Hi ladies, This is my first post on these boards. I`ve just got to my target weight and need some inspiration to keep it off. I lost 36lbs. from Jan. last year until June, went on vacation in Sept. and put some back on. Just as I was starting to lose it again I had to go into hospital for an op. on my legs. No exercise and being in the house all day soon took it`s toll and by the time I got back on track I had 17lbs. to lose.
I started to tackle this in mid Dec. and got down to 131 lbs. on Feb. 1st. 2lbs. below my target. Now comes the hard bit keeping it off. I`m hoping to get some tips on this here. Glad to meet you all.
Hi Christie-
Our weight stories sound alot alike. I am usually about 130 lbs. But with Depo- Provera and a broken heel bone I literally exploded up to 165 lbs.Starting Jan 3, I started watching portions and fat grams now, no more than 1560 calories a day and TADA I have 20 lbs left to reach my goal. What makes me happy is that now I can walk on the treadmill and I think i can do that for at least 3 days a week.Lets encourage each other and congrats to you for sticking with it. (Did I say i discontinued the Depo????)
