and a half, and I will have it made! Shelves are very pricey though...like $45 ...so it will have to wait until I sell some more stuff.

I still have a huge mess in the garage of boxes to be broken down and trash to put in the trashcan, but I feel pretty excited about what I got accomplished. Another Saturday morning like this one, and I will have it pretty much done. Woo hoo!

THIN: Good to see you!

BOB: I better go see how the game is going! Good for you staying on plan.

TONI: I am so proud of you! Keep it up!

I got in the pool and did some water aerobics, mainly to cool off..the garage is hot! Tom and I are going to a new restaurant for dinner. It is a Polish one, and we went on a mission trip to Poland about 16 years ago, so it ought to be fun! I will have to be careful not to over do it.

Default Howdy

Just popping in to send some love to ya'll this weekend. It is beautiful today. It is a little warm right now but it was nippy this morning. Fall is in the air, at least at night..LOL I'm cooking the worlds largest brisket out on the grill. Okay, it is probably not the worlds biggest but boy is that puppy heavy. It weighs in at about 22 pounds. I'm such a wiener I had my son tote it out for me. Last minute I decided to do pinto beans so they are in the pressure cooker.

I hope ya'll are having a FANTASTIC weekend. Praying for each of you.

God bless,
Crystle

Hello all. I'm a bit tired today. My little dog had the runs last night so I had to sleep in my chair since 3 this morning so I could put him out fast. That's the first time he's done that. So I'm dragging today. But I still intend on walking on my treadmill soon no matter what. I made us little steaks last night. I think tonight will be spaghetti with Italian sausage cause that's what DH wants.

CountryMom- Oh boy the brisket sounds good. I've never made one other than a corned beef one. And 22 lbs. is huge. Can't wait to hear how it turns out.

Monet-You've been busy. I love when I get things straightened and organized. Those shelves are expensive.... Thank you for the encouragement. I'm trying hard.

Thin- You're right I like the spinach more. I would make it again.

Bob- Hey gal.... We've almost made it through the week end. LOL. My hardest time.

Off I go. Will check back later.

Welcome to our board ihsabhg. Its kind of slow here because today is Sunday. Please join us here. You know I've hit a complete blank on carrying snacks. I guess I would think fruit or a few nuts. I'm just not sure. Maybe some others will have better thinking caps than me. Do you have the Sugar Busters book? You can usually get it at the library? Or you can buy it at Amazon or find it sometimes on ebay.

Woopie I walked on the treadmill!!!!! At last I've started back again with a little exercise...

GOOD LATE AFTERNOON ALL YOU LOSERS!!

It's a rainy, dreary day here on the West Coast of FLA....BUT I'm not complaining...we need rain so bad...Fall is our dry season and we need to soak in all we can get now.

MY TEAM WON!!!! Yes, I know it was only Arkansas State, but after the season start they had....I'll take what I can get!!! What tickles me the most is the HARD TIME that THE GATORS had yesterday...Yes, they won, but OLE MISS gave them a run for their money!!!

TONI...GOOD GOING...on that treadmill...see, it didn't hurt a bit to get back on it ....did it??? What's going on in your part of the world?? I'm of course doing laundry....my Sunday usual. I took KATE to KMART this morning and we picked up a few things...Then after we got home, I had to go to the grocery...THEN THE RAIN STARTED...at least it waited until I got home and unloaded...What's for supper??? I've got a pot of PINTO's on cooking, but we going to make some MEXICAN CORNBREAD tomorrow to eat with them.
I'll have to give you that recipe...it's wonderful with beans...it's got hamburger in it so you've got a complete meal when your done.

ihsabhg...{{{{{{{WELCOME}}}}}}} to our little corner of the board! Tell me, what does your user name mean??? Sit on down and be sure to join us tomorrow for the start of our week. Everyone will be here and your questions will be answered in full.

Well, it's time for the new TV SEASON and of course, my VCR won't hook up right with the bundled cable. I'm going to miss some shows till they can get out here to get me going.

I'm off to finish my laundry....Have a good evening all!

Default Howdy ya'll

The bisket came out great yesterday. There was probably less than a pound of fat I to cut off when it was done. I caved and about a third of a cup of rice with my pinto beans. But not too bad considering I wanted wayyy more.

Welcome Ihsabhg. My favorite snack to carry with me are those little cheese and beef sticks packs. I also like jerky or nuts.

Hey Bob..((hugzz)) I hope you get that VCR fixed. I have both DVR's set up so we don't miss anything. I'm addicted to fastforward.

Monet...I need some of your energy. The closest thing to organization I've had this weekend was emptying one of my old bags. I did get the laundry caught up.

((Everybody)) Hope ya'll are having a GREAT weekend.

Love and hugs,
Crystle
