OK, so the eating part of this life change has been the hard part for me: I love exercising, so it was pretty easy to slip into that.

Today I had to eat dinner out, but wasn't quite full with what I got. I was at the library until 9, and told myself that if I really wanted something, I could get it on the way home. Well, I just got home, and I had managed to talk myself into waiting for the carrots that I knew were sitting here waiting to be eaten!

It may be just one step, but I'm really glad I restrained myself.

It's the small steps that add up in the long run. Congratulations on your victory!

Good for you, Swingchick! Glad you made it!!! Doesn't it feel GREAT when we know we did the right thing rather than giving in?

Way to go! I'll bet eating those carrots made you feel better than any unhealthy alternative. Probably slept better that night too!

Good for you, Swingchick! It can be really tough to opt for the healthier choice when you're in the midst of feeling those hunger pangs and not-so-healthy choices are immediately available. Good for you!
