Default Wow! Is this ME?????

I am amazed at myself today. First I got up and was at the grocery store at 6:45; not that unusual as I'm an early riser. Except I found this store did not open until 7 so I went walking. Then did the shopping; went to another store for a few things. Then home and chopped up a whole crock pot full of veggies and started it. THEN fixed a bunch of chops and chicken to marinate.

THEN I cleaned out my refrigerator and the freezer and tossed out all the old rotten food which I am sure none of YOU have in your refrigerators!!

THEN I did a couple loads in the dishwasher from all the cooking and cleaning out... then some laundry.

THEN I decided to walk up to the fitness center and do some strength training; when there decided to hop on the treadmill for a while too... then just walked back home (only a couple blocks; it is in my apt complex).

So I am at 10,857 steps and it is 2:51 PM!! BUT I got some new magazines in the mail and guess where I plan to plop my tired little butt for a while!!

Oh! Also when I got back home I decided to try to take my stairs without holding onto the handrail and no "baby steps" of putting the second foot on the same step. I usually have to hold on to the rail. Well... I DID IT!!! I took some short rest stops and was a bit wobbly LOL but I made it up all three flights of stairs!!! Not running up them yet but at least I made it LOL.

That's wonderful Dance! All of your hard work is giving you that energy boost. Bask in it baby!

I cleaned my fridge today too. Now I'm painfully aware that I need to go grocery shopping.

Thanks for the hug, BeatlesFan! I used to be soooooo energetic! This thyroid tumor stuff really sapped all my strength but I had about given up hope that it would ever come back. But I am starting to feel like the "old me" -- and the old me would have been able to get in shape!!

Glad you got your refrigerator cleaned out too! I still have to do the washing down part, etc. LOL I was appalled at what I found in there!!

Congrats! Sometimes we get so caught up in the numbers, it's easy to forget about other achievements - sounds like you're getting a lot healthier as well as losing - way to go!

LOL Lumi, sprinting yeeks... BUT I do recall just a few years ago when I lived in Fort Lauderdale I literally DID go running up the crossover stairs at the Swap Shop... now here I am huffing and puffing up them. But I do plan to get there again.

I need to go out and do some serious stair climbing! There are about 30 or so buildings in my complex, each with 2 sets of 3 flights of stairs. Just running around my section... 9 buidings... up and down them is a pretty good workout! I used to do it but not recently since I gained a lot of weight LOL. Hmmmmmm.... maybe I will try it this afternoon! At least a few of them!

WONDERFUL!!! You are doing so awesome on your workouts, and just keeping moving during the day. You really are inspiring me every time I read about what you've been able to accomplish in a day. Keep it up, and keep posting them cuz I love to read and be inspired. Thanks.
