Exclamation The ONEderful land of ONE

This post is a bit belated - I guess I was too afraid to jinx it .

The weekend before last, I FINALLY got sick and tired of having to weigh myself 15+ times on my digital scale and take an average - so I tested them both (and used my tiny 118 pound fiance as the test dummy) - and the old monster is more accurate - and WAY more consistent. The digital weighed things on average as 3.4-4lbs too heavy and was REALLY inconsistent

So - then I got on my super reliable / consistent and accurate analog scale. AND ...

I WEIGH 199 LBS ! That's a decrease of 4.5 pounds from the previous week (attributing 3 pounds to scale change and 1.5 pounds as actual weight loss ).

Overall loss so far - 66 pounds! My weigh-in this past weekend proved it - I'm official

FINALLY - I'M IN ONE-DERLAND!

This is the first time in 4-5 years I've been able to say that - and that's only because I was able to get below 200 for about 2 years as a freshie/soph in college. I'm at 199 now

I've spent 22 years of my life on the other side of the fence - I finally got over the hurdle!

Good to all you other chickies out there

TOGETHER WE CAN DO IT

PS - I gotta get me some pictures up there! I promise to do that soon (so maybe in a month? lol)

to everyone!

Congratulation!!!

I can still remember the last time I stood on the scales and saw that I had crossed over from "ONE-derland" into the 200's. I am so excited to be working on getting back there again. Kudos to you!

Smile

Thanks everyone!

I lost 66 pounds in one year and two weeks.

My weightloss was slowed for 2 months by a condition requiring physical therapy (PT actually sped up by weight loss due to the weight lifting required) - and then it stalled for another 6-8 weeks after PT.

I'd gotten used to eating higher calories and still losing weight (weight lifting again) - and when that stopped I got stuck .

Then a lot of negative stuff happened in my personal life (during the post PT time).

But I'm on track again - and I'm still truckin

Onward ho!
