Unhappy cup size loss?

Did anyone have success loosing a cup size or more?
My main embarassment is looking like a breastasaurus-Rex.
I have big boobs and I hate them, they are a pain in the everything. I had one person tell me that jogging made them loose 2 cup sizes (they were upset at this) I wish I could jog, but I have a ankle problem, not to mention it hurts like heck running with big boobs. I did get a really good sports bra that holds me in pretty well, but the downside is that since it's a compression type bra I can't inhale to full lung compacity that jogging requires. It's the only bra though that stops my boobs from bouncing and hurting too much. I wouldn't do any cardio at all without it.

Anyhow I'm just wondering if some cardio excercises might be better than boob loss than others? I can get a smaller bust number, but have never been able to loose a cup size.
I'm not sure why jogging would be better though, It does make your boobs bounce more, but I would think this would make large breasted women saggy from the weight and impact. I have even broken blood vessels from before when I had a uneffective sports bra while doing high impact cardio. I'm not sure what to do about my boob problem.

Also, will building my pec muscles push my boob fat more forward and make them look bigger? I'm a bit worried about working that one area out.

It all depends on genetics, some people when they gain weight will gain in their hips, thighs and butts, others will gain substantially in their boobs, some in their tummy, it all depends. I went from being a small b cup (I was a b cup at even 256lbs) to being barely an A), other people I know breasts got smaller when they lost weight and remained the same cup size (this is the case for a lot of women). But regardless if you lose weight you will lose some from your boobs, but again it depends on how your body stores fat to see how much you will lose.

Take Care!

Your right about the genetics, I was only a B cup when i was 20 and 104lbs...That weight is not going to happen ever again, my goals are no where near that number, nor do I want them to be.
I'm hour glass shaped I guess, so I'm going to stay big on top and on bottom. I guess a lot of women would want the small waist part, but I always need the bigger sized pants for my hips and bum and then it gaps open at the waist and then my undies stick out when I bend over. LOL
I guess no one likes how their built, I guess there is always something not to like. There are things much worse in life to deal with. I am trying to strenghen my back and see if that helps and try to remember to thank God for the blessings I do have and for good sports bras.

At my highest weight (260.5) I was a 40DD. Now at 168.5, I'm 36DD. To be honest, I think if I weighed 100lbs, I'd still be a 32DD!!!!

Sometimes it gets me down, other times I think of all the women who pay thousands to get bigger boobs, and try not to be so ungrateful!!!

The jogging thing just doesn't work though.

I guess to a degree, we just have to accept our shape and make the most of it, unless the problem is so big that it hampers your life.

Good luck.

I can only vouch for myself because I do believe it just depends on the individual, but mine have shrunk. I've lost over 50 pounds so far. Unfortunately, that's one part of my body I DIDN'T want to shrink!! I've never been large chested. I would have loved to keep the boobs I had and just lose the rest, but it didn't work that way. I had at one point been a D and while I was pregnant I swelled up to an amazing E!!! I am only a B now and they are sad saggy looking things now, like they deflated. Oh well... time for me to invest in a wonder bra!!

Hi,

I'm a 44DD and they've shrunk to 44D second row of hooks. I tend to lose my boobs and butt first. Later they fill in. It looks pretty pitiful right now.

Hey Angle,
More than likely you will loose a few cup sizes. I have been up and down alot in the battle of the bulge. I would gain boobage Major boobage!! ) when I gained weight and loose it when I lost weight. I'm currently a 44DD and I want to die. It is so uncomfortable. No matter what the heck I wore, I looked like crud. The idea of jogging in this state is scary. Besides hurting like ****, I'd probably give myself braindamage or hurt someone next to me! LOL! I've thought about the fact that I may be stuck with these when I loose this weight. It is a possiblity. But my reward for loosing this fat is a boob job. I will have a reduction if it dont come off. I'm saving for it as I type. I figure it will take a long time to loose this so I will have plenty of time to save. So that is always an opition for you if you are not the size you are comfortable with when you meet your goal.

Ohhhh, how I can relate!

I have gone from 195 pounds down to 149 so far and my dang chest has barely shrunk! When I had my daughter 3 years ago I went up a cup size and even after losing 46 pounds I have yet to lose it!! 36DDD.. and I am just now beginning to be able to buy SOME 36DD's.. depending on the brand.. argh!!

Back when I was in HS, I went from 140 pounds and a 36D down to 124 pounds and a 34C, so I know they can shrink. I'm thinking MAYBE, now that I've lost a bunch of fat from everywhere else, now I'll see more of a difference there with the next 10-20 pound loss?? One can hope!!

If anyone does learn the secret to shrinking up there, let me in on it!!!

LOL

Have you tried wearing two sports bras instead of just one?

I hired a personal trainer once who made me run laps around the gym. I moaned and complained about my chest size, but he had no sympathy - he just told me to wear two sports bras.

It did help me.

Im a DD now and Im very afraid of losing my boobs. It would be nice to go down to a D or even a C but I dont want to go down lower. I weight train and have no problem at all putting on muscle but because I gain it so easily Ive been afraid to work my chest of the fear of ending up with no boobs

It really is all about the genes - I gained 40lbs with PCOS, and the first 20lbs went on my breasts. I gained 4 cup sizes!! I was even a 34DD at 112lbs. We big boobed women can't really change our shape and I think it is the LAST place we lose weight off.

Hey everyone!

Over the past year I have lost 100# I started at a 38DDD and I am now a 36C. I acctually went to Victoria Secret and was able to buy a bra. I have never in my life been average and now I can buy bras at any store I want to. I have always had to have bras special fit and spent alot of money on them. The last bra I bought was 7 bucks a walmart. For me the first place I lost was in my boobs. I am having a heck of a time loosing in my butt.

Hang in there it will get better.

Default There is hope!

Hi angelcat! I just wanted to say take heart, there is hope. If you were once a B cup, even when you were much younger and at a weight you'll never be, or want to be again, then chances are the genetics are on your side and you can lose enough in the cup size to be nearer where you want to be. I started out at 203 lbs in a 40DD, and needed a DDD. I think that was my breaking point because I absolutely refused to buy a bigger size ANYTHING, and buying a larger bra just seemed like giveng up to me. As I lost, I lost inches and gradually the cup size came down. I have regained some of the lost weight and noticed the bra isn't fitting that well again, same discomfort as when I was overweight before. Straps cutting in my shoulders, digging in on my sides, etc. I started doing arm exercises I'd learned in elementary school, 35 years ago, that I happened to remember the teacher saying "someday you will want to strengthen your muscles (on the sides of your body, under the arms) here to support your breasts" Of course we all giggled and blushed and laughed our way through, but you know what, it works! After 2 weeks I can tell a difference. Some button up blouses that previously had major gaposis no longer do, the bra isn't riding up or digging in as badly. I can go to the last hook again. Now I still need to lose more to get into a smaller size bra, but for now, this is working.

Here's the regimen, I do it at least twice a day:

Holding my arms up with fists in front of my face, elbows together, I slowly open them and push my arms back to my sides until I feel the pull underneath, along the sides of my breasts. Bring arms back to front, and repeat 10 times. (I've worked up to 20)

Same movement, but my arms are folded down so that they lay flat in front of me and I make the same movement, pushing my elbows back behind me as far as I can, feeling that same muscle tension underneath the arms, along the sides of the breasts. Same number of reps.

Finally I press my palms together with hands directly in front of my face (don't make 'praying hands', place hands so that the heel of your hands press agains the bottom of your fingers), elbows out, press your palms into the oppposite hand and hold for a count of 10. I do these 3 or 4 times a day. You can really feel the muscles at the top sides of your breasts as you press.

Don't ask me why these exercises affect cup size, I don't know, I just know in my case, they do. When I don't do them, I'm flopping around coming out of the cups in front or on the sides with my arms banging into them. So uncomfortable.

Of course DH would rather I did nothing to them, just let nature takes it's course, but he doesn't have to lug them around!

Anybody see the movie "Circle of Friends"? A very well endowed Minnie Driver is in a low cut party dress and says " Jesus, Mary and Joseph--I look like the prow of a ship!"

Great day to all,
upandaway

YOU ARE MY HERO!

I too, am a PCOS'er, and have always been big-busted... now cramming into 38DD, mostly because I can't afford the $70 for a bigger one, and I refuse to buy bigger until I lose the weight. I should probably be in a 40DDD or more. SIGH.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the excercises. As I was reading them, I remembered what they felt like, and they WILL WORK!!!!! I am so happy. I can even do them with MS!

You, my dear woman, are wonderful, and have made my day! I was supposed to get a reduction two years ago, but the docs refused at the last minute because my mother had a really horrible reaction to general anaesthetic, and until they get sorted out why it nearly killed her, we're not to get any kind of elective surgery at all, and I can't do much in the way of excercises because of the MS.

BUT I CAN DO THIS! Yahoo! Now I'm going to go home and do them!

Big, squeeze hugs!
