I'm an editor with "First for Women" magazine who is working on diet success stories for our summer issues. I'm seeking two true stories from everyday women who lost a dramatic amount of weight (75+ pounds) and started their successful diets during the summertime. Maybe they ate seasonally or used summer clothing as a motivator or got involved in summer activities like water aerobics. Whatever your summer diet secrets are, I want to know about them. To be considered for the article, e-mail with a brief summary of how summer made dieting easy for you (or how you used summer as a tool to finally lose weight). Include your name, age, contact info and city/state. Also include electronic 'before' and 'after' photos for reference.
Thanks and keep up the good work as you maintain your weight losses!

Mmm, personally, I find it way easier for me to eat fruits and vegetables when the weather is warm (and when the day lasts longer). So perhaps it's easier, yes; contrary to winter, when it's cold and dark by 5 pm, I don't crave pancakes, waffles and other "comforting foods" as often. But it may just be me
I'm home from University over the summer, which means my mum takes one look at me and screams "you're nothing but skin and bones!!!" *stuff stuff stuff stuff*
Okay, so maybe that doesnt happen...but i'm a fruit-a-holic and i love nothing better than a huge fruit salad with yoghurt...and for some reason there is only so much of that one can eat and still expect to lose weight lol.
I am a lot more active in the summer, yet I have always lost more weight during the winter when there isnt much else to do but workout and prepare for the upcoming summer....

hmm well for me. .. i find that it is easier in the summer to eat more fruits and veggies and water because it is all very refreshing... but on the other hand... in the summer time... i want most things like ice cream, frappacinos lol etc... but people are more active in the summer i think (depending on your scedule ofcourse)
