hi ladies-I've been so busy lately getting ready for hoards of family visitng and then my son's first tae kwon do tournament. Now his bday party is on Saturday and then I can breathe normally again.

I'm still hovering in the same range that I've been at a while but it usually takes me about a month and then I drop 3-4 lbs so hopefully that will happen again. I have def been looser though with the eating. I think it's b/c I haven't had time to shop with being so busy, and with company you never can stay on a schedule.

Today's been good so far if you don't count the fist full of m&m's(which I choose not to)

It's loverly and has a fabulous layout (like a books pages being flipped through) and Imade her a little logo just to fill in the picture spot..... hope she likes it!

other than that, today is a lazy day.....

okay Lottie. I made the cauliflower popcorn and I must have done something wrong. It didn't get crispy and it was greasy. What did I do???

With mine, the florets on the outside were crispy and it was tender on the inside (but not mushy!) Also, I just sprayed the outside of it with some pam olive oil and sprinkled with salt... Did you cook it long enough? I cooked half a head for about 90 mins (I wanted it really brown, the browner it is the sweeter/crispier it is) I know the recipe calls for one whole head cooked for 60 mins but that just didn't seem like enough time..... maybe cook it longer?

MsCrockett- It's really tough to decide who will be booted tonight. Elliot has an interesting style; I really like his soulful sound, esp with ballads. I'm kinda hoping that Taylor will go. He's good, but he'd a lil too goofy and such. I'm eager to find out tho!

Good suggestions Lottie. I really didn't like all that Olive oil. And I did a whole head for 1 hour. I'll try again cause everyone says its really good.

Thanks

yeah you just need to spritz it with pam so that the salt has something to stick to. It doesn't need to be soaked ...

Hi Gals,
Would you believe this is the first chance I've had all day to check in? Tomorrow's going to be a real busy day, too, and I'm so tired right now that I could go to bed, and it's only 6:30! On top of everything else, I woke up with a terrible stiff neck, and it's plagued me all day. I tried to do Curves before I went to work, but could only make it around the circuit once. Extra Strength Tylenol only took the edge off. And the girls were both grumpy and clingy today, too. We had a playdate come over this afternoon, and all they did was fight and complain. I could really use a couple of gin & tonics right now, but I'll be good and settle for a cup of Tension Tamer hot tea.
I'll try to get here early tomorrow morning and hopefully I'll be in a better frame of mind.

Today I have tried 3 new things:

popcorn cauliflower-a ++
Green beans in dijon/balsamic sauce A+
nf plain yogurt with a dash of grapefruit crystal light=A++

I normally get so bored with diets....so I go off of them, but all the recipes here are delicious and they are helping so much! No way could I just sit around and eat plain nf yogurt *BLECH* This is the best diet I have EVER been on....hands down!

Hi chicks!

Just a quick note to let you know I'm still OP - but I have wicked PMS and I'm under a deadline for May 15 at work. Sorry I haven't been more social.

Take care

wtg Lottie, think I'll try that yogurt with crystal lite. I tried it with SF jelly but it was a little bland.
