I reached my goal weight tonight after attending WW for 15 months. I lost 130.8lbs. I would like to encourage everyone that's reading this that it can be done. My number 1 tip is to believe in yourself and realize that you are worth the effort.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I'm so happy for you! I just recently started to get serious about losing this weight and seeing your story this morning lets me know that it can be done! I'm starting at 239 with a goal of 150.
I can't imagine how happy you must be right now. Way to go!
For sharing such wonderful news with us! I imagine that you are a much stronger person now that you have achieved something so great and so difficult for most people. I am behind you, and if I continue, next summer I will be at MY goal! Congratulations on your success!
You should be so proud of yourself...what a accomplishment!!
you must feel like a million bucks...go buy you something nice and expensive b/c you certainly do deserve it!!!
I am new to the board, so, did you use WW all the way?
Did you exercise too?
again..pat yourself on the back from me and the rest of the board!!
Trish
WHOO HOOO! Way to go! Give yourself a big pat on the back. You deserve it. You prove with determination, patience and fortitude this goal is achieveable. You are an inspiration. Pitzele 240/159/130
I know this is late, but congratulations!! May I ask what you did, I mean, exercise, how often, etc...
I'm 15 pounds away from my goal, but it's taking almost two years so far.. I don't think I'll reach my goal weight by my 2nd WW anniversary/September, but at least I'm getting there.
For excerise, I mostly did Richard Simmons tapes. I built up a library of them so I could vary my routine. I have 3 toning tapes and the rest are aerobic. I would do three days of aerobic and 3 days of toning during the week. It certainly isn't a ton, but it was more than I was doing. I found that Richard's tapes are the only thing that I can motivate myself to do. It's almost like it's not work because I enjoy them so much.
Good luck to you. I know that the waiting is so hard, but it will be so worth it in the end!
Yesterday I dared to struggle.
Today I dare to win.-Bernadette Devlin
I am sure your a much stronger person now than when you started... simply because it takes the strength of mind, body and soul to complete such a fulfilling task! Bless your accomplishment!
Just wanted to add my congratulations to the list. This is a major accomplishment, and you deserve so much credit for setting a goal and following through.
Oh that is so fantastic to hear how much you lost! I started two days ago, at 261lbs and I am heading down to 154.....for starters, although i could lose another 20lbs or so after that to get to my bmi
so it can be done! well done you!!! well done. that is so brilliant.
