Ok my brother and I currently are roomates. He is overweight himself, and just got that way the past couple years. He used to be WAY skinny. Well last night we went to pick up his son from school and he just INSISTED that we stop and eat at wendys (I used to adore the place) and he also ordered my FAVORITE thing....(spicy chicken) ...Man did it smell deliciouse!! But I ordered a Grilled chicken sandwich PLAIN...and a side salad with Light italian dressing and Ice water....i only ate half the bun that the grilled chicken came on. It was really really good, and i found that i didn't miss the Spicy chicken or the fries and coke...because i also remembered how i use to feel after i ate it ...and i wouldn't trade how great i feel now for anything!!! I know its not a huge deal...but i used to cave in real easily!

Good for you! It is so hard to remember the "icky" after feeling you'll have when you smell all that stuff. Congrats on using your healthy habits for a good choice.

yeah, i know how that feels because i am feeling it right now. i ate tooooo much at our monthly luncheon. i tried to just get a little bit of most stuff but it must have just been too much. i didn't even eat but half of my hamburger. i couldn't finish it. but the 3 different deserts i tried must have been the icing on the cake...no pun intended. we did have birthday cake.

congrats on your willpower. i am going to have to work harder on mine.

i feel sooooo miseralbe. good thing i have an hour long cardio class tonight to help move it along.

awesome job!! its something to be proud of, my friend works at a ice cream shop so everytime that i go to visit him i have to fight the urge not to get anything, and when i do i always feel good about myself.

Wow lauren it would be hard to say no to ice cream...but its great you do have the will power..and a big CONGRATS!! on the 65lbs girl...keep up the awesome work!!
