Hi Ladies

One week gone 5 to go with the Cancer Center. This morning I pampered myself with a good lay-in,and this evening going to induldge in a smoothing bubble bath.

The one good thing that happened I lost the [pound]that I gained with all that stress. Now I'm back to the 140's again. So its been one happy weekend so far.

Ruth-no plans, just going to veg out this weekend. Sorry about your muscle soreness, hot compress always makes my soreness go away.

Chipper-You and I both have neighbor problems. Can't believe people can't get along with one another. We have a old couple that starts havig all over the complex, they just can't mind their own business.

Batmomm-Good luck and do let us know how it turned out.

Soon-Have a wonderful weekend with your folks.

Lindy-Vacation,have a greattime.Hopefully we will be going to Hawaii on our 40th wedding anniversary vaction this Nov. Crossing my fingers that we go.

Want-it-Bad-Don't get discouraged everyone loses a different time & interviles.Just keep what your doing and the pounds will melt off.

Hi to the rest,I have to go,will post later Hugs BB

Default Just checking in

My DS won his final hockey game today and the championship is tomorrow. It was so stressful watching the game and it waas close, 5-2. My son skates faster to the team box then on the ice but he loves hockey. Had a major pig out day , and I think its out of my system, so back to plan. My parents are coming down today, BIG STRESS( mother daughter issues, and father daughter issues long story), so dinner and then here for the game tomorrow. So this will test my stress/emotional eating pattern. Anyone, got to go vaccuum, have a great day.

Hi all. Finally was able to get online. My internet connection has been cutting in and out all morning. I got on early this morning, started typing and then lost the connection before I could post! It's really nice here today - opened up the kitchen windows and the door to the deck (which has a screen door) to let in some fresh air. The added bonus is that my neighbor is barbecuing a brisket, so I can smell that coming in. Mmmmmm.

Was able to get a couple new recipes posted. Made the taco salad that I was craving for lunch today, so that recipe's out there now.

Gotta dash, so I don't have time to respond to everyone today. Hope everyone's having a great weekend so far!

We've had sprinkles here and there but luckily our Trash Bash didn't get rained out. We did so good! We even pulled three grocery carts out of the creek as well as bags and bags of trash. It was a bunch of fun.

In a couple of hours we head to the elementary school for the school carnival. I have to work at the bean bag toss for a half hour and will spend the rest of the time at the table our Cub Scout pack is hosting. We're trying to recruit boys. We're setting up a small tent and giving out samplers of cobbler. Since we can't have a fire there, we are fixing the cobbler separately and serving it out of the dutch ovens like we would at camp. I'll have a display set up for Twilight Camp too. I hope we get some interest.

It sounds like I'm going to be teaching volleyball at our Spring campout in a couple of weeks. That should be fun. I helped last time we taught the Volleyball beltloop so I should be able to do it by myself this time.

cottage:
I started out with the asthma a little over a year ago now. But, when I got the flu it made the asthma so bad and they complicated each other. This finding out that my asthma was being under treated for the changes that had happened in our moving in Nov. So, now they are treating the asthma more aggressively and it is getting much better. The coughing was just so bad that it injured (pulled muscles) my rib cage (which the doctors knew about, but, couldn't do anything). Anyway yesterday morning I coughed so hard I felt a rip and extreme pain, this was tearing at the muscle wall. Again not much can be done. At least now the coughing is way way down, now if the tears would heal. I guess I tried to stay to still in my sleep and that caused the spasms.
I am getting there. Just a long road. Can't wait to feel better.
Thanks for the concern.

Evening All!

I have learned an important lesson today. I CAN NOT have dark chocolate in the house. I thought I could, but I can't. I've been picking and picking at the damn bar I bought yesterday and now I've eaten the whole thing. I'm pretty good with will power when it comes to most things, but it's just soooo good *drool* So I just won't buy it anymore. One really doesn't need dark chocolate to live, right? Well, I guess we'll see if I'm able to stick to it. Not much time to chat today, but I'll check in with y'all tomorrow.

Have a good rest of the weekend chicks

Jana, hope you did ok tonight with the storms. We got another tornado and it damaged the same places it did 3 weeks ago tonight. Not as bad, but a few mobile home parks got wasted, more trees down, lines down, traffic lights down, and the tornado picked up an air conditioning unit and it landed on the top of Lowe's and the place caught fire. Still no reports of injuries or deaths, so we're 3 for 3. Supposed to be more possibly later tonight but we only have a watch until 11. Hopefully not much happened out by you. Hope you're ok.

Yeah so much for running yesterday and today. I've just been too busy. I'm checking my calendar and hopefully I'll be able to run tomorrow after work, if I don't have anything going on.

Take care girlies. Pray for nice weather.

Lisa
