KENPOMOM,
Congrats on staying at your goal weight for over a year-that's wonderful! My goodness, from a 14 to a 0/1-you are tiny! I'm happy to be in smalls and a size 6.
I think, no, I KNOW, I have finally beat my weight problem. I know it will be something I will have to watch the rest of my life, but I have never had the confidence to say that before and really believe it as well.
It sounds like what you have done with your daily diet is very similiar to what I have done which is
SUGAR BUSTERS as I too eat only low-glycemic foods, cut out all the refined sugars and flours, etc. etc.-it definintely works!
Of course, exercise is important too and I think that's one of the main keys to losing the weight as well as keeping it off. I love to walk and put in 4.5 miles usually 6 days a week, but have thought about going down to 5 days-but then if I take that other day off, I feel guilty!
Glad to have you join this thread-I hope others who've reached their goal will come on board as well and tell their story and how they've been able to maintain their weight, no matter how long it's been.
Debbie
