Default NSV - Sizes

I'm so relieved at seeing an NSV -- the past couple of weeks have been particularly stressful and I fell off the "good food and water" wagon again, but today I picked up a new work shirt for my part time job, and I'm down from a 2X to a XL. I should probably pick up some new pants as well, but they're not outrageously big yet (the 2X shirt was!)

I'm drinking my last diet soda right now, and putting myself back on the "good eats" track. I'm happy.

Well done! I can't wait to drop a size in shirts. Keep up the good work!

I bet dropping a size is motivation enough to jump on the wagon again. Good job and don't give up!!!!

I decided to run to Sears today and try on pants to see where I'm at size-wise. I grabbed the same style pair of pants (black, elastic waistband, cotton I think, not sure but they're nice looking) and tried on a 16W. It was a little snug (like...please don't shrink!) but definitely wearable with a top that comes down over my belly. The legs fit perfectly!

In about 3 weeks when I have some cash, I'm going to go back and try on pants again, only this time I'll actually buy some. Who knows, maybe I'll be slipping on 14's by then!

Double congratulations to you! First, for dropping a shirt size, and second, for not letting a couple of rough weeks derail you permanently. As long as you can pick yourself back up after you stumble--as you've just proven you can--you'll get into those 14's soon.

Sometimes it takes something just like that to get you all fired-up again! Congrats!
