Wow - I went clothes shopping with my step-mom today, specifically to buy jeans (right after swimsuits in my all-time least favourite item to shop for), and fully expected to come home miserable and with nothing to wear. Instead... everything I tried on fit, with no odd lumps of fabric (or flesh!) sticking out, and I actually had to choose form a bunch of jeans. Usually my shopping trips entail about 32 stores, 361 pairs of jeans, and end in me crying in the last change room and grabbing whatever looked remotely decent on me. It felt so good to enjoy trying on clothes, finally! And... i was pulling size 12s off the rack and they ALL fit - no more 14s for me! I even bought medium shirts - wow! I know I'm babbling, but i can't remember the last time i enjoyed shopping for clothes - yay!
I am right there with you...I did some drive by shopping....lol This weekend It was cold and I needed some jeans for a motorcycle ride me and DH was going to take...Instead of going home I got him just to stop by the store and I would pick me up something Quick!!! We where in a rush...I grabed what I thought was my size and low and behold it fit.....A size 14...I was so happy....
It's such a GREAT feeling, isn't it! Congratulations! I used to get SO frustrated when shopping but I went on a shopping spree the other day.. every thing fit! It was awesome. I'm glad you enjoy it again
Thanks guys - glad to hear you guys are having success with clothes, too. The best thing about it was I had saved a giftcard I got for Christmas specifially for when I'd need new clothes after losing weight, so I didn't spend any money (which is for the best, as the student loan is quickly running out!). Kind of wishing I hadn't thrown out all my old smaller clothes a couple years ago, but oh well - since I love shopping now I'm happy to replace them! Looks like everyone's doing really well - keep it up!
