Default Sporty? ME?

I guess so!

Last night my lacrosse coach called me sporty! I kinda did a double take and looked behind me and eventually realised he was talking to me!

He was mightily impressed about my motorbike, then when he asked if I was playing in the match on Sunday I said no because I had kickboxing and he said, "WOW! You love your sports don't you?!" And I told him I never really used to.

I'm not sure where my new found sportiness has come from! But I like it!

Just to clarify how I still don't feel "sporty" - I used to come last in cross country races, occasionally I beat the overweight asthmatic but not always! I played half a match in a high school team (lacrosse) then quit, oh and I played half a match of hockey too. I got into the rounders team but the match we were to be playing was cancelled. I used to be ok at the shot put! I came 4th out of 4 on school sports day! Then I SAT ON MY BEHIND for about 4 years and have only just got off it! It's the kickboxing and the new-found free time I have because I don't have any Uni work! I can exercise every day without feeling guilty about not doing my coursework!

So for me!

Go girl!! Lacross, huh? I'm jealous. I can barely play basebal. Not because I'm not active, but I simply am not coordinated.

Congrats! That's awesome. I know what you mean, I have never been sporty but nowadays I'm like "I have to go run" or "it's time for weight lifting" or "let's go hiking!" or something. I still am not into team sports, but I don't think I'm fit enough yet and to be honest I spent so much time sitting on my *** I don't know how to play most of them! Sometimes I try to play basketball with my BF, but he can run circles around me! Here's hoping some day I will be "sporty" too!
