Cool Lost a Size

I haven't been the most stringent eater or exerciser for the past couple of weeks, but decided to get back on track this weekend, and started out Sunday with an unexpected NSV -- I had to go shopping to get a new outfit for work (my black pants were getting so faded and worn that they really should be thrown away, and I wanted a new interview suit anyway for an interview on Tuesday) and the first outfit that I tried on not only fit, but actually looked nice on me. It was only after I got home that I realized it was a size smaller than I've been wearing -- I had accidentally grabbed a 20 instead of a 22.

Seeing some of the really cute dresses going up to size 16 also gave me some motivation to get my booty moving again -- I really want to wear a "little black dress" someday and actually have it be little!

Congratulations on that. I'm sure that made you feel great knowing you are down one more size.

I am starting the South Beach Diet today. I have about 50 lbs to lose and hope to get it off by next summer.

Take Care,
Malia

Congrats that is wonderful..clothes are a wonderful motivation. I know I need a new outfit for a party Saturday night, but it isnt easy for me to just go shopping since it is an hour drive from where I live to get anywhere that sells clothes. But I may have to make the trip sometime this week...maybe friday then I will know if I am down another size.

Thumbs up

Congratulations ! It's great when our clothes get too big for us - it brings it home that we are actually getting smaller . More so than just a number on the scale.
