I did my 6 month measurements and was amazed to see the results. I'd only lost 6 lbs, but I lost over 9 more total inches, for a grand total of 40.5 inch loss. What's amazing to me is that the lbs were a 13% improvement, but the inches were nearly a 25% improvement.
I have been concentrating on building muscle, as well as continuing cardiovascular gains......It must be true about muscle taking up less space in the body.
Then, I was walking through the grocery store yesterday and a man and I were suddenly playing chicken with our carts..you know, weaving back and forth to get by each other. Anyways, he stopped and said, "Oh, you're from the gym! I've been meaning to tell you that you're doing a great job!" We chatted a bit about me lifting in the free weight area and I certainly thanked him for his comment!
