Default A small success....

FINALLY!! I hit the 10 lb mark! It's taken me just over 2 months, but I guess it's better than nothing. It's my own darn fault it's taken this long, I can't seem to stick to diet for more than a couple days without cheating in some way. I've been on the weight loss rollercoaster since I was about 12 years old(my mom took me to a "Weight Losers" meeting around that time. Looking back I looked just fine, well, maybe a little bit chubby, but that was the beginning of my trip down the Self-Loathing Lane .) Anyway, I'm trying to do the WW points on my own, have been member a couple times and have all the materials. I try to go to the gym 2-3 times a week, and maybe fit in a TAE-BO workout when I can. I know it sounds like just another excuse, but I have 3 kids, 7 years old and younger, and work full-time, can't seem to find any more extra time than that. If you can offer any words of encouragement to help me stick to it better, please do!! --Gina

Congrats! Please don't worry about how long it takes even though I know it is so hard to do...Think of it this way, the time is going to pass whether you are doing anything about your weight or not. Next year is going to come anyway -- even if it takes you a year to lose say, 20lbs, do you want to be 20 lbs lighter next year or 20 lbs heavier? Or still the same?

ANY, I repeat, ANY loss is a great loss when weight is concerned (unless you're losing muscle of course haha)

Way to go!!

10 pounds in two months translates into SIXTY pounds in a year. And that's awesome. You're losing at a safe and healthy rate. WTG!

Seems like lots of us are in this same boat. I am only losing one pound per week ... but I figure it is better than gaining
